- In this episode, Sonia and I decided to explore Monkey Town in Somerset West, a place close to home which Sonia had never visited before. Our experience was absolutely delightful. The primates, birds and other animals were all thriving and clearly well cared for, which was heartening to see. Spending time with them was incredibly special and enjoyable, especially when we had the opportunity to feed the smaller monkeys, which gave us a newfound appreciation for their adorable personalities. We ended off our morning outing with a light lunch at Hoogeind Manor Cafe, which was another pleasant experience. Visiting Monkey Town turned out to be a fantastic decision, providing us with a memorable and enriching experience. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #travelongravel #monkeytown #somersetwest

Thanks so much Sonja and Curtis taking us along with you so close and personal with the animals.❤
The closest we have to a Monkey Town here in NZ is our Parliament House in Wellington ! What a great job those people are doing looking after those monkeys. Curtis could have bribed that monkey with a piece of fruit to hand over the adapter that he stole. In the end it was good to see that Curtis managed to get his adapter through the wire with the help of that stick. I was expecting a monkey to wee or poo on Curtis or Sonia. Fortunately they did not. Thanks for an entertaining visit.
Another wonderful episode. Sonia: your excitement is wonderful to share. And I wish you the best in your recovery with your knee issues. I hope and pray for it be speedy and complete. Your inhalations of joy and surprise are wonderful! And the animal interactions towards the end were lovely. Well worth the extra R80, in my opinion. I am very glad that you managed to retrieve your cable, Curtis.
Another very informative video. Thank you for taking the time and I'm over the moon Soni is getting out and about....pushing a wheelchair is hard work. Thanks Curtis you a great example and very caring to wifey. Well you got me all eyes now...wonder what's next...👍👍👏👏👍👍 stay safe❤🎉❤
Curtis and Sonja thanks a million. You are such a breath of fresh air. Curtis you are such a gentleman and so respectful towards Sonja. I used to make comments under my daughters name Simone Mason. I am 68 but in many ways still a kid. Wherever you may roam its marvelous.
Thanks for another informative visit to a place I didn't even know existed in Somerset West.

Thanks for another awesome video. It is evident that these animals are well cared for and loved.
Thankyou this was beautiful and tool me back many years. I had a monkey which I raised when the mother was shot and he was still pink . He was running free and had the run with all the animals on the farm. He slept in my arms at night and he was so mischievous was never on a leash so yes he was like all my other pets but free
I am so glad that you did monkey town its so lovely to see all the monkey, chimps and others l enjoyed it very much. ❤

Hi,your trips are educational thanks for taking time out to travel an show us our beautiful country :)
Hi Curtis Sonia and Dusty, this was a fun visit indeed. We often pass by monkey town, on our travels over Sir Lowry's Pass, now I know all about the fun time to be had, safe 🥾❤
I went to this place last year.
Driven past there a lot but never been. Very Interesting. I could never understand people having a monkey as a pet, so cruel. I skipped the part where you show the snakes...that is one reptile I am just very afraid of..
So sad to see poplap the parrot cage up
Shame i love parrots and poplap needs an a owner that will spent time wth her
