- This is the unboxing and the first video in the "Bach Stradivarius Trumpet Overhaul" series. In this video, I mentioned that I bought this trumpet a year and a half ago. I made a mistake. It was actually 2 years and 3 months. I am looking forward to working on this trumpet and hearing music come out of the bell after decades of silence.
Here is the link to the video where I bought this trumpet:

It’s finally here!!!
Yes!!! Was waiting for this
Blessings to you my friend I can't wait to see the end result
Hi Art! Wow, you have your work cut out for you on this one. I can’t wait to see the you do your magic. Have a blessed day!
Great to see another video; I look forward to them!
Looking forward to this series. I know you will work wonders with this trumpet.
after restoring, I might actually plate it (silver or gold) and make more $$$..ofc, if it were a NY or Mt. Vernon you'd make more but a 1970 Elkhart is still a sought after era...
I am not yet sure if I am going to get it silver plated or lacquered. I will probably take a poll and see what my viewers think I should do. There are some reasons for both.
I really hope that valve block is in better condition than it looks. This project cost you more than all but maybe 3 of my horns (IIRC), and two of those were purchased new. ☹
One day man will make telescopes that can see atoms
Wish you good luck!😂
i dont know if anyone else has done this but when i give a trumpet a bath and really cant get a valve cap off i just use a rag and pliers so its not metal to metal and it has never scratched anything.
Sir I want to connect you how can..... Sir please it's arjent 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
All up to valve casing inside. If it's scratched or worn it's a total loss.
penetrating oil and heat and then the rest of the magic applied I bet you can fix this.
It's a shame that Evaporust only works on steel. Pickling that thing in appropriate chemicals for a day or two would probably do it a world of good.
So, are you happy or disappointed that it's so awful? Awful makes better videos.
I love a challenge, so I am happy it is bad. As a bonus; it looks a lot worse than it is (I think).
