- Restoration furniture!
This is about restoration furniture and refurbishing furniture! That means removing surfaces and applying new ones, renewing veneer, removing varnish, cleaning furniture, shellac polishing, shellac furniture restoration, applying new shellac and everything related to restoring furniture to make new from old! Furniture that might otherwise have ended up on the scrap metal!
👍These old pieces take so much work but they are much better than modern pieces. Thanks for showing us how it’s done.

It would be nice ( no pun intended) if you could give a bit more history about the piece and the wood or woods it’s made of. It is great to learn along side others about the kinds of woods and veneers used in the past. Furniture was generally better before MDF, or was it? Did the bad stuff just not survive? You would only get beveled glass in very expensive furniture now, for example.
It's a plain pine cabinet. I mentioned it somewhere though. Greetings

Hallo. Danke. Gerne. Würde ich dir gerne sagen, aber ich stehe gerade ein wenig auf dem Schlauch. Welche Zwingen meinst du? Die Einhandzwingen sind von Bessey. Findest du bei Amazon und auch fast überall anders im Nerz. Oder schreib mir mal die Zeitangabe. Dann kann ich dir genaueres sagen. Gruß
zu sehen sind sie bei 13.10, wo du das kleine Brett einspannst, bzw. ist es nur einer, der in das Loch für die Bankhaken gesteckt wird. VG Gabi

Es gibt sie aber auch günstiger. Gib mal bei Amazon, Hobelbank Spannelemente ein. Da werden dir einige Sachen angezeigt. Grüße

Hallo! Uhhh! Das ist nicht so leicht zu beantworten, zumal das auch mein erstes Projekt war! Kann dir da den Kanal empfehlen den ich bei mir in den Kanalvorschlägen drin habe! Tischlerarbeiten , von Lothar Jansen! Der erklärt es ziemlich gut! Den das würde hier als Antwort ziemlich den Rahmen sprengen! Lg Chris

Die Kurzform wäre jedoch, wenn ich die Möglichkeit habe zu kratzen und für schwere Stellen dann mache ich das! Da es das Objekt auch schont! Schleifen entfern natürlich auch immer Material vom Objekt! Muss man halt abwägen! Beize ist super für große Flächen aber auch immer gesundheitlich so , naja! Nach Herr Jansen gibt es da nur einen der gesundheitlich unbedenklich ist! Der Abbeizer von Meyer! Name ist Ba-uni! Lg
