- Stylish finishes in each half from Pedro Neto and Matheus Cunha ended Wolves’ 28-year wait for a win at the Hawthorns, as the Old Gold showed their quality during a lively Black Country derby.
I was so annoyed when Julien left due to transfer situation, but Gary has just been out of this world! He is getting the best out of all these players, they play so much more attacking and you can see the rewards, yes at times we are still a little possession focused and do nothing with it but we are getting better and better. He is so underrated but so happy to be a Wolves fan. The trouble in the stands its just disgusting to see, but this was always going to happen and think the police should had done their checks better before entering the stadium but easy to say in hindsight I guess.
I think he had done a decent job at Bournemouth. So, him doing well at Wolves is no surprise considering the quality of talent they have

@samshingler8186 absolutely, glad for him, he seems like a decent fella. It became apparent that he would excel after the first game against united.the players seem to have taken in his ideas very well and everytime I watch wolves the players appear to have a good chemistry with one another, when you look at the way they celebrate a goal

As a baggies fan, I couldn't argue with the result. You guys deserved the win. We had our moments but lost the ball easily in so many places. Neto will always be a problem for us no matter what competition it's in. Good on ya lads. Great win for you lot 👏
last time you played us we were hammered 5 nil or something, then dropped 2 leagues right after and everything went south, so this was a welcome win. hope you make it back to the prem like we did.
Albion had their chances. Just lacking quality in the final third. Corberan is an excellent coach. PL quality IMO. If only your owner was ambitious and reward the coach the resources to match.

The Black Country Derby is Old Gold! It was enough to have 50% shot effectiveness to win the derby. Great job by the players and coaching staff, keep up the good work guys.

Always played within ourselves. I imagine it was G O'N's game plan to slow things down unless we could catch them on the break, and it worked well. Excellent performances by Kilman and Doyle in particular. Doyle an outstanding addition- not blessed with lightning speed, but neither was Ruben Neves, and Doyle is playing well enough to be compared to the great Ruben. Sign him at the first opportunity, please!

The quality of the goals would have been worth the admission fee. Wolves have scored some memorable goals this season.

First half Wolves were playing like they were overwhelmed by the hostile atmosphere. Slow, sluggish, second to the ball. Once the first goal went in however, normal service was resumed and the PL gap really came into effect and showed. As for what occurred off the field, well, the least said.
