Having worn numerous models of Casio, Seiko, Citizen, Orient and other watch companies, this one is a true go-to favorite for its light weight and legibility. Thanks for a great review
My walmart doesnt even carry them in the store and price is now minimum around $20 - $25 depending on where you look. Hate having to pay double for what used to be a $10.00 - $15.00 watch.
Sells for 20$ US at Walmart, I actually found the green for 4$, basically free. It’s an amazing watch, it looks fantastic. To have the day as well as the date, is really nice.
My advice, make sure you get one in a color you really like. I've had the same one for seven years or so. Severely scratched, bezel broken off and epoxied back on, second strap and third battery, still works.
After seeing your first review l jioned you Casio forum group and have met and gotten to know so lovely people and l love to see other’s casios so thankyou so much ! I baught this model on the stainless steel band so l could get a good fit ,l have skinny wrists and often the rubber straps are too long for me l have poor eyesight and this watch is perfect for me and the steel bracelette means l don’t have worry about it breaking and makes the watch look far more expensive than it was this watch reminds me very much of a Luminox on a budget ! It’s a fantastic deal lve baught several casio’s based on your reviews,so thanks!!! Robyn Griffin,Sydney
I just got my second one of this exact model color watch. Excellent time keeping. Fit nice but band will be changed soon. Will be getting more colors of this watch.😆😆
Any ideas where i can get some Nato strap adaptors for this watch. I know it's 18mm width, but the only adaptors I can see online is for the hulking G shocks with wider strap options..Ideas ?
Sorry pal I’ve only seen G Shock adapters myself, but I know there’s others out there as people in my Facebook group post pics with them on. Maybe join the Facebook group and ask? I know Jays and Kays make some, but theirs might all be for Gs.
I was reading some of the comments below and some one was wanting a nato strap option the is already a version of this model that comes on a nylon strap it’s not very well known but l got mine from Amazon it is in military colours very cool here is the model number if the gentleman is interested MRW-200HB-1BVDF-robyn ,sydney
These watches are great. I’ve had a few over the years. With regard to the spec, the crystal is plastic and not mineral crystal as you stated. Negatives, for me are the poor lume, the strap could be a touch longer, but I’m not interested in a NATO for it as it look much better on this supplied strap and one final thing is that it does not have an indicator to tell you that the battery is running out…..I got caught out, very annoying. That’s it! Pluses, very cheap, ultra accurate, ultra light, looks great, easily as tough as a Luminox, almost as tough as a G Shock, day and date, super easy to see in dim light, great graphics with very good bezel markings. Anyone notice how good the seconds hands hit the markers bang on? The chapter ring alignment is spot on……please take notice, Seiko. Quality control overall is amazing, lightweight does not mean poor quality. I have the one up from this, the MRW-S300, which is solar we’re, bigger, to suit my 7.5 inch wrists, but the bezel marking are awful, it does not have a day calendar and the quality control is awful in comparison, mine won’t hack, it just keep running when I pull the crown out two stops and I doubt it will take quite as much of a licking. Don’t think about buying one of these 200s, just get one, you’ll not regret it. I put one in a 1600rpm spin speed washing machine full 60 degree cycle once and it just gained a couple of minutes…..unbelievably tough bit of kit…..an ideal armed forces watch, I reckon, I know that a lot of Police Officers wear them. Great review, keep up the good work.
Yes it’s an amazing watch for the price. I changed the strap on mine by modifying a Casio Duro rubber strap. Much better. I’ve mainly used this watch when on holiday, either when on the sand and sea and also to sit on the side of the hot tub. Nice clear hands and numbers to read from any angle.
@@humblewiz4953 😝, I get that and I praised it to the skies, I’ve had three, but I might as well point out the pros and cons, regardless of price, take care.
You have the makings of a great channel but could I suggest a couple of things: invest in a microphone plastic digital calipers Top down review using a camera stand on to a desk or inside a photo/video booth with white gloves just to give the watch a better platform than your lounge foot stool, I'm sure you know where I'm coming from. ;) It would make a big difference to the viewing experience as your lyrical content is good. Check out: "Watching Casio" channel he started out just over a year ago and he already has 11.5k subscribers with less than 30 videos I can see this channel going the same way with a few tweaks. all the best, cheers
I fully agree with you and it’s great advice. However, as a busy family man who does this purely as a fun hobby from my games room, I’ve no real interest in making changes to get more followers. It’s mainly done so the people in my Casio Watchers Facebook group can hear about a few particular watches I own and what I think of them. If other people outside of the group watch the videos too then that’s a real bonus.
@@casiowatchers7511 That's fair enough really, I didn't know how far you are wanting to take the channel in viewing figures or presentation, I'm not on any social media platforms myself but I do watch a ton of watch videos and follow about a dozen watch channels so yeah I've got you booked marked for my Casio itch. Keep it going!
Yes for sure. Any WR guidance stated on a Casio is a reflection of what it can more than likely cope with. However, anybody seriously considering diving to 100m+ depth would more than likely want something with a screw down crown like a Casio Duro just to be certain it could handle it. This watch would be more than enough for what most people need to dive with though.

I put this one in a custom made leather strap that a leather artisan friend made me, and it looks like a million bucks. Awesome piece.
Very nice review on a formidable daily watch. Extremely practical with the day/date
Sells for 20$ US at Walmart, I actually found the green for 4$, basically free.
It’s an amazing watch, it looks fantastic. To have the day as well as the date, is really nice.
Thats weird. It cost more than 50 dollars in central Europe. I dont know why
in indonesia the price is 18$.. i wear it everyday. so cool
My advice, make sure you get one in a color you really like.

How many years can a a single battery survive?
@@syarifairlangga4608 the original battery lasted four years.
Speaking of the resin strap. I replaced mine with a velcro strap from AW-80V. Looks tons better and is way more comfortable.
This is a great channel you have buddy!! I really enjoyed this review. You are fair and honest, keep up the good work!!
Thank you for your kind words 🙏🏻
I have this watch in black with a white face. I think it looks superb! The white dial is easy to read in very low-light conditions.
I have this black on black tactical version now & it’s my current favorite watch. I absolutely love it!

In your title said Diver. Can you really dive with a 100M watch like this one?
Yes for sure. Any WR guidance stated on a Casio is a reflection of what it can more than likely cope with. Okay, can you recommend same budget 200M watch at $19 with 12 numbers present on dial?
The window is made of Resin glass. This is not as cheap compared to other lower-priced analogue Casio models with Minieral glass.
