especially since you have to cut the adhesive between the glass and LCD. you can ruin the LCD so easily if you're not super careful or skilled like the person in the video

I feel ya. I was thinking of buying an S7 Edge with broken screen on eBay and replacing the screen. I've done that with S5, the broken phone + replacement screen are significantly cheaper than a phone with a screen in good condition, and you get a screen in brand new condition, not just good. On the S5 it's so goddamn easy. This is absolutely ridiculous, no way I'm condemning myself to this Herculean labor! Samsung probably made it a lot more difficult on purpose.

So I just tried to do this on a non-edge s7 but I ended up breaking the lcd. It is SOOO hard to get loose. I'm a noob at this, but trying to learn. In a repair shop situation, how many times do you typically break a screen before you "get the hang" of it? I'm guessing you have extra screens on hand in case this happens, and you just have to eat the cost of the part?

Can the T-7000 glue be removed in the future requiring the same amount of prying force? And is the phone still water resistant reusing the same back adhesive? If not would you recommend using the T-7000 for the back as well?
