Ween drew me in with the humor and became one of my favorite bands after I realized how great the songwriting was behind it all. I've been going through the demos and rarities recently, they really illuminate how fucking good these guys were
@@Quartiano I remember reading some liner-note type of thing accompanied with the digital release of this track that was typed up (by Deaner himself presumably) that said they just went into the studio and jammed as the Towers fell or a little while after it happened but they recorded it on 9/11.... pretty gripping shit.
I would love to know if they wrote or recorded this on 9/11. It's extremely beautiful. It would've made a great addition to Quebec: many of the demos would've.
this is nuts, i downloaded some shit from mickeys facebook a while back he posted, and it turns out its the caesar demos...lol needless to say i threw them on my other hardrive for safe keeping
If anyone has Ween's version of TOADIES "I come from the water" -please please post it.....WEEN tweaked the lyrics and the title abit...ha ha ha....if you know what I mean...I heard it like ten years ago and laughed soo hard I've been searching for it ever since :)

Is that true? I had heard they wrote it in response to 9/11 but did not know they created it within hours of the event
