Pozz svim Slovencima iz Hrvatske ,dvije najljepše zemlje Europe !!! Jako lijep video ,volim gledat ove ljude ,lijepo su nas predstavili s jako lijepim videima !
Greetings to our Slovenian brothers from Poland! 😉 I got hungry watching those delicious foods and I'm definitely going to visit Your beautiful country one day! Cheers! 😉
It's really interesting seeing my country from a tourist perspective, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Next time you should go around the north west part, there are a bunch of waterfalls and our green river Soča
Guys just wanted to add I been to Slovenia many times and I have to say it’s impossible to get a bad meal there, I’ve been to the most remote towns in Slovenia and the quality is still 1st class. Actually there is a world class restaurant near postona which the chef was voted best female chef in the world, food up there with Heston’s
That's interesting to know about the remote locations as well, amazing! We were told about that female chef award on our tour actually, sounds like she's done an incredible job to pick up that award
Ana Roš is the chef, Hiša Franko is the restaurant and Kobarid is the town ;) but the reservation wait is usually at least a few months, maybe even up to a year...
So much to comment on! Beautifully filmed, cleverly edited to pack in so much information and still get across what an idyllic day you guys spent. The cuisine looked world class - right up there with the best. A couple of stand outs for me were the amazing chocolate dessert at the first stop - it sounds like it tasted as good as it looked. Orange flavouring with chocolate, if well done is always hit for me. The other stand out was the stuffed calamari. I love calamari but this sounded on the next level. Oh, not forgetting the fish spread - I really liked the idea of it being packed with chunks of fish. Epic vlog even by your high standards!!
Sounds like you’re a seafood man! Some amazing seafood options on the day which was a nice change from previous tours. This one is definitely one of our favs as well :)
Hello! I've been to Slovenia only once, and that was long ago (around 2006). But even back then I was stunned by the beauty of Ljubljana and the rest of the country! By the way, the food seen in this video is simply gorgeous 😋. Greetings from the North of Italy :)
It is really nice seeing people discovering our country and the beauty of our country, because slovenia is really small and not known for that much...so this means a lot to us, that you like our country❤️
New subscriber here! :) Seeing a current TH-cam video about Ljubljana (city I went to University in) made me watch all 3 parts of it in a row. Such nostalgia even tho I only moved out of Slovenia less than a 1,5 year ago. Glad you enjoyed it, I will make sure I follow your new videos as well, see where the road takes you and hopefully get some inspiration for my future trips. - You are both lovely, enjoy the rest of your trip!
Glad you followed along for all 3 vids - we loved our time! Hoping we can return next year to explore further. Thanks for following along with the new videos as well.
I hope you do get a chance to visit Slovenia again. There are sooooo many beautiful lakes (Bohinj, Bled), rivers (Soča), caves (Postojna, Škocjan) and castles (Predjama) in such a small country. :)
We do get that feedback often actually, always trying to include them when we can! Glad you were digging this one anyway, we actually really love this video ourselves
It's so interesting watching your country being reviewed from a tourists point. I'm relly happy you enjoyed the meal, Inka looked like she was the best tour guide you guys could get and I hope you decide to come back and explore more of Slovenia (like Celje,Postojna,Maribor ext.) !
Well the typical Balkan food is mainly in Serbia and Bosnia, but Slovenia has a combination of that, seafood and Austrian/Italian cuisine, as it was influenced by them all.
as austrian i have to say when i'm in slovenia i feel like at home, the people are very similiar to austrians, also folk music, the mountans, lakes etc. slovenias are more related to italy and austria, then to the balkans, and btw slovenia is not balkan! no doubt its on of the most beautiful countries in europe.
Excellent video, Dane&Stacey, you really stand out in the flood of travel vlogs... Really well filmed, "scripted" and edited... Looking forward to your next videos :)
That looked like an amazing day of food, wine, beer, and "Medicine"... ;) No wonder about the food coma... Totally didn't feel like ~13 minute vlog...! (Well paced & edited) Anyone tuning out after 5 minute will miss a lot...! Something else to add to my trip idea, thank-you...
Love the fact they drink medicine for 'health' haha, so good. Thanks for the comments re pacing and timing, will see if more people tune in for longer this time :)
I can't say no or pause my self to our (Slovenian food) either. Now I can tell my family that tourrists in our country get me, because it really is that good. ✔👍
Oh heck, I really need to figure out what is going on with my notifications! All morning I have been waiting and NOW I just notice your new video.... Sheesh.... Oh, ja, excuse my manners or lack thereof! GOOOOOOOD MONDAYYYYY MORNINGGGGGGGGGGG!
I couldn't help but see the older couple you were with. Do you know them? Were they friends of you guide? The food looked great, although I don't think I could try the fish tartare. That sound like raw fish and the only things I eat raw are fruits and veggies. Keep up the good work and have fun. Your vlogs just keep getting better and better.
Aah, Romantika... I really hoped I'd see Vigò :) Next time you should definitely go to Vigò for ice cream. The flavors and consistency of the ice cream will blow you away. Best (for)ever here in Slovenia!
Haye gays ,Im croatian from zegreb and I am going to Slovenia every week. Land is beautiful and food and wine is fantastic. Ljuböjana is fency but can fine extra-delicious food in small town or even villages in country side, call-"okrepcavalnica ".But you need local guide for that. 👌 for neighbors
It looks amazing there such a relaxed vibe. Are you filming there during the week it seems so quiet. Did you do a food tour in Prague? I see you did a beer one 😊
5:45 😁When I was a kid and there was something wrong, "Take a shot of this" was the first order, either by mom or grandma. Headache, high fever, broken leg,... didn't matter much!
Love your videos. I'm a fan. Also, you have some of the best b-roll in the vlogger game. Nice work. So for these food tours, how much do you typically tip?
We’re thankful for your support! Tips can vary based on the country and person, in Europe tipping isn’t really that common anyway, especially on paid trips. But 10-15% is normalish.
@@DaneAndStacey what a diplomatic answer. you guys are awesome :D i grew up in the north part of Croatia 10 mins from the Slovenian border. :) Well, there are historic reasons for that. Croatia is a melting-pot of few different cultures. Nice selection of food/beverage for you both to try! I have to say most of the dishes you tried are also found in Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Are you heading back that way again or are you done with travel there?
We did notice a lot of similarities actually, loved it all! We're back in Croatia now, sitting on a boat near Dubrovnik on a 8 day tour - videos to come veeerrry soon!
We just got lucky with the tour! First one weve ever done and had that few, normally more like 8 or 10 people. The fishy one was chunky and delicious though, promise
We usually eat those sausages with sauerkraut and mashed potato, hope i spell it right. I add some mustard too..but never horse raddish. I must try. Cheers
@Daneger and Stacey, nice video, but... I am Slovenian and i can tell you thet you ate very fancy food that you get in Ljubljana and other major cities.
