You may want to ask the entrepreneur what percentage of material (parts)input comes from Nigeria? These are fully imported vehicles imported from Asia and slowly put together in Nigeria. They are expensive and poorly factory backed in comparison to what established manufacturers like Madza , Hyundai or even China-Wall are offering .

Honestly Mr Ajayi has done a great job with the whole automobile business but he needs to understand that before he can fully beat the price margin he wants to beat, he needs to first find a way produce the parts in Nigeria, rather than importing them. The dollar rate will always tell on the price of the parts, which will in turn reflect on the price of the finished vehicles.
I believe Mr Ajayi knows about this already and is working towards it.

This is the kind of news we want to hear in relation to Nigeria at 60. The next phase can be manufacturing some of the simple components locally, with special incentives from the government. Not political power play or which entertainer has beef with who. Commerce, entrepreneurship, Critical and innovative thinking is what is desperately needed for the future, not which tribe will rule and control the national cake (which is dying on its feet)🤔

While i encourage young Nigerians to invest in technology, I would also like to encourage them to learn how to collaborate firstly amongst themselves. These OEM components would not always be assessible when the west decides to do away with everything mechanical, they may decide to put taxes in the name of carbon emissions tax etc. Then we would be back to square one, hence rather than having so many names I look forward to seeing more collaborations. Cos also with more collaborations here in Nigeria you would be able to get more volumes in sales and achieve your dreams
