- Kavita Krishnan's decision to leave CPI(ML) after almost 30 years has brought her criticism and praise from various quarters. Why did she leave? Why now?
"We can't say well, one leader, one party, one ideology, one religion is bad, unless it's my religion, unless it's my ideology, unless it's a party that shares my name, unless it's a leader who is my leader," Kavita says.

It is not her opinions. Many of the communist have those opinions since long time. She is the voice of their opinions. This may ignite more debate in communist circles. She is fighting about inaccuracys and wrong tendencies entered in communism. The path of Marx, Engels ,Lenin ,Mao should be continued to undo pollution entered in Communist movement from old moribund history. Her debate upheld proletarian democracy in communist movement.

She hasn't come out of the ideological certitudes of the so-called left & right.Comparisons of Modi with Xi,Putin, Bolsenaro are far fetched.She is demonstrably biased towards the muslims & is yet to deeply understand the complexities of cultures in India! If ML won seats in Bihar, you can't assume ML groups elsewhere could find acceptance.The overriding challenge to all parties, including every ruling formation in our country,is centred on economy, control of price -rise,not communist academic confusions.

It took 30+ years for Kavitha Krishnan to realise how terrible Stalin was...Mao - the Cultural Revolution-two million people dying, Pol Pot - more than a million deaths from starvation or were killed. Just imagine the level of indoctrination, which not only shut off an intelligent, inquiring mind...but even today the ideology has her in its thrall.

A lot of people left congress recently. They aren't doing so bcz they suddenly woke up today. They did't leave bcz things are off, they left bcz no one wanted to change for the better and uphold the original or workable ideology that the party stood for. The same with her.
Anyhow Kavitha you are totally confused by your early days perceiving things in your own way without help. You should have at least consulted your parents. Nothing is perfect. Whoever is perfect in character, non corruptive who has intention to serve people without bribe should be your leader and the party. The glad news is you left communist party. Our Country does not need communism. Even with a social service unit we can well serve the community..! Another one whom i feel sorry for being in communist party is Vasuki.
