Thats a Stanier Class Black 5 running on the Heritage Railway from Ft William to Mallaig - The Jacobite line. It was built in 1945 in Crewe.

The cable car goes to near the top of Aonach Mor. Ben Nevis is just tucked in behind it. Have a ride on tge cable car - it's beautiful views from the top]!

Can I ask you a quick question. On your way up did you go the A82 by Loch Lomond or via sterling and Callander. The only reason I ask I have been to Fort William before but not towing and I remember by loch lommond some parts are very narrow and by rocks. I’m going in Sept but towing this time and have an 8 foot wide Buccanner towed by a Discovery and thinking this might not be recommended and should go via sterling instead.

We went Sterling & Callander route, we stopped at Maragowan site (Killen) prior to going to Bumree, thanks for watching 👍
