I'm so glad you're doing this little PSA. People are clueless at times, and this is a gentle way to teach them that families are not homogenous! Love your channel, your story, and your wee family! ❤
I have a twin brother and i felt SO related about the "who was born first?" question. It's literally the first question people ask us when they meet us, but you get used to it. Having a twin makes you feel special everytime. People will stare at you everywhere you go 👬💕
Y’all are so sweet! I love your little fam! You can truly see the love that’s there! Don’t listen to the bad stuff people say! You’re doing amazing and you’re great moms!!! I love being a part of the community!
I HATED it when people told me my hands were full with my kids! Drove me crazy! I started saying “I would rather them be full than empty!” That would make them rethink their words ❤
it's the progression as they get older.... mama, then mommy, then mom and my teenager sometimes calls me "brah" too funny!!!! I always reply, that's mommy to you Mr! lol
Agreed, thanks for sharing! I think current society is so focused on the more common unplanned pregnancy that they tend to speak on parenthood from the negative perspective.
I have twins, when I hear your hands are full I always said, yeah, both of them. In my experience they think they are being funny, but aren't, so I use their humor to respond.
I have 9 month old fraternal twin girls and I literally knew every question that was going to come out of your mouths 🤣🤣 I saw a similar shirt that says “yes they’re twins and yes my hands are full” on the back. I don’t have the patience for it either!
I am a twin. I love being a twin. My brother is 3 minutes older & weighed 8 lbs. I was a tiny 5 lb girl. My Mom had 6 & 4 year old boys. We had friends that would ask if we had the same birthday! We were like, yes. We're twins! Lol. I really enjoy watching your videos. ❤️
This is so relateable. I hate when people say "better you than me". 🙄 Like who says that to a stranger? But I love the sweet comments. I had one mom see me double carrying my boys, and she turned to her daughter to tell her that I'm super woman.
I have twin daughters. Once when they were about 2 we got in an elevator with a lady who averted her eyes. One of my girls said “We are twins, you know!” I cracked up laughing.
I have a 6 month old daughter and i cant go anywhere without ppl stopping me and asking questions and saying ofd things. I cant imagine how bad it would be if she were a twin! I had an older lady walk up to me and try to grab her out of my arms in a store! Who does that?! You ladies are doing great with your boys ❤
So I am one of 3 sets of twins, and apparently when it was just the 2 sets, one woman stopped my mom in the grocery store and started making comments, and according to my mom, at the age of 5 I interrupted this woman and said, "yes, we know, she HaS her HAnDs FuLl" because I had heard it so many times 😅 you're doing amazing, mamas!
I have twin daughters. Once when they were about 2 we got in an elevator with a lady who averted her eyes. One of my girls said “We are twins, you know!” I cracked up laughing.
My girls are Scottish twins, 1yr and 13 days apart. I got asked all those questions as well up until they were 7 and 8yrs old as they were always the same size and colouring. They're now 13 and 14 and slowly moving out of the Bruh phase, thank goodness 🤣😂
I have 5 kids - no twins - but my girls are all 2 years apart. People always commented that I must have my hands full! It’s not just twin parents! and it went on for so long. Even in their teens people were still saying it!
I have four kids 8 years apart now ages 19 to 11. I always got comments about how busy 4 kids must be. The other comment was “are they all yours?!?” It was constant.
Trust me, it happens with babies who aren't twins, too. My sons are 22 months apart, and we used to get asked if they were twins all the time. The older one was literally twice his brother's size when people started asking! Then, one lady asked, we said no they aren't, so she points at my 4 month old and says "Well, what's wrong with that one?" "Excuse you?" "Why isn't he sitting up better?" "Cuz he's 4 months old?" "Well, why's that one so big?" "Cuz he's 2?" Lol You can't win...
Omg it’s so funny what (usually older-sorry lol) strangers say! If I’m walking my dog and daughter, people frequently say my hands are full. I’m like 🧐 I’m thriving and we all are lol!
Im a twin mom too and this so true 😂. We can’t leave the house without someone saying anything. My twins are fraternal twins and people ask me can I tell them apart. umm yes haha
Hahaha I totally related to the twin comments. I was a nanny for twin boys when they were infants and why did everyone think they needed to tell me my hands were full? I know. 😂
An old man said "Mom has her hands full" to me when I was grocery shopping with my one newborn baby! I was exhausted that day so I don't know if it was because I looked tired, but it really annoyed me lol.
😂😂😂😂 I had Irish triplets 3 kids in 15 months! You blink and they are all in college. First time I took all 3 out (by myself) I got the most bizarre stares🤣🤣🤣
Sorry ladies - I have to be honest - I am guilty of saying “you have your hands full” but I truly mean nothing bad when I say it. I am just commenting about how busy you must be with multiple kiddos. I also say it when I see moms with several kids, not just multiples. I think around here (Tennessee) most people say that with the same intention as I but it may be different in other areas of the country. I think anyone who has more than one kiddo is a super mom anyway! Your both super sweet and I am sure your both great moms! Thanks for sharing your life with all of us! Have a wonderful week!!! 😊
I have three kids (no multiples) and people do say my hands are full. BUT guess what you just said: Your babies don't cry, 'they are great babies'. Well, babies who cry are still great 🤷 Sometimes we just say things without giving it too much thought.
I’m a mom, 31, but look much younger. People always assume I’m younger. I have 3 kids. 9, 5, and 2. And yes, I get the your hands are full comments too. Like yeah, no duh. But I can handle it just fine thank you. People really need to learn to mind their own business lol.
If I could attach a gif to a comment, it would be the pink poodle mama from Bluey, her name is Bella, looking at the camera and going "You're doing great." Because ya'll are the best mamas!
I had “Irish” twins 51 weeks apart and then my 3rd came right after so folks said they were stairs steps 08’ 09’ 10’. I got so tired of being told ohhhh you have your hands full and you need a TV or a hobby !!! Yup they said that too 🙄. When folks would say how do you do it I would always say it’s what I know. Also the Mama mommy Mom Bruh is the gradual change to what your kids call you Bruh like Bro. Many of the teens and preteens day Bruh to everyone including their parents. When my kids say it I just say something cringy and they laugh and call me mom or mama lol 😂 I wonder if after you say we both are the moms etc if their curiosity thinks I did 1 of each of your eggs (not that you owe them the details). With one looking more like Sam they might be assuming ohhhh this one is def urs. But either way I wish some people just thought before they spoke.
The amount of unsolicited comments and advice one received as a parent is baffling ! Usually, it's annoying and unhelpful at best, and anxiety inducing at worst.
That oh your hands must be full comment is ridiculous cause every baby is different. My sister-in-law and my cousin have boys that are 1 week apart but at this stage it’s less ‘work’ for my cousin because her son isn’t walking and my nephew is.
I can’t even imagine how much y’all are stopped…I am stopped constantly and I only have one child. But people always say the same things over and over lol.

Your boys are lucky to have you both as their moms❤❤❤❤
I think it’s so funny that people feel the need to vocalize their opinions all the time
When people said “you’re hands are full” to me, I said “yes, full of love”.
That's lovely!
you can *always* hit them with a well timed
"well, that's just, like, your opinion, man"
😂😂😂
❤
Nine months already!! Wow time has flown by…love you guys ❤
When I had twins I always said Anna was BORN first, not that she is OLDER. It worked for our family.
I HATED it when people told me my hands were full with my kids! Drove me crazy! I started saying “I would rather them be full than empty!” That would make them rethink their words ❤
As someone who had 3 miscarriages, your saying is such a great perspective and I’m glad to hear it made people rethink the negative comment❤
it's the progression as they get older.... mama, then mommy, then mom and my teenager sometimes calls me "brah" too funny!!!! I always reply, that's mommy to you Mr! lol
Agreed, thanks for sharing! I think current society is so focused on the more common unplanned pregnancy that they tend to speak on parenthood from the negative perspective.
Wow. I can’t believe the twins are nine months old already. Time sure flies 😊
damn, people are weird...
you two are awesome!
🎉🎉🎉
Allie that blue sweater looks great on you!!!

Funny videos 😊 much love to you all from a Nana in CT!
So glad to see you both and loved this great video and I think people are unique and weird as well..
Good morning all happy Wednesday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of all of you

I have 4 kids and constantly get “Your hands are full.” It drives me INSANE! I HATE it!!
"oh twins, that's my nightmare! I would hate my life" - a mother of a singleton

I have 1 year old, 3 year old, and I nanny a 8 month old and an 18 month. Every outing...your busy... your hands are full.
I get "are they natural?" grrrr!

People don't think before words drop out of their mouths.
It shouldn't be so difficult to be kind to one another!
Hahaha I totally related to the twin comments. I was a nanny for twin boys when they were infants and why did everyone think they needed to tell me my hands were full? I know. 😂
I have five children and when they were little I always got "Don't you have a TV in your house?" 🙄
how toninduce lactation without pregnancy, u using Domperidone?
Bruh is what pre- teens and teens like to call mom and pretty much everyone else lol
An old man said "Mom has her hands full" to me when I was grocery shopping with my one newborn baby! I was exhausted that day so I don't know if it was because I looked tired, but it really annoyed me lol.

Me and my wife live in the American south and we have a 4mo baby girl. It's always kind of scary when people ask who is the mom
I hope you girls are ok. The weather has not been very kind to Nova Scotia. Take care you two.

Are y'all gonna tell them who came first?? 🤣. I did and ummm. Bigger one is younger one here also! Older one now says "I was born first so I'm older"
Make a shirt that says "yes but my heart is fuller!"
Your hands are full 》Our hearts are full too. Xx 💙 💙
Make George a shirt saying "I'm the older twin."
I have three kids (no multiples) and people do say my hands are full.
BUT guess what you just said: Your babies don't cry, 'they are great babies'. Well, babies who cry are still great 🤷 Sometimes we just say things without giving it too much thought.
What are your matching necklaces?
And SAM where is your button up from? So cute!

i'm a twin mom and i often got the Oh wow a boy and a girl are they identical 😅
Same, that's so common it's kinda scary.
I have three dogs and get the your hands are full every single dog walk. It's literally all people can say
Dogs are not the same kind of hands full as kids and never will be.
I had “Irish” twins 51 weeks apart and then my 3rd came right after so folks said they were stairs steps 08’ 09’ 10’. The bruh on the tshirt is a TikTok reference
Where is Alex's wedding ring?
Not all married people wear their wedding rings when at home. What a strange question

Stop border between his faces and do they get i'm torn differences
I can’t even imagine how much y’all are stopped…I am stopped constantly and I only have one child. But people always say the same things over and over lol.
