Yeah it sucks at 5.7. Can’t do anything to tigers or panthers at range. With the VK existing now at 5.0 it struggles even more. You just get lol penned.

That last battle hit me in the feels. I played a match a couple of days ago and I got 17 kills while the guy in second place only got 2 and an aircraft. And we still lost. Was almost a full uptier for me. Had to get off after that one lol.
Better you play, worse team you get. When I am uptiered n-times in row, just hit W and play badly hoping to die quick with poor results so match maker is more merciful to me next time :D

I still remember when I started playing war thunder I got my t34 and was super stoked to get this bad boy to battle. Until I faced this one. Literally a boss battle until he got my cannon and tracks. I was terrified😂

Just don't play heavy tanks in uptiers. If you're lazy, go back to hangar. If you're less lazy, bring tank destroyers and glass cannons in your lineup and use those in uptiers, then use the heavies in downtiers.

T14 is fantastic but the 75mm at 4.7 requires a bit more care to use than a 76mm or any German gun. Also the armour gets clapped in any kind of uptier, but I absolutely love to bring this thing out late in the game.
Me driving this thing: every single enemy round punches through at any angle be it a russian 76mm or german 50mm. Every single youtuber: "this thing can survive almost anything"
I watched half of this video before hopping on warthunder, i eventually went against this and the info about the weak turret front was very helpful, thank you for content and telling us about the armour!
It took me by surprise when I learned of the turret armor but a solid mg port shot or middle of the chassis right under the turret will one shot every time damn near.
I spent 80% of the time uptiered when I play the T14 and it does not uptier well with that 75mm cannon. Maybe you're just luckier to get same tier or downtiered in it but I've had so few "fun" times in it I rarely take it out these days.
This tank is just a big block of metal and a gun.. I do recommend anyone who is looking at buying a premium tank, get this one... it can tank like nothing else and for its br the gun is pretty good
That "something" that makes more than half the lobby not get a kill is Russian troll armor xD Since I play the T-34 im 100% positive that these things are absurdly overpowered. Same goes for the KV...
When my friends decide they want to play USSR and I end up driving a T-34, when there is a breather after a fight it can be fun to 'free look' at your tank. Sit there going "that should have killed me, that should have immobilized me, dunno how I survived that hit with no damage ...my condolences other team I know how that feels".

the t14 goes absolutely 1 of 3 ways, you get uptiered and slaughtered, you get downtiered agaisnt people who know how to fight it and die or you get downtiered against those that dont know it and curbstomp, oh and for those that struggle to kill it, the turrent is the weakspot, of you got 140mmish pen flat, you can go through it, even the side if they angle the face, that or the transmission housing is very weak

I love playing as this tank because it's so much tougher when angled correctly, and it's fun to annoy the enemy by predicting their position and angling. When done right, it also generates loads of silver lions. It's certainly not as tough as a Jumbo though, despite what some say. Other people argue it's useless and probably aren't playing it right. Doesn't feel mega-powerful - mine has a strong aced crew and still has only 268 kills to 171 deaths so far, despite how I generally also have to avoid full uptiers with it (as its peashooter struggles with heavy tanks).
I picked this tank up the other day just because I had some extra GE left over from feeding the snail. The armor on the projection analysis isn’t stellar but in a game it doesn’t like to let rounds through. Solid buy I would get it because I can see gaijin eventually getting rid of it
Couldn’t agree more, I have a pretty effortless 3.5kd in it, I’m not even good at the game either. This with the xp55 is my fav way to grind sl, might not be most efficient but it’s pretty good, and both are a blast to use

I really wish taking out the radiator actually affected the tank, like it could overheat the engie and the engine would break. Would make it actually usefulish to kill the radiator

I quit after maybe getting 2 kills in about 10 matches. It's crazy to me that a person can dumb down the graphics and see about 100% better. Feels like a cheat.
also, when i last played WT years ago the P4 was miserable. Slower than the P3, barn sized, can be penned by a poptart, and the internal layout isnt great either...
Playing German one game on that Japan Map, I usually avoid the centre "B" spot, but I, in a Panzer 4 H and another player a J ended defending the position for over half the match, it was wild, still not sure how we won that game.
Now imagine if they've taken M6 turret and put it onto this one? No idea why I haven't yet seen one as a model or even as a picture, it seems like a cool and obvious "what if" scenario.

You should try the Centurion Mk 1 odd, it has a good gun which ufp's panthers until 500 meters and its armor bounces Tiger I's and Panthers even at close range

I learned where most ammo racks are and aim there for apcr because it almost always racks them
You should play the Italian p40 with its aphe shell only it is quite fun on a flank

Well, M4A1 with M1 gun feels pretty OK on 5.7. T14 for 4.7-5.0, Sherman for 5.3-5.7. Really great preset.
I play the m 24 at 5.0-6.0 on a regular basis. Jap m 24 is rank 3 so I can use it for daily, special, and battle pass tasks.

I got mine in the warbond shop in the battle pass a few seasons ago. Its great. I got ambushed by like 5 t34s and won.
