Dont get discouraged guys, this method still works (9/9/22). But you have to loot all the suitcases or otherwise they wont respawn, so just try the whole circle as shown in the video and see for yourself :)
This is kinda silly but a minor timesave I found was when you get to the building at 3:33 , you can actually grab the item on the 3rd floor through the ceiling of the 2nd floor which saves you a set of stairs. If you hug the right side railing on the 2nd floor, there will be these little...boxes or something that elevate you slightly when you walk on it. Just mash your Confirm button and you can nab it. If you're going to be doing this method for hours like I did, every little bit helps.
Seems like the loot in those briefcases is randomized every time they reset. Because I just found the first briefcase shown in the vid, and on my end, I got a Magic Booster from it.
@@fourleafgg Yeah. But they do reset. One rotation when I was trying this during my grinding in Chapter 14 as of now, I found THREE "Rise Up!" Manuals!
I saw clips of some of the ridiculous things that happen in this game and bought it since it was on sale not expecting much. Absolutely blown away by the sheer amount of things to do. Played it for well over 100 hours
For ps5 right now, there is a chance the brief cases won't show up. I'd say about half to two thirds show up in a cycle. Really nice getting those ultra Stat boosts :)
I spent hours farming these stat boosts both yesterday and today. This method still works on 1.05. And I was able to beat the True Final Millenium Tower, thankfully!
This game is one of the best games I've ever played. And I got it for free not expecting it to be anything good but I was surprised. It's on a level with GTA but nowhere near the praise. The story gets a little over the top cheesy at points but some for stuff that is what makes the game great.
Yeah, I've been doing this over and over. Now I have a question. So, what would have if, first, you take off your armor, equip the worst weapon for him, and then also equip 2 yakuza training gear , and then, you boosted him to the point , all your stats are max. Would that mean you would do high damage even with a bad weapon? How much damage would you take? Would unequiping then re equipping the yakuza gear just forget about the boosting and just give negitive again even though you boosted so much that it should do nothing?
That's a good thought, the thing is that there is no "max stats" they are literally infinite so there is really no telling when you will reach that point but I am pretty sure that at one point you could most definelty get there it just takes a really long time to even get to were I am in the video.
@@RequestAssassin I don't think it's patched. It still works for me but to be fair I'm still in chapter 5. I've been doing this and grinding high level perverts in the park. I run around Yokohama picking these up and getting a ton of boosters then in Hamakita Park fight the lvl 38 pervert, get a good amount of XP for an hour then run around again. I've been doing this for days and I'm now level 42 and still only on chapter 5 before going to the warehouse to fight.
@@RequestAssassin Not patched can confirm. I bumped into this same idea by coincidence when I had to save scum and started getting attack and mental boosters along the way instead of the usual food Personally Sotenbori arena is the better way to grind than that IMO
@@Asapnudex-ray Dungeons don't get you specific stat or personality boosts mate, my advice: Management for money farming, Dungeons and Battle Arena for XP and gear, and this video for Stat and Personality boosters

Its kinda a standalone story wise but since its built in the same universe and technically theres a continuality, it is recommended to play yakuza 1-6 and then 0. Like if u play the prev games, kiryu appearance is huge cameo. Also it blows my mind when tojo completely vanished and Omi rules kamurocho. Feels like im in alternate universe 😂. Which the feeling that u wont understand if u didnt play the previous games. U will also dont understand how legendary are majima and saejima when the game stated that they are legendary
Does anyone know what the maximum stats are? I'm not only lvl 82 right now, and Ichi's attack is 667. I'm wondering if I should be dumping attack boosters into someone else or not.
the max for all stats are 9999. Hp and Mp will reach 9999 on your job before the actually base stat does. When the base stat is 9999 you’ll know because you won’t be able to continue boosting the character. When the characters banner turns dark then that means your character’s literal base stat is the max 9999 and this goes for all the stat can boosters.
Maybe so... if you're stillat this level, just do the Sotenbori Battle Arena and hit level 50 with your main 4 party members, have a fuck ton of money, good gear, and complete the management minigame (it gives you one of the strongest moves)
fastest way to max stats i found was to go online and get a cheat sheet then go to vocational school an ace all the tests. took about 30 minutes for all the tests but worth the outcome
I bought the stat boost pack and when I try to use it the game says my inventory is full. I sold a lot of materials to the pawnshop But it still says that my inventory is full am I clearing my inventory the wrong way?
You probably already found out why by now but trying checking you're storage also just incase. I feel like when I did that it said my items were sent to storage.
ichiban's costume is the true hero skin that's unlocked after u finish the game and can change into it at select jobs screen. adachi's is his n forcer job
I just tried it today still works. You can do it anytime you reach the city. Sometimes it just spawns food, so you may have to try several times until you get a booster.
I have that grinded for months every character lv 99 all jobs 99 all stats 9999 (hp, mp, dexterity, agility, attack, defense and magic all 9999) Playing on legendary mode and I feel like a God! P.S Playing on Xbox Series X😋💯

I belive it is. It Itchiban is the new face of yakuza since kiryus story ended so its turn based jrpg from now on. Accept for judgment that is a beat em up style whitch I like

I'd hate to spend hours collecting the boosters only for them to next have an effect Also do you happen to know if there is any gear that can prevent fear and paralyse? I'm an idiot and I sold all my equipment to make make quick cash and now in the amon fight in the true final dungeon when he inflicts fear and then uses orbital strike I die every time because I can't attack
No there's no upper stat limit you can do it infinitely! For fear yes there are items that can prevent that. Bracelet of the Gods for example. If you sold your items in a pawn shop they will be available for purchase in the pawnshop as well so you can go back and buy them again!
@@fourleafgg I've checked all three pawn shops and the items are gone, my only hope is that a part time hero quest I haven't done has them as a reward, or I'll have to do a new game plus and get them from gold chests again
@@thomas2400k It's been three weeks so I doubt you're still stuck but if you are you can also call Mr. Masochist right around when you think Amon will fear and the Orbital will only do about 200-300 damage.
@@basedchad534 luckily I didn't have to rely on this. I max leveled across the board and beat True Final Millennium Tower the first time with 1 retry at the Amon fight.
It's exclusive to the hero job. Called "True Hero" or something like that. The unlock is either for beating the game's story or reaching a certain rank with the Hero job, it seems that its not entirely known. I checked only after beating the game and had it, personally.

Hi VietPho, I do not know how many you need to reset them as I have not tested them but there have been times were I skip some items and when i come back to them they spawn! Hope this helps!

Here is a massive tip, save before picking it up and if it is not a boost you are after (or item) reload and pick it up again. The item changes!!

Looks like this is patched out as of 1.05, as items aren't spawning anymore.

The items are unfortunately not respawning, I think it's most likely patched (at least on PC).
If u on pc then use cheat engine, to avoid grinding but not to spoil 5he fun

Personally Sotenbori arena is the better way to grind than that IMO
@@RequestAssassin definitely bad luck plus if it was a problem they would have patched a long time ago.
Your not the only one I been getting food items to but sometimes I would get boost personality stats or energy drink to boost up battle
I ONLY got food and not every location he showed even had briefcases.
So I need to make all the stats 10 to get to your level right

how did u change their outfits in the overworld? when i switch costumes at hello work it only shows the outfits in battle
Your outfit can only be shown in the main world if you finish the story, it gives you the option when you switch jobs/outfits.

it wasnt necessarily fixed, but they changed it so that it respawns at random. it eorks, just not as efficiently

When the base stat is 9999 you’ll know because you won’t be able to continue boosting the character. When the characters banner turns dark then that means your character’s literal base stat is the max 9999 and this goes for all the stat can boosters.

there's an item that you can get by beating the arena in Sotembori. You will get it as an extra reward in one of the levels!
If you're just running around and don't want to fight enemies, you can activate vending machines, taxis and stores and they all disappear and reset.

Finish the main story, then go to Hello Work and you can set it to use them outside of battle when you select costumes

Keep playing the game, it’s either that or a DLC outfit he paid for. I think they give it out free as well, just check.

no you don't have to, just teleport to taxi and they respawn
