Dude, this is soooo cool!!!! I don't know how well it'll work for stuff like low latency video games but it seems like it'd work incredible for shows, turn bassed games, extra monitor, ect
I got one. i give presentations on mine featuring birds with fine detail. i needed a projector that has both good color and the ability to show fine details. Most won’t do both, but this one will if used correctly. Also, when not doing presentations, which is most of the time, this guys throws up a 120” diagonal image on the wall. :)
This looks amazing but at the current price I would never consider it. I just spent 2k on a macbook and I would need a quarter more for this. Great review though
Kyle, thanks for the review. What kind of replacement options are available for this brand’s laser component(s), obviously it doesn’t have a typical lamp, so what’s the cost of replacing the light source, when it bites the dust?
The lasers are rated to last 30,000 hours. Which translates to you would very likely never need to replace them. 30K hours comes out to having the projector on 8 hours a day everyday for 10 years.
I want one! But before I could justify one of those gorgeous devices I'd have to buy a bigger house with a dedicated space for an entertainment room. I can't picture the boss going for that.🤣
Regardless of the color strength, I think there's a difference between watching a projection and watching a lamp. I hope that someday backlighting will be a thing of the past
Too bad this is a sponsored video and thus, an 8 min advertising... I assume Kyle receives precise instructions from the brand to for example never show the product actually plugged (with cables).. I say this, because one of the big hassle / challenge with projectors is precisely this: how to get to connect your playstation, apple TV, computer... or even sound system nicely and without cables crossing all over the room. I wish the video would address these real-life issue and not present the product as if it was a wireless item.
Hey, the video is my honest opinion - as far as not showing the cables, etc. No, there was nothing like that required from the brand. I don't have any issues with cables, and like the video shows, I don't have this permanently mounted anywhere. If you're upset my experience didn't line up with your expectations, maybe look for a video that does, or make your own video 🤷♂️
It's $1200 on amazon now as i type.. I have had one for 6 months when it was 2500 and its my best projector ever

there's a low latency mode for gaming, but it's not the same as a super high response TV or monitor for sure. Still fun though!

i honestly feel sad when i see a video like this only having 4.3 k views
Yes. But does have a zoom lens?
It only has digital zoom. No optical zoom.
Did you mention the noise produced by the projector?
