DuckTales Remastered Walkthrough Part 3 - Transylvania - Count Drakula Duck's Coin of the Lost Realm

- Walkthrough of DuckTales Remastered played on the Nintendo Wii U. This video shows the second selectable stage called 'Transylvania'. In this stage we set off to find the Coin of the Lost Realm. This adventure takes us to Draculesti Manor, the home of Drake Von Vladstone AKA Count Drakula Duck. In order to get this coin, we have to defeat the boss of this stage, Magica De Spell.
I always enjoyed DuckTales on the NES as a kid and couldn't get enough of the TV series so I am quite excited to play this version of the game. The original DuckTales on the NES had some of my favorite video game music tracks in it.

This game is an absolute Masterpiece. It cant be understated how great it is.
my goodness magica's dialogue is epic beyond belief. She is the best character in the game hands down

And she was almost 100 years old when she voiced this game!

Magica De Spell is teh awesome. I wish they'd give this remake treatment to Chip and Dale and to Darkwing Duck.
I love Alan Young and June Foray are still voicing these characters even when they are in their 90s.

Scrooge is able to fend off against a she-witch who can turn into a bird, fire beams and hide in mirrors armed with only a CANE 😂😂

Young me was terrified of this level cause of how the mummy ducks looked when you unwrapped their bandages.
Y'know Scrooge is a pretty irresponsible parent-figure. What with dragging a group of grade-school kids/ducks into a ghoul infested castle of evil etc.

Rem Lezar I blame the kids’ parents who never appeared in the series. They all probably died. And Scrooge obviously has no parenting skills, since he never had children of his own.

While in the nes version you din't have to save kwik ,kwek and kwak and you also can skip most parts but here you must rescue those kids and get trough all parts to get progress to the boss.

Wow! I think I remember seeing the Transylvania stage when I was little. BTW, I think I noticed something: A preview of the NES version had crosses on coffins in the Transylvania stage (as shown in the "NES Official Strategy Guide"). However, Nintendo of America had to bowdlerise the stage so that the coffins now say "R.I.P." on them in the final version of the game. I remember that one. BTW, it's kinda hard to make out the descriptions on the coffins in this one because of mostly darkness. :?

This is a classic game from the NES years the game was released in 1989 then re-released as a 2.5D game this year. Capcom, Disney, and WayForward are the best company ever to do this. SEGA is remaking a game with Mickey Mouse and it is the same game on the Genesis. It is not Mickey Mana

Ya know what I've always wondered? Why does Magica need Scrooge's Number One Dime in the first place? How is one specific dime gonna help her conquer the world?
Oh god, I actually know the answer to this. It's because it was the first dime Scrooge ever made. The dime is "lucky" (like, magically lucky) and without it, Scrooge would lose his fortune. Magica wanted it for the dime's magical properties.
Yeah, it's a lucky dime. When scrooge loses it, he loses everything. I used to watch the cartoon all the time as a kid.
That, or she knows something about the dime that Scrooge doesn't. Perhaps it contains an ancient power. Perhaps a Ducktales 2?
In the comics she needed the coin for the "Madias Touch" spell which would grant her instant wealth and fortune.

So many hearts, this game seems a bit easier on Wii U ... I am playing this on PC and there are not that many hearts :/ Although only the boss in this level is beating me all the time, not the rest of the level ^^
In easy mode you also have unlimited lives
