Im glad to see that Im not the only one that has had this trouble with the main gear. This was what I had sent you a while back. Michael and I are friends so this is something we have been working on for a while. Hopefully all of it can get resolved as mine has been pending maiden for exactly this problem now for a few months.
Yea, can't really fully understand it till we got to the point of being able to cycle the gear. Major Flaw on SM part. I wouldn't fly this plane without a sollution like the new scissor links.
That is looking amazing, Love the lighs on it and the power of them turbines, Pushing you along the floor at 100% was nuts. great video, cant wait to see more.
@@thelightersideofrc I loosen one of the screws that holds the big metal clamp for the wings on the front of the flat carbon crossbeam about 1/8 of an inch and hang the jet from two wires on the screw.
Very Nice Video Jonathan. Just one thing may want to put some Tie down in the Concrete floor some you won’t go sailing across the Floor. Just wish our Navy bring Back the F21 TomCat. Can’t wait to see this Tomcat Fly though the Air.👍🏻
Hey Sir. Such a beautiful aircraft, and very powerful as well. Can't wait to see it in the air. When is that? You know I have been patiently waiting for that. Thanks for the great video. Take care
So if I were to be purchasing the aircraft and everything needed to get it ready to fly (including turbines) AND your time to build it… how much would the grand total be?
It may be fixed with the replacement actuators but, it looked like the left wing was moving just a touch faster than the right wing in either direction of travel. I think if I had been holding the nose of that kitty while you were doing the turbine run-ups I'd have wanted some body armor, or at least a stainless steel cup! 🤣🤣🤣
I love this jet, but I am very disappointed with the paint scheme, that never flew on the tomcat with then VF-102,. This was the 50th anniversary scheme with the super hornets.
Much accomplished in this video! Engine Runs complete!!!! Thanks for watching!
Wow, that turbine run was a revelation, two strong guys barely able to hold the power those engines were putting out....amazing!
HAHA! For us too! That was crazy!
Thanks
Thank you!!!
Wow like a real airplane great
Thanks John!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for Watching!
Thanx for these series! My Skymaster Tomcat is waiting to complete. This helps me a lot! 🙂
Sweet! Thanks for watching!
That’s one awesome aircraft, job well done Jonathan 💪🏻👍🏻
Thanks very much!
I can’t imagine doing something this big
HAHA. it's a massive plane!
@@thelightersideofrc I think I’ll stick with a big edf for now. I flown turbines like that but never have had my own yet.
Most enjoyable
Thanks!
I hang mine from the screw on the front of the swing wing cross beam.
So basically C of G on front plane of swing wing? Thanks Keith

Thanks James! We will be maidening it at the Montana Jets event 3rd week of June!
@@thelightersideofrc We will wait for that video. I will be moved into my new home, and so I will be excited about that flight.
Can't wait to see the kitty take flight!
HAHA. Thanks for watching!
@@thelightersideofrc no problem been enjoying every minute of it minus one episode lol
F-14 VF-102 Diamondbacks ! :D
It's a pretty plane!
So if I were to be purchasing the aircraft and everything needed to get it ready to fly (including turbines) AND your time to build it… how much would the grand total be?
Your in the range of about $27,000-29,000 depending on many options.
What was that manual cutting device you used? Well it never needs power I guess.
Sometimes the old fashioned way is best!🤣

They needed some tweaking and then poof. Stopped working. The replacements will move slower due to the higher gear ratio.
The push power was nuts!
Can you helpme with the trows please?? Thanks.
Just follow the manual. Less is needed on elevator movement

Just a fantasy scheme! Should be nice a visible in the air!
Ese avión no cabe en mi casa si entra el avión no entro yo
Yea you have to have room to store it!
