How to Composting Straw in a bedding pack barn

An economic way to use straw in a compost pack barn for dairy cows. Instead of stalls and concrete these cows can lay down any which way they’d like in a soft warm dry bed of composted manure and straw. We compost the pack area with a pto rototiller twice daily aerating the pack intern composting the material. Most compost barns use saw dust, we instead increase the square foot per cow and use straw which is more economical in the long run and give us a bigger barn to grow into.

Hello how much more space compared to straw do you allow? in square metres or feet. And Is this barn for dry cows or milkers? And how cold is your winter. Many thanks
