Great review, I like how you review the pros and cons, I just got mined today 16oz black, they ran out of blue though but it's fine. Thanks for this great review! ^^
Just bought mine last week - was looking for a good replacement for a 5 year old plastic thermos mug. It's wonderful. I've been using it and chucking ice into it for work, and then making boiling tea and using that to hold it.
Insulated bottles will keep liquids hot or cold. Also you can cook certain foods in them. Oatmeal, some soup recipes, I even put boiling water and a Hebrew National, the best hot dog ever, when we stopped for lunch on the trail, dog was good to go. Basically it's a thermos. But if you want a bottle for your "survival kit" go with a single wall stainles steel. Like Canterbury's.
Does anyone hear a rattle with the 20oz version? I took the cap off and I hear this rattle coming from the inside of the stainless steel bottle. Weird!
This is easy to drink straight from, don't need topour it into a little cup. you lose heat, gain easyness. If I'm hiking a huge hill it's a thermos ultimate so coffee is piping hot at the end of the day. everyday its a kean kanteen hands down...
Sometime I don't know why people steal the most cheapest thing ever...i had this hemp bracelet stolen from me once, I was at the gym and goes in the bathroom to wash my self up a bit so I take off the bracelet so it won't get wet, I then go to the bathroom when i came back the bracelet was gone...i made it myself so it was like really cheap a couple of cent really, but i mean come on why would somebody steal something like that is beyond me T_T lesson learn for gym eh xD
Insulated water bottle?, does that mean same as like any commonplace steel thermos flask? from like Thermos, Stanley, Summit ET AL, that you buy in ASDA,TESCO (in UK) or say WallMart in US for like £6, or equivalent US bucks, or are we being pillocked into believing the wheel has been re-invented ???
Look at it this way, you are effectively removing your bad karma that you've accumulated in past life time :P For someone to steal a wattle bottle or a lunch box, that must of been pretty desperate, you have contributed to society by leaving your possessions to those in need. Thanks for the review :D
DIY attach lid. String or chain and loop it around one of those Live Strong bracelets and wrap that around the bottle. Should look good and work well.
I did not know they had an Insulated bottle now. thank you.
I'm obsessed with these.
You could possibly use a dremel tool (or similar) to etch your name into the stainless part.

Love your videos and have based a couple purchases on your reviews. Keep up the good work!

I heart my KK insulated bottle. Nice review!
Great review!
How many ounces of water ,liquid will container hold, how much and where to buy?
Klean kanteens are nice, if I seen one just sitting there it's an instant snatch for me lol
super carnitas Are you saying that if you saw someone's klean kanteen sitting there, you would steal it?
I think they sent if they saw one somewhere and no one came back for it in a few minutes than they would take it.
You should use an engraver instead of labels that can be removed.
Where did you get the lid with the metal inside?
+Juan Ibarra it comes with the bottle when you buy it
what is the benefit of the insulation type bottles if you are not able to throw it into the fire????

What size is the big one?
20 oz
Thought it was vacuum seal which means the insolation should low pressure air.

For me problems was to find a bottle without TRITAN plastic.....or the minimum...
Can someone explain the difference between this and a regular thermos?
"Thermos" is a brand, not a thing. They make many different insulated bottles and containers.
Ah ok. Thanks for the info, I didn't know that.
Rabi Ahmad
A thermos is a thing! Yes its also a brand but it was a thing before it was a brand. God damm.

Stickering the shit out of my bottle has always kept it pretty visible. Then again, I'm still using a nalgene.

Hydroflask is better, they are also insulated and offer bigger ones, 40 oz and 64 oz.
yes but they get heavy. I have the 40 oz and when I put a lot of ice it gets heavy.
try corkcircle
Nope, but it still works fine. Water stays cold and hot drinks stay hot.
i hate big water bottles i like the little ones..we both have the same name lol..
That can only mean one thing, your stainless steel water bottle is haunted haha jk but something must had broke off idk

Guess again, Johnny. Hydroflasks are shite.
