Awesome video thanks! Small point - at 2:20, you exchanged one card, which is an illegal play in Jaipur...Official Rules: "you can never exchange just 1 card from your hand against 1 from the market."
I did trade my copy in admittedly, because it has a great app. Same with Istanbul and Lost Cities. I usually appreciate having the physical copies but if the app is done well enough, I'm ok with letting go of the physical copy. Jaipur and Istanbul apps are very, very good.
Thanks for the game! I just got this yesterday and my son and I played through, but as usual the subtle rules were lost on us. You guys cleared it up :)
Hi, if I am exchanging 2 cards that I have in my hand (leather and gold) for leather and silver in the market, can I exchange them? E.g. Gold (in my hand) for leather and leather (in my hand) for silver?
can this game be played with 3-4 players? i have seen a 3-4 players variant rule book but have never seen anyone actually playing with that many people.
I've only ever played with 2 people. However, I was able to find this page on BGG for a fan-made rulebook for 3 and 4 player variant (probably what you were referencing): www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/114204/jaipur-3-and-4-players That being said, if you're looking for a game with a similar vibe to Jaipur but made for 3 or 4 players, I would recommend checking out Splendor: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/148228/splendor
You can't exchange one card from your hand at 2:21. It must be at least two cards or you just draw a card from the market

Ah good catch!
Was just about to write the same. Take 1 card is ok. For an exchange, you need to have at least 2 cards. Otherwise, great video guys. Thanks! 👍🏼
