A beautiful stadium in deed.
I hope they power wash that perimeter wall it's rotten.
@@sirbaconbutties7071 It’s also a legally protected listed building, so the club have to abide by Historic England and council instructions
@@sirbaconbutties7071 after they've power-washed your ass, dude.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 For the records. Listed consent don’t like clean walls so don’t be surprised if the walls only get a light brush down before stadium is open to the public.
That's another point in the bag for Everton F. C. They're gradually creeping up the league. 🏐🍀🇮🇪👍🏻C. F. C.
It is so so slow, FS!
Luckily it close in the table
Evertonians will now be counting down the days until this fantastic stadium opens. 🏐🍀🇮🇪👍🏻C. F. C.
The new stadium 🏟️ looks amazing and it gets better with every video Mr Drone. What a good point for you last night. I really hope that things are starting to fall into place for Everton. Keep the faith. UTFT. Best wishes, Graeme from Portsmouth. play Up Pompey.
Looks incredible thank you for all these amazing videos of the stadium can’t wait for it to be open
The Fourth Grace is stunning there on the river. I have never been to NY but people tell me it is breathtaking when you see the Statue of Liberty and the Skyscapers for the first time. I think the same will be true for the Mister Drone Stadium ( I am starting a petition OK?)
Is right Prescotian you have your second approval here 👏👏👏
Are you on drugs?
Thank you.
Great update Nick thanks
Pitch looks like it will not be long now, great vid as always, love it with the rays of the sun shining through the clouds onto the stadium, with the biblical music, gods an Evertonian.
Definitely going to miss these videos, Nick! 💙
Superb stadium and great video Nick
Awesome video as always Nick. I know you've mentioned you're not sure what you'll do post completion of the ground but have you thought about using your drone to take footage of Goodison Park as it goes through being demolished and its legacy on the site?
That is a great idea
Also quite depressing
@@DuncTheBlue1878 I agree Dunc but would be good for future records.
@@DuncTheBlue1878and boring. Why do we like to live in the past rather than look forward to our future? Is anyone arsed about the shithole the other side of stanley park?
Nice one, Nick. It is looking so clean now. Almost doesn't look real, like it's a model.
Great video again Nick. Nice to see that they've started work on finishing the benches protruding from the east stand, starting with the southern one. I had expected blue tiles, but they are clearly being clad in blue bricks. Maybe the top will be blue tiles. Should be nice anyway.
The blue face on the bricks is glazed, aka ceramics, which is the same as tiles. Footnote, look closely and you can see that they have used at least 3 different shades/colours of blue.
Top video mate thanks.
great vlog on channel nice cam angel thanks lee
Hi Nick great video, just something for your mid week fly round they have added lettering to the outer gates of the ground A-E. Not a feature of and real importance just a nice little pointer as to how closer the stadium is to completion. Thanks for your amazing work bring these great shots to us.
You are brilliant Kid0
Looking good nice stadium
Any idea what the dark patch in the corner of the pitch was? Thanks again for your continued great videos 👏🏻
Great progress again. North West corner of the roof already coated black. North Side road Ready to get tarmac. Boardwalk frame almost done. Not enough eyes to see it all. Good luck tomorrow 👍
Game is today, Jurgen 👍🏻
The flat concrete roof in the North West corner was screeded ages ago
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Yeah mistake. Because he recorded yesterday sorry bout that. But what do you mean, ages? I meant the flat roof everybody asks about. They started a couple of days ago and a small part looked done. What did I miss? Apart from some chromosomes 🤔😂😆🤣👊👍♥️
Jurgen: there'll not be any Tarmac applied to the North perimeter Vehicular route. It's all already Granite setts. Dunc is correct re the screed in the NW Plant Area.
@@davidbadcock2225 ages. Couple of days. Nevertheless thanx again
@@davidbadcock2225 and by the way. How will the north side road look like? Block paving as well? Let me know 👊
From 4:00 you can see some of the cladding on the eastern side of the south stand viewing gallery.
From 10:37 you can see the final ‘root zone’ layer being added onto the pitch, which will be seeded.
Next time Mr D, please can you zoom in on the area just below the lower executive boxes in the west stand? Where the black boards are being added for the very posh seats. Thanks 👍🏻
I second a really good close up. I can see what looks like pairs of columnar base plates for the Executive Seats on those terraces.
@@davidbadcock2225 Those seats will have their own personal TV screens. I expect the black panels to have EFC blue cladding attached
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Dunc & David great question guys.
If you watch other You Tubes shwong extension, replacement stands of Premier League grounds, they just don't match up. This stadium is a whole stadium concept. So many grounds are now hotchpots where the stands don't marry or ilke Leiceste's plans for their main stand that will dwarf the rest of the ground. Anfield has a disarray in its rebuilt stands Goes to show that the RS can't build new stadiums from scratch!
Definitely the best stadium in the Premier league.
👍👍
Nick. Think you should start zooming in more trying to highlight the detail of finishing outside.
The one problem with the location is that it cannot be located directly in front of Birkenhead and the town where the greatest ever goalscorer was born!
The wools from Wallasey have a great view lol!
Enjoy watching your updates doing a great job . Do you know if there’s any disabled parking spaces or is here any plans to provide any ?
Perfect for the championship
Another jealous Kopite. Have you watched a game in the Hole Punch yet? I doubt you can afford the flight.

Great video again as always. Apologies if this has already been asked but will the concrete roofs of the cuboid section be covered? In previous images before construction they were covered in a dark grey which looked amazing (waterproof membrane?)
I must say it all looks to me like it will be quite a bit tight down the sides and to the rear, particularly people leaving at the same time.
Thank you for the great videos. Can I ask does anyone know what is being layed between the filled in water on the west stand and the newly paved area. On the weekly fly over video it's around the 6 minute mark. What is ever is being done is coloured black and from the air looks like a ladder effect laying on the floor. Wondered what it's for? Thanks
It would be interesting to see what happening within the hydraulic tower. Any access recently?
It should be a prison for any kopites who sing any songs
Hi Nick. Could you take a closer look at the old dock wall on the East Plaza. Particularly the area around the hydraulic tower 👍
When this stadium is opened to the public, will this be the most complete stadium?
Usually, clubs rush to get them open and there is still quite a lot of bits to finish, but as Everton aren't rushing, will everything be finished.
Also, when are the trial events expected to be held?
When I visited Brighton new ground (very impressive) I had a corner seat. There was a jcb next to me.
Safety test events will probably be in the spring. The stadium will be handed over to EFC in November and there’s still a lot more work to do inside and installing Everton Way (fans’ personalised stones). First league game August 2025.
I really hope they do renovate the surrounding areas it’s a bit spoilt with plants and warehouses surrounding it imo. Not great travelling atmosphere.
If you travel south from the Albert Dock, that area is much improved from the way it was before the Albert Dock and Liverpool One regeneration. Before that it was just like the area around Bramley Moore.
I think the regeneration at the North End will be much quicker than it was in the south, it's still going on.
Expect to be surprised over the next couple of years. The South End looks nothing like it did just 10 years ago.
Search for Peel’s Liverpool Waters development and you’ll see what’s planned between BMD and the city centre

Quick question. Without David’s I’ve said this a thousand times 😂 with regards to the West Plaza, how are team coaches supposed to pull up at the centre of the plaza in good weather? Even the best coach drivers in the world could exit via the SW corner. Do they have to reverse back towards the north stand and exit via the NE corner security gate?
First of the blue tiles going in on the seating area in front of the east stand
They’re actually blue bricks. Tiles not installed yet 👍🏻
David: indeed. The blue face on the bricks is glazed, aka ceramics, which is the same as tiles. Footnote, look closely and you can see that they have used at least 3 different shades/colours of blue.
@@davidbadcock2225 your correct David and they look so good.
I hope someone hasn’t forgotten about that tiny pallet of material on the middle of the East stand 😁
Looks like snow.
😊
Good detail Nick, doesn’t look like enough room for the coaches to get down behind the north stand and in front of the West Stand! Do they still intend that or are they putting team coaches in the service entry of the North Stand?
The northern access road is 5.5 metres wide at its narrowest point. Premier League buses are 2.55 metres wide. It’ll be fine 👍🏻
is that final layer of soil they have started to put on the pitch??
Yes, Then the seeding will start 👍🏻
Yep, final root zone layer
Is there any update on the parking situation or Club advice on how to get to the ground? It just seems it’s going to be a dogs dinner getting there from any direction.
Nick did another video talking about parking.
That last glass piece South East corner still not in. Have they got the piece or have they forgotten it?
I’m sure they have not forgotten about it
I’ve seen it under the south stand. Been there for ages waiting to be fitted
I believe that it didn't fit and the company that made it have gone bust, I'm sure that it will be sorted soon.
All LoR staff will know it's still outstanding as they must all be reminded daily as they look directly at it when they come out of the Offices Block, for starters. they will have the piece, somewhere.
Nick . Where u say that the team bus will be driving through . I drive a bus and it doesnt look very wide to drive a bus through or is it being seen through drone camera deceiving me ? Great work btw. Derek efc fan in cork ireland
The northern access road is 5.5 metres wide at its narrowest point. Premier League buses are 2.55 metres wide. It’ll be fine 👍🏻
Nick, if I remember correctly from the initial piccies and the introduction made by the designer, The word EVERTON was lit up on I am guessing the South windows. Is this still going to happen?
I don't think it will be, mate. It was just part of the initial designs, and Dan Meis said at the time t was a 'placeholder'. Personally, I thought it looked a bit tacky and out of step with the rest of the design. Whether it will be replicated with some kind of lighting effect, I don't know, but I think the heritage aspect of the site prevents any fixed large scale branding like that shown on those original designs. All about opinions, but it's the right call for me.
Colin is right, there won’t be an Everton sign in that south stand window because they removed it from the final approved plans
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Dunc: it was never IN the plans. They were only ever visualisations, which means they had artistic licence. The approved plans DO have the whole windows areas allocated for potential illuminated signage and we shall have to see what they actually decide for the customisation, naming right or not. Personally I hope they go for subtle and not brazen but I do need to stress that the plans do allow for signage in the windows.
Cremy: There are plenty of locations identified in the Approved Plans for branding (illuminated signs) which include the windows, the brick facades, the barrel-cladding, and the West Terrace side-walls. There is probably also some imagery that will be applied to the North Perimeter and Mersey Wall security fences and the Wind Baffles, never mind the flags, banners and screens. All of these locations will be dealt with as part of the EFC customisation after LoR have completed.
Having said that, we can't know exactly how it will all look until EFC are satisfied with the result of the Naming Rights project.
Personally, I hope they keep it all fairly subtle rather than "in your face". This ground is unique and clearly identifiable so it should not need much extra to make it 'tipping the hat'.
@@davidbadcock2225I second your comment David 👏👏
Do we have 2 tunnels one for us and one for the away team
No. The players tunnel is in the west stand on the half way line. The tunnel in the north west corner is for vehicles e.g. emergency access 👍🏻
I'm sure this would have been answered in previous videos, but is the old pump house building going to have any functional use? Great video as always btw 😃👍😃👍
I believe it will form part of the east plaza fan zone and have a bar inside
Won’t be a bar. The club are yet to confirm but the Hydraulic Tower will probably have a small museum and cafe
Friedkin could literally decide to have that as his personal office or whatever he decides.
@@DarrenCowzer-cx7ot 😆. Are you bestowing him the "Freedom of Toyota Stadium", oops, I mean Bramley-Moore?
@davidbadcock2225 - so long as he brings back the good times, he can certainly have the freedom of BMD David 😂😂😂
David or Dunc the blue, do we know what seagull deterrent the stadium will have in place for seagulls nesting. These shitehawks are protected and my previous experience is they can lay 6 eggs through out a season two on 3 occasions which could become a major issue ?
On one of the other droner’s vids a few weeks ago, I could see a man with a hawk on the south east corner flat concrete roof. He was waiting for the drone to land before releasing the hawk. Shitehawks hate hawks.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Yeah Dunc we have employed the same method within the city to stop them nesting. Seems the only and best way. 👍
Thanks Nick, quality right there, do you know if there are any plans to relocate Dixie's statue from Goodison, (I asked SS) and if so to where exactly? Enjoy the game, and keep up the great work.
No plans at the moment to move the statues - they’re staying where they are
Thanks Dunc - maybe later, let’s see 👍🏼
@@SteveBoyle-u5j it was a conscious choice by the club to leave the statues etc. in place. Part of leaving the clubs legacy at goodison and not abandoning L4. I don’t think they will be moving unless there’s a change of mind. Which I’m fine with personally.
Thanks Eddie
@@eddie_1878 Fans are split on this topic. I’d love to see Dixie moved to the west plaza terrace, facing towards his home town on the Wirral
Great video went it's Finnish can u walk around the ground went no game on
Yeah 👍🏻
Hi Nick, just wondering if you know whether they've tested the floodlights at night and what it looks like. I don't recalled seeing any videos of it fully lit up but I might be wrong.
John: no full testing yet. It's not just a question of whether they come on or not as that can be tested easily unit by unit. If you pause for thought on this, the time for testing them properly and auditing the flux levels all the way across the pitch, will mean they have to locate sensors across the whole area. They won't be able to do that properly until the pitch is laid and well bedded in and there is no equipment "in the light".
Great vid at per Nick. I am right in saying the capacity cannot be increased through any of the stands being built up further, such as another tier being added on top? It's just any capacity increase made possible by standing areas within the current blueprint?
The only way capacity can be realistically increased is if the government change the law on safe standing (i.e. 3 fans standing per 2 rail seats). Highly unlikely though.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Thanks Dunc, the capacity debate has been done plenty of times but I do think it's a shame that we're pretty much capped out from the start
@@michaelb1716 Yep, should be 60,000 when you consider there are 35,000 on the season ticket waiting list. But, apparently, this is the stadium size Moshiri could just about afford
how long till the hand over?
12th November, apparently. Probably late November, we’ll have to wait and see. Still lots to do inside
Where will the players coaches and supporters coaches park up. Also where will they enter the complex?
Team buses will enter via the northern access gate, drive under the north stand overhang, take a left in front of the west plaza terrace, and drop the players off at the middle entrance under the terrace (on sunny days). When the weather is bad, the buses will drop the players off at the north tunnel entrance under the west plaza terrace (north west corner of the stadium). Buses will park on Regent Road and adjoining streets north of the stadium.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Thanks Dunc 👍
As an Everton fan who doesn't live in UK and has only seen the drone footages, I have a question...
What is the significance of the brown (timber?) uprights which appear to be randomly spaced all around the stadium?
Is it just a design feature or does it represent something?
Do you mean the brick cladding?
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Is it cladding? The light brown vertical columns on each side of the stadium.
Why are they different widths with different size gaps between them? It seems very random and the first thing that came to mind was that it looked like a barcode.
Surely it's meant to mean something or to represent something?
@@thewildgoose7467 It’s brick cladding to mimic the Tobacco Warehouse. A requirement of Historic England and the council
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Oh okay, I knew that it couldn't be just random. Thanks for the info 😉
What are they going to do with the roof of the building not the stand roof where it’s grey concrete need to be be black to match the rest of the black
They will apply dark grey screeding sealant to the flat concrete roofs. It’ll be one of LoR’s last jobs - probably late October or early November 👍🏻
Are they just going to leave that concrete area bare behind the cinema area in the west stand .
I think the wealthy spectators will be able to stand there (with their glasses of champagne)
@@DuncTheBlue1878 fair enough,I'm hoping there going to do a really good job with the finishing touches.at the moment it looks a mess with all the exits, access areas, stairways.i can't believe they haven't left the south stand untouched.
Will there be a 'Grand opening ' event ?
Safety test events in the spring.
‘Grand opening’ = first game of the 25/26 league season in August
Who knows what might happen when the 'Mercans' take a grip? The first match might be pre-empted by a Cheerleaders extravaganza, Leo DiCaprio and stuntmen in action and Dan Friedkin making a fly-past of the West Quay of the Toyota Stadium in a Spitfire. 😉

is all that roof fencing necessary and is it permanent ? looks a show imo and completely unnecessary
Great shots as usual but - for me - too many clunky chops in the editing
whats are all the black rails on west stand by dock?
Assume you mean at the bottom of the west plaza terrace next to the water channel. They’re supports for the decking 👍🏻
The black structures inserted on the West Concourse Lower Promenade, which juts out into the Water Channel, are for Composite Decking that'll mimic wooden decking.
That oil spill needs addressing MDHC and the Environment Agency
There are similar ones in the United Utilities Dock in a few spots, where the heavy rain appears to have washed the oil off the various dock walls.
Is there a reason why the pattern on the barrell cladding is more irregular on the East Stand?
Yes. The air exhaust vents number and location is dictated by where the extractor fans are. The main west stand has more hospitality and, therefore, more extractor fans and air exhaust vents than the east barrel cladding
Just feel imbalance.
Beautiful stadium for an absolute bum team
Stadiums are permanent, teams can change
What's the point of those trees?
Look good, provide shade, absorb pollutants and carbon dioxide, provide shelter from the wind, absorb rain water, and provide some habitat for wildlife. Liverpool has one of the lowest number of trees compared to other UK cities, so the council were keen for trees to be included as part of the planning permission.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Moonshine. There are not enough of them to be either use or ornament. All they'll do is drop leaves and and sticky residue that'll make a black mess on the paving - not to mention obscuring the view of anyone wanting to actually look at the stadium.
