I try to stay very organized. Find someone to vent to when you’re having a hard day. Allow others to help you. When things are crazy, it’s ok to walk away for a minute. Take some deep breaths and regroup. As my twins went through tough phases I kept the follow quote in my mind at all times…”This too shall pass”. It’s literally tattooed on my arm. I give my babies as much love and attention as I can to make sure they know that there is a strong woman in their life. Don’t sweat the small things. They may eat chicken nuggets every night and watch cartoons, but they are happy and healthy! Bottom line is parenting is hard. If your baby has a full belly and is in one piece at the end of the day, take it as a win!
New mom here, baby girl was born October 2nd 2022 and I completely agree with everything you said! ESPECIALLY the ways to help postpartum.. the best/ most useful gifts were prepared meals or meal delivery gift cards. One less thing to think about 🙌🏼
Loved hearing about their different personalities! It's a great reminder that every baby (and family) is different. And so not to worry too much about all the unsolicited advice we receive as new parents. We know our babies best. I feel I'm the best mom when I simply tune in to what my baby needs.
I have this idea that having twins would make it a bit easier than having a single when they are older because my sister and I were always together, we always entertained each other instead of needing or wanting anyone else, it's a built in best friend.We were never lonely, and we really did take care of eachother often. Idk if that makes sense? You guys are doing great!
You two describe them in such a loving way, it’s so nice. I know that obv makes sense as you’re their moms and you love them but it shows so so much. But also I’m loving this honest outlook of motherhood and how much you’re willing to share! Thank you for your content :) I admire you both!

My nephew is nearly 10 months, when my SIL came round for lunch on Sunday she had a nappy, wipes and a clean singlet - we’re in Australia so it’s our summer
I sm hoing through IVf and working as surgeon so I had to plan s lot in advance and I am happy to hear it helps! Also I am sure I won’t be happy handing my newborn to others 😂😅
This is an old video so not sure if you'll see this, but when you say "talk through future scenarios and have a plan" - what kind of scenarios are you referring to? My wife and I are FINALLY expecting in April and we're trying to prepare :)
There is twins in my family and you would not think that they are/was twins. They was that different they didn't actually know they was twins till they was adults (their mum died during child birth with them and they was separated and put to live with "spinster" aunts. That what was done in the late 30z early 40s) My mind was blown when I was told about it all

The part about being supportive to first time parents is so true! You realize after you become a parent how to truly be a helpful friend.

My twin brothers have never had any similarities, physically or emotionally. They have always had to convince people that they are even related.
I was the opposite, I wanted someone to come round and just hold the baby so I could clean up. I was just desperate for a break
