Yeah that's always what i've noticed as well. Unlike most HoN or LoL players I actually do play both. I play HoN way more but still I play both. And I have seen no HoN fans ripping on LoL vids at all. But they seem to be all over the place on every HoN vid out there.
@Sinari123 Again. The Drink is just a heal and buff to his attacks. He still uses mana, regens mana, and his skills cost mana. Drink is so you can focus on mana items and laning rather than constantly having to heal.

@Username636 Having read through the patch notes I don't think it'll be a problem. It'll just be impossible for new competitive players from dota to come to HoN seeing as they won't have access to every hero. The early hero access thing is bad but considering pro players don't try out new heroes for a while anyway I don't think having to wait a month to play with them will be a huge problem
@Wathisidonteven The two may both be mechs and have similar ults but they in no way play the same. Rumble is a close range caster/bruiser whose meant to get up close and in the enemies face. Youll get your face stomped if you try that with chipper.
@Balmung1991 Well Pudding (who is the voice in the video) does hero spotlights and will most likely be doing spotlights for LoL heroes now with Riot. Nome is a commetator/caster/community member that is now with Riot and LoL as well. Enjoy them, HoN misses them.
@GreatWolfGrimnar Actually its not the ulti. Every single spell is the same. The reason you'lç get face stomped with chipper is due to the differences from the games, not the hero himself. Hon is burstier and more based on position than lol.
@Wathisidonteven His harpoon is NOTHING like Chippers rockets, the barely do any damage, the slow is only good if you hit with both of them, and the range is a fraction of what chipper can shoot. His shield has a very short duration and is used more so for the movespeed component. The ultimates of both characters are the only gameplay similarities they have.
I love how the heroes coming out are now more able to combo their abilities than before. I love it when skills synergies for great combos. ps: this is going to be one tanky mofo...
@GreatWolfGrimnar Just re-checked , and its 3 out of 4. He Electro-Harpoon wich is similiar to rockets, Scrap Shield: wich is similar to magic buffer, and the ultimate is exactly the same, specially since its vector targetting aswell.

Rumble has a close range flamethrower, a medium range single target slow, and an auto attack steroid as a passive coupled with a diff resource system. Where are you getting "Every single spell is the same"?
How are they not different, I mean his Q ability much resembles Gragas' ultimate, launching and potentially stunning targets. Stagger resembles body slam, a short-cooldown and decently low mana cost movement ability, only difference is that you can go through terrain with body slam, but hey, you have to change something. Drink is exactly the same as Gragas' W (the name escapes me). Gragas' ultimate and Drunken Master's ultimate resemble eachother, Gragas can push away his enemies for escape.
@Nondo played hon since the closed beta, but tried lol and found it more balanced and funny to be able to carry as most of the int heroes in endgame. But my point was, where do you think S2 got the idea from? You cant deny that they are very similar, both model (kinda) and the whole charge thing and passive ^^

actually, those exist on lol videos every once in a while. especially on champion spotlights. for example on wukongs spotlight, even though those are completely coencidental.

I'm just glad I have decent people to play with but for solo players it'll be hell. While I probably will be getting DotA 2, we'll have to see how good it is before we can really judge what's going to happen to HoN. I think HoN still has the competitive scene going for them, which far exceeds LoL's "competitive scene", if they even have one.
@Cranksson 1. try the tabulator or bind his pet with CTRL+(Number 1-9) 2. Hm ... disable "exclusive mode" in the graphic options. or ask the HoN forums 4 help ^^

@Username636 A bigger player base does not mean a bigger competitive scene. LoL only really has 1 or 2 teams that compete well enough in their competitive scene where as there are many professional teams in HoN, and tournaments are held far more frequently. LoL gets more funds since they are a bigger company and have more players which is why people want to sponsor them as it is a big game. However, HoN's competitive scene > LoL's

Hehe, there is quite a bit of auto attacking. But it's about getting within punching range that's tricky. And most characters have fun moves that help with that. And contrary to popular belief, BKB doesn't last forever.

I'm not at all complaining about FTP. I've been playing HoN since the Beta started. Just because it's FTP doesn't mean that us veterans have to play with all the noobs that are joining the game for the first time or that are switching from LoL if any. We can choose to play normally like we have or join the lower ranks and play with them. I say the more people the more competition=more fun.

@eliteslayerpjf That's just part of the skill. It also improves his other abilities and that's the highlight of the skill.
@NufSC OP would be immune to ALL magic dmg, luckily it's only immune against single-target spells so it isn't quite "op" as you described.

I know they're nothing alike, but I like Gragas more. Gragas just holds a special place in my heart, even if he does kinda suck.

Snuggle sound like a really cool move. Would be better than Urgot's Ult in LoL, but funny. Sounds like a much better tank than Gragas.
