My dad owned one. It was an 85 that he got in a trade for some guns and 350 bucks. He got it home tried kicking it but the decompression cable was broken. He got it running and he rode it until it ran out of gas.
@@levihill9052 lol is right, my two grown sons already have their eyes on them. I think they would shoot me lol. I did tell them they have to wait until I can't ride them anymore.
@@levihill9052 If you want to see what they look like look up '350x fun', it's just some still shots so another rider could see them. And it never hurts to ask lol.
NICE VIDEO. i've always found it easy to describe "How to ride a three wheeler" An ATC is a bike with an extra wheel on the back. If you forget the "Bike" part and think you are riding a quad. It will only be too happy to remind you in short order that it is not a quad. Ive only recently purchased an my first atc. However I never turned down an opportunity to ride my brother's ATC. If you watch a snowmobile take a corner at Eagle River it is similar to an ATC.
I have a 85 350x in my collection I love it grew up trail riding as a kid in the late 80s early 90s definitely one of the coolest machines I've ever owned.
You make some great shows, for future topics, three I would like to see would be 1. the demise of the trikes (reasons why and what laws were passed) along with the then horrifying footage of dozers crushing rows of new trikes. I would also love to see one on both the KTM 300 2 stroke design and models, and also something on the 380 which I hear was a good engine. Have you done anything on the Maico 440? I used to have one of those, was given it by an Austrian who used to race it.
Good job man, while I had the 250R, my cousin had both the 200X and the 350X. While the 250R was a little funner to ride, I did not realize the 350 had such a light frame. You summed up how people see them quite well.
That was great I always wanted to get a 350X it is a great shame that the government outlawed them a lot of it had to do with just stupid peopleit would be cool if you could do one of these on the Odyssey we had one of each a 250 350 and 400
I have a couple 86 200x I can ride pretty dam good. Never got to ride a 250r as I imagine that was a completely different animal. It seems the 350x isn't to much faster than a 200x from alot of people I talk to. Still I haven't had the chance to ride one of them either.
My cousin had one, took it sorta diagonel up a hill, put my foot down rolled over it got trapped couldn't move can't believe I didn't break my ankle. No way would I jump one. I thought it had good power.
I've ridden dirt bikes in all kinds of places and conditions for 50+ years.....I am beat up but value my body more than to ride one of these contraptions. I've seen way too many people permanently disabled by three wheelers. Junk.
I have had lots of broken bones on MX bikes & road bikes but never one on any of my Trikes.Older & Wiser these days.Number one.Don't race them.Just enjoy them for what they were ment for.
@@idi0televisi0n You and I can handle them but too many parents use 3-4 wheelers as a babysitter with zero supervision. I've seen one set of parents bury their 9 year old(crushed chest and smothered) and another set of parents have a quadraplegic son. I come from a town of less than 15,000 people, probably less. I'm sure, Clint, that you and I both know our limitations. I found my limitations....I've got 6 screws and 2 rods in my back and I'm 74 and still riding. Have a good day, Ace.
I have a 86 350X myself.Honda Excelled themself with this design. It goes and looks as good today as when brand new.
In the snow they are right at home, perfect for riding around the neighborhood

You absolutely summed it up perfectly when it comes to the three wheeled ATV.
I've got a pair of 350x's, one of each year, love riding the beasts. Great review.
Thanks! 👍
Wanna sell one of them? Lol

Fantastic review on the mighty 350X! Everything was spot on and I couldn't have said it better myself! I have 5 and cherish them to this day.
Easily one of the coolest machines of the 1980s

as a 200x rider, I love seeing this video shortly after i found your channel, great content, cheers man
This was a great video from start to finish. Thank you for sharing.
Long live the 350x!

Thanks for watching!
Had an '85 350X. Slightly modded and it was a MONSTER!! Now I can't afford one. So I bought an '84 250R. Fast and fun, but not the same.
It’s insane people want 4-5k for something you couldn’t give away 10-15 years ago
Can you please do a review on the Suzuki LT 500

Let me see if I can dig up enough info and I will try and put something together.

Hey Tony B,,,, everybody safe and healthy by you,,, just checkin in
Yes thankfully all of us are doing very well thank you for asking.

I have thought about that but absolutely I can do one

These things were so hard to turn. 4 wheelers made a lot more sense.
Having both 200x and 350x had to sub.
THANK YOU!

1985 was a 5 speed, 86 was a 6 speed.

Some people just can't ride them. A good person knows their limitations
