Cam Reddish is a great acquisition for Los Angeles LAKERS who I believe will be able to showcase his skills and talents and he's a great addition especially since Lonnie Walker gone to Nets .. Him with Rui Hachimota and Turean Prince plus Rookie Maxwell Lewis and that Ole Guy LeBron James should give LAKERS needed help at small forward position.
Facts ! I’ve been rooting for cam to come to the lakers for the last 2 seasons. I think this is his yr to thrive.

Mostly mental with Cam. Im sure those injuries killed his aggressiveness. He's always had a low motor and at times; he looks totally disinterested in basketball. He passes the eye test ( I really enjoy his game) but he seems to lack any drive to be better. Hes a very polarizing player, as he has shown glimpses of what many believe he can be. It seems that he thinks he should be the number 1 on any team. His numbers and efficiency actually improved in games were he was allowed to shoulder more of the offense. Hes had a very strange career so far. If he cant figure it out in LA, he will end up a decent bench player. Hes my favorite player, but this upcoming season will truly tell whether the Cam fam was wrong about him, or he ends up producing on a level we expect him to. Hes probably one of the strangest talents we've seen in quite a while. It looks pretty, he shows flashes of brilliance, then he reverts right back to inconsistenty. Im rooting for him, but this season will be it in terms of how his Nba career will pan out.
💯% agree, i believe there were times he had the the chance to display his game, and times where he might of not have been given a fair opportunity. Now if he doesn’t thrive this season in LA I think this is just who cam is as a player.

Hawks gave him enough opportunity. He had a low motor, bad shot selection, and carried himself like a slouch. A lot of hands on the hips while on offense if he didn't have the ball. I once remember he had stolen the ball and took his sweet time to a clear path to the rim and the defense caught up and blocked him from behind. More frustration things he did was shoot fades on three pointers. The way he treated the Hawks he deserved what he got in New York.
And he lived up to the opportunity he was given in atl for what ever reason he requested a trade out of atl he was hooping before he left. Mind you he was linked to la before he even went to ny. This is the opportunity he wanted, coming to la. But to call him a bust after coming off a season where he put up 11 ppg is a bit much.
@@upthescore 11 ppg at around 40 fg% is trash and just proves Atlanta gave him plenty of shot attempts. He didn't live up to his opportunity at all or he'd be a Hawk still. Truth is he wanted out early and Hawks weren't going to gamble to extend him with his poor shooting and declining defense. His 3 point game improved, while two point percentage fell, just totally inconsistent. For what it's worth his style of play he should be playing on a rebuild team where he gets the ball more. I don't know if he'll get that opportunity with the Lakers. Perhaps he will with an aging Lebron and injury prone AD.
@@fuel20 he’s definitely getting the opportunity this year. I don’t see why he wouldn’t . All of previous teams he was surrounded by wings. I guarantee you he’s gonna thrive. Ima come back to this comment by round December, that’s how confident i am in him.

@@upthescore 8 games played and he finally had a decent game as a wing making his 3 pointers for once. That 30% shooting and 12.5% on three's is atrocious though. Cam Reddish had plenty of these outlier games when he was in Atlanta. You'd think he was about to break out and he revert back to bad shot attempts and TO again.
Hopefully he can keep up tonight's scoring because he'll be out of the league if he keeps shooting as bad as he has.

@@VanIykees he went 10th, but that same draft rui went 9th and people were calling him a bust prior to him joining la. Cam didn’t fit in ny. I can guarantee you he will thrive in la honestly.
@@upthescore Rui was never a bust. Wizards had too many players vying for the same position as he. That was the major problem. That impacted playtime, which in turn stifles a young players development. Cam had no such problem. I honestly don't know what Cams problem is though. Teams have tried, but he's yet to pan out
