Out of 149 channels I watch on TH-cam, yours has quickly risen to the top 2 list of my favorites (although technically, the other person has 4 channels, but I count them all as one). All I can say is thanks for making your videos, and keep up the great work supporting retro computing!
Just so long as they kept the same pixelly sprites... whilst upscaling all the terrain and backgrounds. Just making the sprites a bit larger, and retaining clarity when zoomed way out...
This is absolutely fantastic! You should send them to Team 17 to see if they would be willing to include them in their PC ports (GOG & Steam). Well done! P.s. It's great to be here today, it's a good day, hello!
I had forgotten how much I loved the worms games as a kid until I watched your videos. Thank you for all your hard work to bring this all back into the world!
I remember buying Worms on the PC and couldn't play the game for 3-4 months because of the cutscenes! My PC would just go to a black screen when clicking a new game every time. Team 17 sent me boot disks (which was nice of them) to help but to no avail. Finally my dad was tinkering around the options menu and ended up disabling the videos and it loaded a level. The PC just couldn't handle the videos and as we didn't know it was trying to play a cutscene before starting a level it never clued us in to disable them. Wasn't until a couple of years after and a PC upgrade that I ever saw these. Great too see them in HD, and thanks for preserving these for the future.
I would absolutely love some of that original hand drawn conceptart :) Never in my wildest fantasies did i think something like this would turn up. Brings back so many memories from my childhood. Spend countless hours playing the original with my friends.
I got the original Worms in PC for Christmas that year. Probably the only big box PC game I ever had back in the day. Awesome work with this restoration!
Can't wait for that video as well. But I'm afraid if that computer was sent out for repair they would have made sure it didn't have any IP on it, but maybe back then they didn't worry about that kind of stuff, we'll have to see.
This is awesome. Worms was one of my first beloved computer games. I'll never forget how impressive those cut scenes were the first time I saw them. I HAVE WORMS!
Loved these videos. Alot of memories from Worms back in the day and to see the original voices and people behind them is great, never mind the original animations in HD just wow. Keep up the good work ;)
Dude. I have been loving every minute of this project, and I really appreciate your appreciation for this history. Cheers to your channel growing even faster. Hopefully this gets picked up by a game journalist, and can get spread around faster. I'm really hoping you have the files for Worms Armageddon, because that is my ultimate nostalgia trip.
What a catch! You've lured me in! There's no crawling out of this for me! No idea what's being offered from the list, but I'll happily give that pup a pat on the head in return.
Loving this worms series of videos. Team17 and the worms games were a big part of my childhood so seeing you unearth files from that original amiga was amazing. Watching those old cut scenes was a blast of nostalgia but seeing them brought back to life in HD was something else! Keep up the great work :)
You have some of the highest quality production standards and videos on TH-cam IMO. I'm so glad I found this channel, enjoying it greatly. This series is fascinating as well, looking forward to what else you discover. Keep up the GREAT work RR, it gives me the worm and fuzzy.
This deserves so much more thumbs up! One of the devs helped you to re-render the cutscenes in HD after all! Also you own a machine with dev code basically, how amazing is that?!
Nice find guys, the original Worms are still in the box in shelf upon my head ;). Love this game, we are still playing it with friend of mine on my A1200.
I very briefly worked at Team 17 for 2 weeks work experience in the QA dept in the late 90s - it was a great experience I’ll never forget - though playing Worms on a LAN with those guys was an education!
This and the previous video made me listen to the worm song on the original CD again. The first Worms (and Reinforcements) held a charm for me that the later instalments couldn't match.
As you are rendering the first cut in HD I'm thinking in my head "Hmm, wouldn't it be cool if he cleaned it up a little more and added some more detail." And then, BAM, there you go. Thats why I love your videos Peri!
I have the perfect pink filament for a 3D printed worm, so massive thanks to Lizzie and Aaron for the model file, and thanks for getting the machine working and recovering the data! It's going to be so much fun printing this out!
I first played this on my buds 286(?) from a demo. We had so much fun with that one level over and over. That said I never really got to see these videos back in the day. Thanks!
"It's great to be here today, it's a good day, hello!" :P This video was absolutely wild, I loved seeing what you could do with those old mesh files. Also, I should say that I would love to get my hands on that little Worms Armageddon box.
Second video watching from your channel... Amazing finding!!! Couldn't believe when I saw it!! I'm jealous of you!! I have most of Worms games (favourite is Armageddon) and I still play it!!! Great job with the rendering! Would to see it full remastered or new version! Team 17! I became a gamer because of Worms... Yes! I do have WORMS!
Count me in to the giveaway, It was great to see an amiga churning away rendering, I swear my old amiga spent half its life running povray and sutch, back in the day when raytracing took atl least two days a frame. Unlike todays gamers who have it easy.
Printing the STL right now. These cut scenes remind me of the videos they use to play at the bowling alley between the frames. Basic CGI, makes me wonder if they were made on an Amiga too.
My first Worms experience was with reinforcements in DOS and I still remember a kid in school worrying a teacher when they proudly said that they had Worms when 2 came out.
I don't have worms, I... I... am worms. Nice piece of video game history you've got, you shoud keep all of this. "It belong in a museum !". But if I can get a small part of it by wining this contest, I will be so happy ! Best regards !

That's quite a compliment! Wow!
Its great to be here today! It's a good day! Hello!
This is incomplete and therefore an invalid entry. Try again...
'Tis some HEAVEN'S work.
Wouldn't it be good if Team17 remastered this game for this generations console and use the HD render in the game too.
Yes spot on, spot on!
I think they remastered clan wars plays great on my windows 10
Just so long as they kept the same pixelly sprites... whilst upscaling all the terrain and backgrounds. Just making the sprites a bit larger, and retaining clarity when zoomed way out...
No.
This is absolutely fantastic! You should send them to Team 17 to see if they would be willing to include them in their PC ports (GOG & Steam). Well done!
P.s. It's great to be here today, it's a good day, hello!
I am so happy you are digging into this computer and sharing the information within
I had forgotten how much I loved the worms games as a kid until I watched your videos. Thank you for all your hard work to bring this all back into the world!
So many good memories playing Worms with my brother. Thanks for bring us the HD renders, its great to see old retro stuff being updated.
I love that you are doing this! Thank you!!!

This was quite the nostalgia trip, it made me feel all worm... er, warm inside.
I got the original Worms in PC for Christmas that year. Probably the only big box PC game I ever had back in the day. Awesome work with this restoration!
And LGR just recently found another computer belonging to another software house. Wonder what he'll find? This is cool stuff...
Sierra Online yeah, I can't wait for his next video.
That got me excited too! Sierra was always my favorite house.
Can't wait for that video as well. But I'm afraid if that computer was sent out for repair they would have made sure it didn't have any IP on it, but maybe back then they didn't worry about that kind of stuff, we'll have to see.

Congrats ! This was a real fun watch and a trip down memory lane for me!
Great episode! Thanks!
Great video and the work you put into the HD conversion, always loved this game!

Superb work look great .
One Word: WOW! Great video as this was a feat to do with not just yourself but other contributions. Cheers! \m/
Yes, huge thanks to them! 👍🕹
What a catch! You've lured me in! There's no crawling out of this for me!
No idea what's being offered from the list, but I'll happily give that pup a pat on the head in return.
Gorgeous!
I really do have worms ........in my garden. Brilliant to see all the stuff from Team 17. You brought back a lot of happy memories for this old man.
Not only do I love the old worms games, but I spent a lot of time in high school doing animation on an Amiga 2000. This video really takes me back.
Loving watching you unearth these wormderful treasures!
That worm would look mighty sweet on my desk! Loving these videos Christian!!
Thanks Paul! 👍🕹️

I love how this story has wormed its way into my life.
I had Worms. I want them again. Great video!
Worth a thumbs up for the finely crafted intro alone...
You have some of the highest quality production standards and videos on TH-cam IMO. I'm so glad I found this channel, enjoying it greatly. This series is fascinating as well, looking forward to what else you discover. Keep up the GREAT work RR, it gives me the worm and fuzzy.
omg! I love what you did to the animations. Worms was my number 1 game in the day (and still playing it on my PSP nowadays!)
The HD-ification of the classic Worms scenes are really cool, but the original low-res animations has a retro nostalgic charm to them
This deserves so much more thumbs up!
One of the devs helped you to re-render the cutscenes in HD after all!

Nice find guys, the original Worms are still in the box in shelf upon my head ;). Love this game, we are still playing it with friend of mine on my A1200.
dude this is awesome seeing these after so many years
Very good work with the re-renders. They look outstanding. Your friend did a great job.
Brilliant series and well done to get these back to life 👌
It's great to be here today!
Cheers! Like to see all this again. Many years ago! :)
I very briefly worked at Team 17 for 2 weeks work experience in the QA dept in the late 90s - it was a great experience I’ll never forget - though playing Worms on a LAN with those guys was an education!
I find it very reassuring in a difficult world that Lightwave is still around and assets are still reusable! Fantastic video.
Well done looks amazing in HD.
That's so cool! I had no idea worms was that old... I think the old trees are better, I mean it's not realism, but over all really amazing job!
Wonderful idea! Thanks a lot!
Woweee - I have got Worms!. Great work!
always love your Amiga videos!
You can never have to many worms. Great work to all involved.
Great job with the re-renders!
As this is a Amiga 4000 my Paula and Fat Gary are feeling all new and shiny again.
This and the previous video made me listen to the worm song on the original CD again. The first Worms (and Reinforcements) held a charm for me that the later instalments couldn't match.
Awesome piece of history!!! Good luck everyone!
Who would have believed I can see these old Worms FMV in HD, 23 years later! :D
Thanks for sharing!
Watching this brings back so many Worms memories, namely on the PS1 for me.
Brilliant Sweetie! I love it all. My fav channel.
Great restoration!
Love the video , thanks man !!
Nice to see the old files, after so many years, still importing just fine in modern LightWave implementations.
You had me “Hooked” on this video! 🤪 Thanks for sharing this bit of game and PC history!
This contest makes me feel all worms and fuzzy inside!
As you are rendering the first cut in HD I'm thinking in my head "Hmm, wouldn't it be cool if he cleaned it up a little more and added some more detail." And then, BAM, there you go. Thats why I love your videos Peri!
excellent work!
Its amazing seeing these files re-rendered!
A great continuation to the last unearthing video. Enjoyed watching you fine-tune the graphics. ; )
Thanks for resurrecting some childhood memories in glorious HD this was amazing
Well done!!! After you mentioned the arm pits in the last video I can't unsee them :/
No-one can out pun you so straight faced, so I will just say thank you for the great videos.
Great to see the old files still importing just fine in modern LightWave implementations.
It's great to be here today, it's a good day, hello!
Another awesome video... You're fast becoming one of my favourite youtubers..
Thank you for your kind words. Means a lot. 👍🕹.
Love this stuff... I still use LightWave 3d today, and it's neat to see where it's come from all these years on. Thanks for doing these cool videos!
Yeh man!! Ive been hooked on finding out about all the cool team17 stuff you've found!
Worms was the staple of my childhood!
I have the perfect pink filament for a 3D printed worm, so massive thanks to Lizzie and Aaron for the model file, and thanks for getting the machine working and recovering the data! It's going to be so much fun printing this out!
What a cool piece of history!

Very good video. Brings back lots of memories

This video was absolutely wild, I loved seeing what you could do with those old mesh files.
Also, I should say that I would love to get my hands on that little Worms Armageddon box.
Wow, so much effort. Well done!
Wormderful! Love these unexpected finds, instant sub !
Finally, the Worms remaster we've been waiting for!

"It's great to be here today, it's a good day, hello!" I really love your videos!
Looks really good in reworked HD! (especially fixing the eyes helps a lot!)
Some stunning work! I'd quite like to see some of the non-Worms content from those hard drives, hopefully you'll take a look at that in the future.
I still find it amazing what they did with the original hardware back then.
Count me in to the giveaway, It was great to see an amiga churning away rendering, I swear my old amiga spent half its life running povray and sutch, back in the day when raytracing took atl least two days a frame. Unlike todays gamers who have it easy.
Very interesting video, I had no idea the original cinematics were rendered in LightWave!
Amazing amazing! Really really impressed you cleaned up your worms for all!
.....I just need clear up mine too, the different kind! 😉
One of my all times favorite games .. it was a much needed game to get me away from my dad's PC where we played Scorched Earth.

Man I do really like your music. Very well done.
