How to flatten mousepad / Fix Deformed Mousepad. > i will add my experience to this, the idea behind the video is simple, it works... but here is how you guys have to do so if you want the results.
materials:
1. iron
2. a sheet of paper
3. deformed mousepad to fix
step one:
preheat the iron on level 2 for about a minute or so, then place the piece of paper on the area to be treated. carefully start ironing the surface BE CAREFUL NOT TO GO OUT OF THE PAPER SHEET'S SURFACE OR YOU'LL BURN YOUR MOUSEPAD. and go back and forth, it took me about 15 to 20 minutes (both sides) and it really did it for me, you don't want to be quick with it, it takes time for rubber to relax and go back to it's initial form (without burning it). one thing i noticed is that it really worked better when staining the rubber side of the mousepad, since the rubber is the one holding the bent shape, still... staring on the top face will do good too so you can cover both, if during the process you see it needs more work, then you can put a little more time to it, but eventualy you can get it done before an hour, mine wasn't that deformed, but is just a matter of time and patience, and you get it done. so +1 like to the video for the idea :D

I've had a mousepad about 1 1/2 years ago and got a mousepad from all different companies that I givin from a career fair and never used it and let it sit bent

step 3: cover mousepad in boomer text editor
step 4: heat mousepad with corporate shirt straightener
step 5: profit

Same just try to flatten it by putting as many books as possible for 12 hours,I would recommend more

heat it up with an iron and place books on it the rubber will get soft and stretch the area so its flat and the placr the books and let it cool down for 10 minutes

@@rohzn7 i bought a new mouse pad xxl size and it wasn't flattened at the top left corner which was really pissing me off so now i placed about 10 books on it and it's been almost a day but I'm gonna keep the books on it for atleast 2 days bc i tried placing books for about 6 hours it didn't worked that well so now i placed more books and I'm gonna take them off after 1 day since then I'm gonna be using my old mousepad which is extremely deformed bc i washed it so i had to buy a new mousepad..
