Ok back in the late 1970s when I first visited Lake Tahoe... the wate was like swimming in air. I think that it is extra cloudy , certainly since my last dive to this spot, i believe the wildfires dropping ash may be the reason

Nice deep dive! Do you carry an independent redundant air system being that you’re diving solo? I recently purchased a 13cf pony tank for this reason. I try to stay above 30ft when solo without an independent air system.
Yes I do, normally i would dive side mount doubles, but since i have not practiced the rig in over a year and I was diving alone, i stayed with my more practiced single tank back plate and wing, i also carried a sling bottle, an aluminum 80 which I normally use as a deco bottle. This time I had regular air in it and used it as a travel tank, breathing from it until I reached the drop off. Then i switched to my back gas in a 100 cf steel tank. This situation gave me extended range and offered an independent back up air source.

Ageed!
The round rocks look like props made a movie called cocoon? Amazing scenery
Or the Tim Allen movie Galaxy Quest!
Watching this I'm equal parts "that's cool" and "be careful!" I hope you got a partner diving that deep?
how deep did you go?
Nice! So jealous. ScUber just got inspected for tahoe. Has the blue tag on it and the Tahoe sticker!
Hey, does your computer show theoretical depth or actual depth?
It show actual depth, it is a tech cpu, so theoretical would confound decompression.
@@mokpot makes sense! Good stuff. My G2 gives theoretical and it is confusing at times.
What was the water temperature?
High 60's at the deepest part it was a little below 50F
You should team up with some other divers and do underwater bolder rolling over the edge of these steep slopes.
So clear it's amazing ❤️ you could get some cool photos sitting on those rocks
How do you find ur way back, you have a GPS right?
Hi Tiina, a compass is the tool of divers and I always have a reverse heading in my mind as I go, but mostly I remember land marks and depths.
@@mokpot oh wow.. I can't go more than 10 meters into the woods by myself without getting lost lmao
LOL, you need to go with a friend!
@@mokpot or drag a line of yarn behind me lol
@@saintsinner7565 Funny woman... just do not use bread crumbs...
Interesting what you see under that lake.
I do not get tired of exploring it
mokpot I can imagine and it’s deep
Where's the mysteries the world wasn't ready for
Those would be 1400 feet deeper...
@@mokpot oh man, that’s actually really deep... how deep is Lake Tahoe?
@@vibrantzr1066 about 1600 feet
Did you ever see any jellyfish or shrimp people say are in lake tahoe?
