Very nice Michael! Your wc books and palette look very nice but I make my own 8 x 10 and 10 x 14 hardbound wc and pastel books to open flat and even my palette. But I can enjoy your paintings just as much. I would love to see your large compositions even just a glimpse. Take care.😊

Hey Alison! The paper in my new sketchbook is Saunders Waterford Cold Press 300 gsm (which is 140lb). I do you tape on it as you can see, for aesthetic as well as structural purposes. The sheet fixed by the tape doesn't buckle which is important. Also, for this version of the sketchbook, I have updated the binding, so it should hold together nicely. Hi Rashmi, in this video you see the whole process, including the paper wetting. I never do watercolor on a completely dry sheet, though. Water is in the name :)
