I remember when I was in Elementary and Highschool I was a member of a team in my schools with this sport (Sepak Takraw) we challenged a lot of opponents back then even playing in National Competition. My body back then was flexible and nimble as fck. So athletic, girls literally fell in love with me🤣 But, today I can't even pick up things on the ground because of my large tummy. 😂 Playing this sport need a lot of hardwork to master complex moves. We were champion 8 times in a row in highschool. Filipino here.
During the days that Takraw was made of "rattan" (cane), the players had sore feet, red knees and foreheads just from hitting the balls. So, bandanna was worn then.
i used to play sepak takraw back in my teenage days representing a club as a killer "striker" but have to quit due to an injury coz i landed wrongly and hard and twisted my arm. btw the net is about 5'8 feet tall and the ball is made out of "rotan or rattan" aka cane material that asian mums used to whip their children or criminal gets "caned" in prison. and yes it is damn painful when you try to block and gets hit. 😂😂

played that before, P.E. requirements. the ball is so fcking painful. it's a Rattan Ball made from Bamboo. basically a Wood Ball
