4:44:13 Griffin Knight Lindon is one of my faves. His +20 crit skill automatically procs while he is wielding engage weapons (they have - weapon rank, which seems to be considered the lowest rank) so, if the opponent is NOT wielding an engage weapon while Lindon is, he gets +20 crit. My personal fav is Lindon axe griffin with Byleth. Byleth's weapons compliment griffin stats well. Vajra take the avg of str+mag, and Sword of Creator gets additional damage from good mag. Since Griffin is flier, the last engage weapon is Luin, which scales with Griffin's great speed. And, now Lindon has total control of weapon triangle: Killer Axe, Luin, Sword of Creator, and Vajra. Inherit Marth's Break Defenses and maybe even Lunar Brace (which works with Vajra) and you get even more extra swings for lots of crit chances 😁 Augment Byleth's engage weapons with +crit for even more madness. I'm gonna make a YT video about it I swear. The build is absolutely hilarious!
Choosing the lance version of Mage Knight for Chloe because she has a lance proficiency seems like a trap. Levin Sword + Sword Power (with a physical sword in your back pack just in case) is just so good. I unironically think that Sword Mage Knight Chloe is the best combat unit in the game, so seeing you lock her into lances hurts a little lol.
To add to this, the reason lances suck for magic builds is because flame lance is so bad (3 lower might and 3 more weight than levin sword). This makes Levin sword is the only good magic weapon to abuse power skills with. Since enemies generally have lower res than defense, this makes sword power levin sword the best weapon in the game. That said a physical chloe build can work, but you can run physical builds on other units while using levin sword on chloe is one of her strong points. Especially since she can get sword power 3 before chapter 10 now thanks to the well.
Don't know how cursed it is, but I'm actually pretty fond of warrior alear. In my runs she had enough build by the end that with lief she wasn't weighed down at all wielding brave axes, silver axes, and tomahawks but with the added flexibility of 1-3 range making it way easier to position her to get others in range of her personal skill. I also don't use the DLC tho, and I would imagine you probably just don't end up running him full stop with the DLC emblems.
4:10:02 IMO just use rescue or warp staff. Don't inherit repo just to move an ally 2 spaces when staves are already her thing and those do ally moving way better (and, if holding Micaiah, even more staff synergy.) I personally like Divine Pulse, Canter, and/or Hold Out on her. DP gives her 100% success rate on her attacks and staves due to her 50+ luck, so IMO DP is almost mandatory. I play Outrealms, pure OP endgame strats 💪🏿
Fun fact about dodge tank Yunaka: once you get pair up, put her next to an enemy with back-up. The enemies will try to attack her, thinking that the back-up will actually do something. So you can still have 0% chance of getting hit while tricking enemies into attacking you. Also, Soren's Assign Decoy is pretty solid and gets 3 enemies to attack that unit no matter what (so long as they are within reach).

2:38:04 i’m just gonna cut in here to offer the suggestion of Mage Knight Lief for Lapis, now there is a whole hecking video breaking down how to accurately use adaptability on Lief, and I do need to rewatch that, but one thing that I can tell you is that Lief’s Engage attack all benefits from sword power, yes, each of the 4 hits get +10 damage each, Not only that, but her Magic growth looks Solid, so she might rock the Light brand too Lapis is another unit that I never know what to do with, but that’s because I just never tried to look at what I can do with her, Paladin & Bow Knight both sound good with Sigurd though, less stressful XD Honestly Lief might just be best on Alear for Engage+ 🤧
2:21:48 my problem with Yunaka was that she just never did damage, iirc reclassing Alfred into thief gives him a lot more Str than her at base, & he’s a better option since Thief can’t make use of her magic stat Not only that, but she’s actually pretty easy to avoid stack since she comes before you first lose Marth When it comes to Yunaka, I don’t have a solid answer, but some suggestions would be: 1) Mage knight to make use of her magic potential & mixed offense 2) Warrior, a decent class overall and could be played similar to a sniper build 3) General, for some team variety, boost to Def & Str, & being unbreakable so you could take more risks to set her up for Critting every enemy unit without worry 4) Mage Cannonier, I’m not sure if you can Crit with cannons, but she has a good dex Growth so should hit hard & 5) Sword master, for Crit Run throughs, but her total growth would be 45 str right? Halberdier might be a good option instead, 50% Str, 40% Mag, & pincer maneuver for follow up attacks on possibly weapons too heavy for her to double with normally? I’d consider it~
1:37:57 Etie is a weird one I’ll say, I never know what to do with her, I could run a similar set to dagger Alfred with her being a “tank” unit so she could burn healing items on herself, but honestly I’m not fully sold on the idea But unlike dagger Alfred & wolf knight Louis, if I make her a wolf knight, I’d want to run a defensive emblem on her, probably Hector over Ike, that way she could manually damage herself as well as lockdown an area for enemies from passing her, +Cav bonuses Warriors already have access to longbows, which is my favorite weapon for them, so the bonus to rank doesn’t sound as tempting to me to want to go for, Veronica is also my favorite emblem to put on backup units, but her reprisal skill is just a little against Etie’s personal skill so you can’t exactly get the best of both unfortunately, so yeah, i’d consider making a tank using Hector or Ike in something like Wolfknight XD
It’s so weird seeing someone optimize around maximum stats and post-game, rather than bases and growths for the main game. Take Citrinne for example: Sage is pretty clearly better in the base game, with more base magic, speed and build (and a better skill imo). S staves is worthless because there’s one single-use S-rank staff in the game, and you can just give that to Hortensia. Entrap and fortify are nice as well, but there’s a limited supply of them too. Meanwhile, Nova is infinite use and benefits double from higher magic. But in this framework, High Priest has better stats all around, other than magic and dex. Losing Nova is unfortunate, but the S-rank staff can be used repeatedly and it is very useful. Interesting analysis all around!
I'm honestly surprised you only had one unit classed as a Warrior, as that’s been the best class (that’s not exclusive to one unit) I’ve used in the entire game. Thanks to Longbow's hitting at 3 range, that makes them have the widest range for support damage without using Lucina's Dual Assist. Not to mention that as you can change what units hold without using their action in a turn, you can do a cool combo of; making them equip a longbow, do your attacks onto enemy units with other characters, then move your Warrior into position and equip an axe based weapon to fight during the enemy phase. I can confirm that this provides good results, as I'm currently using Clanne and Panette both with Warrior, and they’re both currently stealing the MVPs on each of the maps they’ve been used on.
There are only two characters in the game without unique classes with a Bow innate, Etie and Anna. Considering Anna's Str compared to Mag it would be a major nerf to keep her in Warrior. As such there's no real reason to have anyone but the best character for the class in it, Etie, put anyone else in it and they can never wield weapons like the Silver Bow that she can; there's no purpose to putting multiple characters into a class if one is just going to be a worse version of the same thing and therefore most optimally benched. And what you described can be achieved the same using Bow Knight / Cupido, a class more characters have better options in in due to the diversity in weapon types boosted by innate proficiencies.
@@AcousticHarmonia 1) Using a Bow Knight in place of the Warrior requires the usage of Emblem Lucina in order to work the way I described, since the primary drive to Warrior is 3 range support attacks with the Longbow. 2) I won’t deny that Anna is optimally better off as a Mage unit, that does not mean she’s completely useless in her base Warrior class. The Radiant Bow is an incredibly effective weapon in engage, which Anna can use effective results. 3) Etie and Anna are definitely only units that can use Silver Bows in that class, that I can agree with. I'd argue whoever that the high attack units in Engage don’t need them, since they can use powerful axes to take out enemies in one hit. Take my Panette build for an example, I combine the Killer Axe with Ike's Wrath and her own personal skill to become a critical hit spammer, and her attack and speed is so good that the Longbow is more than enough to kill enemies from range if I'm barely out of range. I have also seen this build done on Amber of all units to high results, and I'm positive that an Etie with good level ups could perform too. I apologise the late reply, as TH-cam gave me the notification 15 hours after you wrote that in the first place. I will admit that innate Proficiencies isn’t something I took into account while doing my run, nor will I deny that Warrior is a pretty restrictive class compared to Bow Knight which let's you choose the secondary weapon to bow. However support attacks are a primary key towards Engage's combat which provides chip damage that can wear down bosses and high defensive units, which Warrior provides along with the offensive force to act on its own.

1:33:04 I am surprised you didn’t mention other class options, during my play through hard and maddening, Alfred unfortunately sucked in his class XD BUT! he actually makes a pretty solid thief for the story, his bld does weigh him down too much, so switching to lighter weapons is honestly one of the best things you can do for him, his personal +2 Str helps balance out the low Mt of these weapons One confection knife, engraved of course, would basically be his signature weapon on thief, the class also balances out his growths to basically all 50% so he’d be a well rounded unit too! Of any character to be turned into a thief, i’d say he’s one of your best options I am also planning on messing around with wolf knight for the post game tbh, make use of both Daggers low Mt & his Lance boon, the only other character I’m planning on being a wolf knight is Louis as a more “mobile wall” kind of build (plus not getting wighed down by heavier weapons is kinda sick), just gotta get a feel for them both lol
2:26:16 Alcryst is definitely my favorite overall, I love his class & While Lyn is a great emblem option, might I also suggest Marth & Celica? :3c With Marth, I believe Lordstar rush also has a chance to proc Luna each of the 7 hits, +Coverts get an engage bonus on Divine speed, where if their Extra attack lands, it poisons the foe So if I’m correct, Alcrest can make 2 regular attacks with Marths swords or His bows, +1 attack at 50%, poisons the foe after combat, & he has a Luna chance all 3 hits throughout? Heck yeah, oh and break defenses work with divine speed, right? So it’s 4 hits on Axe foes? Hehehe >:3c Celica is also fun for a different idea, Echo +Luna for a chance of doing extra damage against multiple foes, a little basic & underwhelming compared to above, but an echo Luna sounds fun to me X3cc plus he could make use of both Str & Mag bonuses for regular or the radiant bow~ I’ve also been tempted to make him a dagger unit for the same reason as Alfred, that boosted Str is pretty great for daggers~ Chrobin is also a good option 👀 Luna Levin swords at +10 Mag, Coverts also get +1 Mov so you have a semi Bow knight on the team!! Getting Keen insight from Soren for +7 Damage might sound like overkill for an archer, but if you are gonna use an emblem with effectiveness (be it Falchion, or something engraved for armors, etc) then it’s a fun idea at least, it’s like Weapon sync but that only boosts Str, while this can boost Mag if you’re using a Mag weapon I’d also suggest bravery/gentility over Lunar Brace, again because the damage boost could work for both Atk & Mag, but also I don’t think that takes the most advantage from Luna, Buuuuuut a Luna+ Solar Brace hit does sound fancy as heck to be fair, I like it X3c

MY Alfred build is Hector with Lifesphere, but instead of the abilities you recommended I would put either Unyielding or Book of Worlds. Both are very cheap and just add onto his "rush in a bait attacks" playstyle. Unyielding just keeps him alive and rolling for much longer (as a just in case) and Book of Worlds gets stronger every time he Waits, so after a few turns of baiting plebs into attacking he can then single out a uniquely strong enemy and heavily debuff it (it also self heals at level 4 and 5)
So for Alear with Corrin/Chrom and their magic boosts, this actually isn't that bad of a thing since Alear uses arts and arts uses the average of both strength and magic. Also with the Marth and his Break Defenses ability you chose to have him on classes that already use Swords, so still limiting them to only part of the weapon triangle. what you should really do is put them on something like a Great Knight or Wyvern Rider that use Axes/Lances, and then when when you engage you can use all three types of weapons to destroy well over half the enemies you'll come across
I really appreciate your philosophy on variety, I know some of the royals would be better off in other classes, but it always felt wrong for a character to have an exclusive class and just NOT use it. Idc if Diamant rarely pops Sol, he's the only unit that has that skill, I'm GOING to build around it
Have you tried Alear with Eirika? Steel arts is better than other brave weapons for them because it is lighter and has +10 crit, so quadding with it will usually melt down the enemies, even wyrms. All it needs is one crit. Of course, any fast unit with Eirika is good, but I think that Alear is the best one with it because with their Divine Dragon skill and quadding, they will be Engaged most of the time. Also, Eirika is great for a tanky frontliner because of her defensive and recover skills so I think it is a waste to leave her for a backliner. Also, Alear has an advantage over Martial Artists because they don't have such low speed cap like Martial Arist.

With Book of worlds, Geosphere, Gentility, or Pair up, so She could go out and Tank in a non tank class, heal herself, & overall attempt to be self sufficient My Thief Alfred really showed how effective it it to just go out there & sit down lol, man, these Wait skills really make me feel the fact we only have 2 skill slots 🤧 Also, I know a few people like to make her a sage, & I’d also be tempted to look into high priest since she’d have a pretty decent defensive style, but that personal asks for something tanky & I’m not one to fight lol
2:33:35 yeah I’m not gonna try and be controversial on this one, high priest is about the best XD I know sniper + radiant bow + Lyn is the speed run method, which is interesting, But I feel like there’s already enough competition for bows, and this gives her the option of gauntlets, which while is very minor, it’s utility option to break enemy ranged units for free, at least without costing a staff usage, +you can build the engage meter for free because of it, it’s a decent option For Skills though, again I’d say bravery/gentility, +5 damage when using magic, & take 5 less damage when the enemy attacks (as long as you remember to use Night & Day) You *could* also also be funny & try to boost her Gauntlets since her Mag is unquestionably amazing, so lunar brace + Brake defenses for shutting down & possibly killing enemy ranged units, Heck you could have *Her* be the Erika user to have both Lunar brace & Gentility on the emblem, so you could take brake defenses + what you already have listed, like Staff mastery, or Mag/Res +5, HECK ARMS SHIELD from Lief so you can total -10 damage basically from any ranged foe, & the Defensive gauntlets for -15 physical!! I swear I used a brave sword on her before??? Dang, welp! The Steel Blade is cheaper anyway XD & Break defenses is still a decent option I’d say!!
Ahhh I don’t have DLC so it’s hard for me to know what to do since so much of this seems centered around it 😢(which makes sense since you’re going for the most optimal numbers wise and the DLC stuff is apparently super good, just sucks for those of us who don’t have it! Haha)
I really wish FE would add some sort of post-game that was challenging enough to warrant min-maxed builds. The Fell Xenologue, trials, and recall battles just don't do it for me. The value of Fog Breath is in the way that the fog appears outside of the damage area, so if you initiate on a dangerous group of 1-2 or 1-3 range enemies it allows your coverts to come in and mop up. Would be more relevant with more challenging enemies.

Obscurite gains crit when you refine it. For Soren build. You didn't consider Citrinne Nova S Rank tome use. Which is fine since it's availability is low but you mentioned maxing out units, a brave tome scaling off of the sage class with the highest mag cap, her only good stat, is impactful. Engraving nova/thoron for the extra MT adds to her minmaxxing, then learning divine pulse+ for hit. High priest does not do anything for her. She's gonna get one rounded by literally everything because her spd, hp, and defense is abyssmal. The defense scroll is not worth it in the slightest. Genuinely. S rank staff, worthless. Art access, worthless. You're placing way too much value on innate proficiencies. Also, quick riposte on a squishy mage?? Who is she gonna be riposting?? Surely not any warriors, thieves, or heroes who could easily one tap her? Enemy phasing mages is not the way for Citrinne. But no riposte for jade, a literal tank? tldr; sage citrinne better because mag minmaxxing + nova + cheap engrave + promotion bonus + cap = good. It's mostly minmaxxing but this is about Nova being a massive powerboost for citrinne.

4:44:13 Griffin Knight Lindon is one of my faves. His +20 crit skill automatically procs while he is wielding engage weapons (they have - weapon rank, which seems to be considered the lowest rank) so, if the opponent is NOT wielding an engage weapon while Lindon is, he gets +20 crit.
My personal fav is Lindon axe griffin with Byleth. Byleth's weapons compliment griffin stats well. Vajra take the avg of str+mag, and Sword of Creator gets additional damage from good mag. Since Griffin is flier, the last engage weapon is Luin, which scales with Griffin's great speed. And, now Lindon has total control of weapon triangle: Killer Axe, Luin, Sword of Creator, and Vajra. Inherit Marth's Break Defenses and maybe even Lunar Brace (which works with Vajra) and you get even more extra swings for lots of crit chances 😁 Augment Byleth's engage weapons with +crit for even more madness.
I'm gonna make a YT video about it I swear. The build is absolutely hilarious!

Choosing the lance version of Mage Knight for Chloe because she has a lance proficiency seems like a trap. Levin Sword + Sword Power (with a physical sword in your back pack just in case) is just so good.
I unironically think that Sword Mage Knight Chloe is the best combat unit in the game, so seeing you lock her into lances hurts a little lol.
To add to this, the reason lances suck for magic builds is because flame lance is so bad (3 lower might and 3 more weight than levin sword). This makes Levin sword is the only good magic weapon to abuse power skills with. Since enemies generally have lower res than defense, this makes sword power levin sword the best weapon in the game.
That said a physical chloe build can work, but you can run physical builds on other units while using levin sword on chloe is one of her strong points. Especially since she can get sword power 3 before chapter 10 now thanks to the well.
This is such an impressive presentation, thank you for sharing and all your effort on this. WILD.

Don't know how cursed it is, but I'm actually pretty fond of warrior alear. In my runs she had enough build by the end that with lief she wasn't weighed down at all wielding brave axes, silver axes, and tomahawks but with the added flexibility of 1-3 range making it way easier to position her to get others in range of her personal skill. I also don't use the DLC tho, and I would imagine you probably just don't end up running him full stop with the DLC emblems.

4:10:02 IMO just use rescue or warp staff. Don't inherit repo just to move an ally 2 spaces when staves are already her thing and those do ally moving way better (and, if holding Micaiah, even more staff synergy.)
I personally like Divine Pulse, Canter, and/or Hold Out on her. DP gives her 100% success rate on her attacks and staves due to her 50+ luck, so IMO DP is almost mandatory.

Fun fact about dodge tank Yunaka: once you get pair up, put her next to an enemy with back-up. The enemies will try to attack her, thinking that the back-up will actually do something. So you can still have 0% chance of getting hit while tricking enemies into attacking you.
Also, Soren's Assign Decoy is pretty solid and gets 3 enemies to attack that unit no matter what (so long as they are within reach).

2:38:04 i’m just gonna cut in here to offer the suggestion of Mage Knight Lief for Lapis, now there is a whole hecking video breaking down how to accurately use adaptability on Lief, and I do need to rewatch that, but one thing that I can tell you is that Lief’s Engage attack all benefits from sword power, yes, each of the 4 hits get +10 damage each, Not only that, but her Magic growth looks Solid, so she might rock the Light brand too
Lapis is another unit that I never know what to do with, but that’s because I just never tried to look at what I can do with her, Paladin & Bow Knight both sound good with Sigurd though, less stressful XD
Honestly Lief might just be best on Alear for Engage+ 🤧
2:21:48 my problem with Yunaka was that she just never did damage, iirc reclassing Alfred into thief gives him a lot more Str than her at base, & he’s a better option since Thief can’t make use of her magic stat
Not only that, but she’s actually pretty easy to avoid stack since she comes before you first lose Marth
When it comes to Yunaka, I don’t have a solid answer, but some suggestions would be:
1) Mage knight to make use of her magic potential & mixed offense
2) Warrior, a decent class overall and could be played similar to a sniper build
3) General, for some team variety, boost to Def & Str, & being unbreakable so you could take more risks to set her up for Critting every enemy unit without worry
4) Mage Cannonier, I’m not sure if you can Crit with cannons, but she has a good dex Growth so should hit hard
& 5) Sword master, for Crit Run throughs, but her total growth would be 45 str right? Halberdier might be a good option instead, 50% Str, 40% Mag, & pincer maneuver for follow up attacks on possibly weapons too heavy for her to double with normally? I’d consider it~

1:37:57 Etie is a weird one I’ll say, I never know what to do with her, I could run a similar set to dagger Alfred with her being a “tank” unit so she could burn healing items on herself, but honestly I’m not fully sold on the idea
But unlike dagger Alfred & wolf knight Louis, if I make her a wolf knight, I’d want to run a defensive emblem on her, probably Hector over Ike, that way she could manually damage herself as well as lockdown an area for enemies from passing her, +Cav bonuses
Warriors already have access to longbows, which is my favorite weapon for them, so the bonus to rank doesn’t sound as tempting to me to want to go for,
Veronica is also my favorite emblem to put on backup units, but her reprisal skill is just a little against Etie’s personal skill so you can’t exactly get the best of both unfortunately, so yeah, i’d consider making a tank using Hector or Ike in something like Wolfknight XD
It’s so weird seeing someone optimize around maximum stats and post-game, rather than bases and growths for the main game.
Take Citrinne for example:
Sage is pretty clearly better in the base game, with more base magic, speed and build (and a better skill imo).
S staves is worthless because there’s one single-use S-rank staff in the game, and you can just give that to Hortensia. Entrap and fortify are nice as well, but there’s a limited supply of them too. Meanwhile, Nova is infinite use and benefits double from higher magic.
But in this framework, High Priest has better stats all around, other than magic and dex. Losing Nova is unfortunate, but the S-rank staff can be used repeatedly and it is very useful.

I'm honestly surprised you only had one unit classed as a Warrior, as that’s been the best class (that’s not exclusive to one unit) I’ve used in the entire game. Thanks to Longbow's hitting at 3 range, that makes them have the widest range for support damage without using Lucina's Dual Assist. Not to mention that as you can change what units hold without using their action in a turn, you can do a cool combo of; making them equip a longbow, do your attacks onto enemy units with other characters, then move your Warrior into position and equip an axe based weapon to fight during the enemy phase.
I can confirm that this provides good results, as I'm currently using Clanne and Panette both with Warrior, and they’re both currently stealing the MVPs on each of the maps they’ve been used on.
There are only two characters in the game without unique classes with a Bow innate, Etie and Anna. Considering Anna's Str compared to Mag it would be a major nerf to keep her in Warrior. As such there's no real reason to have anyone but the best character for the class in it, Etie, put anyone else in it and they can never wield weapons like the Silver Bow that she can; there's no purpose to putting multiple characters into a class if one is just going to be a worse version of the same thing and therefore most optimally benched. And what you described can be achieved the same using Bow Knight / Cupido, a class more characters have better options in in due to the diversity in weapon types boosted by innate proficiencies.

1) Using a Bow Knight in place of the Warrior requires the usage of Emblem Lucina in order to work the way I described, since the primary drive to Warrior is 3 range support attacks with the Longbow.
2) I won’t deny that Anna is optimally better off as a Mage unit, that does not mean she’s completely useless in her base Warrior class. The Radiant Bow is an incredibly effective weapon in engage, which Anna can use effective results.
3) Etie and Anna are definitely only units that can use Silver Bows in that class, that I can agree with. I'd argue whoever that the high attack units in Engage don’t need them, since they can use powerful axes to take out enemies in one hit. Take my Panette build for an example, I combine the Killer Axe with Ike's Wrath and her own personal skill to become a critical hit spammer, and her attack and speed is so good that the Longbow is more than enough to kill enemies from range if I'm barely out of range. I have also seen this build done on Amber of all units to high results, and I'm positive that an Etie with good level ups could perform too.
I apologise the late reply, as TH-cam gave me the notification 15 hours after you wrote that in the first place. I will admit that innate Proficiencies isn’t something I took into account while doing my run, nor will I deny that Warrior is a pretty restrictive class compared to Bow Knight which let's you choose the secondary weapon to bow. However support attacks are a primary key towards Engage's combat which provides chip damage that can wear down bosses and high defensive units, which Warrior provides along with the offensive force to act on its own.

The purpose of the sheet was to try and brainstorm the best potential for characters and classes, not anything that's usable during main game, of which there's pretty much no end of

BUT! he actually makes a pretty solid thief for the story, his bld does weigh him down too much, so switching to lighter weapons is honestly one of the best things you can do for him, his personal +2 Str helps balance out the low Mt of these weapons
One confection knife, engraved of course, would basically be his signature weapon on thief, the class also balances out his growths to basically all 50% so he’d be a well rounded unit too! Of any character to be turned into a thief, i’d say he’s one of your best options
I am also planning on messing around with wolf knight for the post game tbh, make use of both Daggers low Mt & his Lance boon, the only other character I’m planning on being a wolf knight is Louis as a more “mobile wall” kind of build (plus not getting wighed down by heavier weapons is kinda sick), just gotta get a feel for them both lol
2:26:16 Alcryst is definitely my favorite overall, I love his class & While Lyn is a great emblem option, might I also suggest Marth & Celica? :3c
With Marth, I believe Lordstar rush also has a chance to proc Luna each of the 7 hits, +Coverts get an engage bonus on Divine speed, where if their Extra attack lands, it poisons the foe
So if I’m correct, Alcrest can make 2 regular attacks with Marths swords or His bows, +1 attack at 50%, poisons the foe after combat, & he has a Luna chance all 3 hits throughout? Heck yeah, oh and break defenses work with divine speed, right? So it’s 4 hits on Axe foes? Hehehe >:3c
Celica is also fun for a different idea, Echo +Luna for a chance of doing extra damage against multiple foes, a little basic & underwhelming compared to above, but an echo Luna sounds fun to me X3cc plus he could make use of both Str & Mag bonuses for regular or the radiant bow~
I’ve also been tempted to make him a dagger unit for the same reason as Alfred, that boosted Str is pretty great for daggers~
Chrobin is also a good option 👀 Luna Levin swords at +10 Mag, Coverts also get +1 Mov so you have a semi Bow knight on the team!!
Getting Keen insight from Soren for +7 Damage might sound like overkill for an archer, but if you are gonna use an emblem with effectiveness (be it Falchion, or something engraved for armors, etc) then it’s a fun idea at least, it’s like Weapon sync but that only boosts Str, while this can boost Mag if you’re using a Mag weapon
I’d also suggest bravery/gentility over Lunar Brace, again because the damage boost could work for both Atk & Mag, but also I don’t think that takes the most advantage from Luna, Buuuuuut a Luna+ Solar Brace hit does sound fancy as heck to be fair, I like it X3c

Chloe is a great option most people use, and I did say in a different comment Boucheron is also a good choice 👀
But dang, so many swords!! DX Bow knight is a good option though, Sniper/Warrior maybe because of the hit bonus, 3H Emblem on warrior though 🤔
I personally really like Boucheron with Chrom, because the Robin Chain Attacks proc his personal skill.
MY Alfred build is Hector with Lifesphere, but instead of the abilities you recommended I would put either Unyielding or Book of Worlds. Both are very cheap and just add onto his "rush in a bait attacks" playstyle. Unyielding just keeps him alive and rolling for much longer (as a just in case) and Book of Worlds gets stronger every time he Waits, so after a few turns of baiting plebs into attacking he can then single out a uniquely strong enemy and heavily debuff it (it also self heals at level 4 and 5)
So for Alear with Corrin/Chrom and their magic boosts, this actually isn't that bad of a thing since Alear uses arts and arts uses the average of both strength and magic.
Also with the Marth and his Break Defenses ability you chose to have him on classes that already use Swords, so still limiting them to only part of the weapon triangle. what you should really do is put them on something like a Great Knight or Wyvern Rider that use Axes/Lances, and then when when you engage you can use all three types of weapons to destroy well over half the enemies you'll come across
I really appreciate your philosophy on variety, I know some of the royals would be better off in other classes, but it always felt wrong for a character to have an exclusive class and just NOT use it. Idc if Diamant rarely pops Sol, he's the only unit that has that skill, I'm GOING to build around it

Have you tried Alear with Eirika? Steel arts is better than other brave weapons for them because it is lighter and has +10 crit, so quadding with it will usually melt down the enemies, even wyrms. All it needs is one crit. Of course, any fast unit with Eirika is good, but I think that Alear is the best one with it because with their Divine Dragon skill and quadding, they will be Engaged most of the time. Also, Eirika is great for a tanky frontliner because of her defensive and recover skills so I think it is a waste to leave her for a backliner.
Also, Alear has an advantage over Martial Artists because they don't have such low speed cap like Martial Arist.
3:05:27 Jade is definitely an interesting unit, and while you did talk about Tiki’s Geosphere, I’m surprised you didn’t talk about Veronica‘s book of worlds, which does increasing amounts of effect the more you wait
Personally, what came to me was a Axe Hero set, maybe Hector, Ike, or Lucina. With Book of worlds, Geosphere, Gentility, or Pair up, so She could go out and Tank in a non tank class, heal herself, & overall attempt to be self sufficient
My Thief Alfred really showed how effective it it to just go out there & sit down lol, man, these Wait skills really make me feel the fact we only have 2 skill slots 🤧
Also, I know a few people like to make her a sage, & I’d also be tempted to look into high priest since she’d have a pretty decent defensive style, but that personal asks for something tanky & I’m not one to fight lol

I know sniper + radiant bow + Lyn is the speed run method, which is interesting, But I feel like there’s already enough competition for bows, and this gives her the option of gauntlets, which while is very minor, it’s utility option to break enemy ranged units for free, at least without costing a staff usage, +you can build the engage meter for free because of it, it’s a decent option
For Skills though, again I’d say bravery/gentility, +5 damage when using magic, & take 5 less damage when the enemy attacks (as long as you remember to use Night & Day)
You *could* also also be funny & try to boost her Gauntlets since her Mag is unquestionably amazing, so lunar brace + Brake defenses for shutting down & possibly killing enemy ranged units, Heck you could have *Her* be the Erika user to have both Lunar brace & Gentility on the emblem, so you could take brake defenses + what you already have listed, like Staff mastery, or Mag/Res +5, HECK ARMS SHIELD from Lief so you can total -10 damage basically from any ranged foe, & the Defensive gauntlets for -15 physical!! XDD DANG do I love this idea!! Thanks for the video, my brain juices are FLOWING!! X3c
Louis > Halberdier + Quick Riposte + Marth. Who needs speed when you have like 3 different abilities that give you extra attacks for free (Marth also has innate Unyielding, allowing Quick Ripote+ to almost always be active)

1:57:59 Celine actually has a lot of good options for emblems honestly 👀 I never noticed the Celica Str bonus, pretty good for mage knights probably, maybe gauntlets too but less likely XD
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Marth bonus though, which calculates using your Magic stat over your physical for Mystical units, which means Celine is the only unit who could use a Silver Blade for maximum magical damage!! Plus brake defenses is still good for her for Levin sword, or heck even a brave sword!! gotta build up that engage meter some how XD
Edit: She only has access to B swords??? I swear I used a brave sword on her before??? Dang, welp! The Steel Blade is cheaper anyway XD & Break defenses is still a decent option I’d say!!

I really wish FE would add some sort of post-game that was challenging enough to warrant min-maxed builds. The Fell Xenologue, trials, and recall battles just don't do it for me.
The value of Fog Breath is in the way that the fog appears outside of the damage area, so if you initiate on a dangerous group of 1-2 or 1-3 range enemies it allows your coverts to come in and mop up. Would be more relevant with more challenging enemies.
A modern fe with a post-game on par with sacred stones would be awesome

Honestly, I do consider any brave weapon build to be useful on him because of his personal, heck, again a dagger build would be nice for him since he can guarantee 2 damage on the foe for a guaranteed poison X3c
But I think my favorite build idea, would be using the Soren Bond Ring from Ike on mage knight for quad wind attacks XD, it’s definitely a silly idea, but of any magical wind quad unit, I think his personal is what makes him the best option for this, even if he doesn’t have the best magic growth, I’d spend the dusts on him, it feels like a worthy investment X3c
Now that I think about it, High priest would actually be a good option with Chrobin emblem, I mean the +10 magic boost for gauntlets & tomes, the backup attack meaning he’s always getting that +2 each hit, heck break defenses on him might just nuke any ranged unit tbh! You didn't consider Citrinne Nova S Rank tome use. Which is fine since it's availability is low but you mentioned maxing out units, a brave tome scaling off of the sage class with the highest mag cap, her only good stat, is impactful.
Engraving nova/thoron for the extra MT adds to her minmaxxing, then learning divine pulse+ for hit.
High priest does not do anything for her. She's gonna get one rounded by literally everything because her spd, hp, and defense is abyssmal. The defense scroll is not worth it in the slightest. Genuinely. S rank staff, worthless. Art access, worthless. You're placing way too much value on innate proficiencies.
Also, quick riposte on a squishy mage?? Who is she gonna be riposting?? Surely not any warriors, thieves, or heroes who could easily one tap her? Enemy phasing mages is not the way for Citrinne. But no riposte for jade, a literal tank?
tldr; sage citrinne better because mag minmaxxing + nova + cheap engrave + promotion bonus + cap = good. It's mostly minmaxxing but this is about Nova being a massive powerboost for citrinne.
This was a great video i liked it but a lot of you're things are not how i play but this has many good ideas so yeah swordmaster Anna is a bit wired never thought of that but why not mage knight you can ues magic sword better and more speed

I appreciate your content, but you based so much analysis around DLCs which invalidate the point of the video. DLC breaks the game intended balance and should not be used in any serious playthrough
