Some people buy stocks, some real estate, this guy buys lorry’s and turns it into a massive business. That’s an entrepreneur right there
@Claudio Dio really
Actually all those that you have mentioned are entrepreneurs in their own way...
@@themanimal7602 who tf said theyre not, i was just saying he is the same....
true however i remember someone looked at his financials on company house and it didn't actually look that great
@@Sam-ys6iw because every company pays fair tax? Don't count companies success by companies house
How many trucks do you have?
Daniel: Yes
😂😂
None, they`re lorries.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've never in my entire life read or watched something about construction or lorrys but this was really entertaining to watch and I learned something new :D
Yeah, I guess more young people should look at the construction industry, many interesting jobs, I love it
Right I found his channel from a recommendation but idk if it’s for construction or just watching him run the business. Either way this stuff is super interesting to watch
Ditto.
My thoughts exactly!
@Jim Bob yeah right but there definitely some jobs very underrated and some very overrated
Started with the QPR sponsorship video, now I'm learning about different types of lorries , have really travelled a long way down the TH-cam rabbit hole
Mee 2
Same here😂
Same
This guy doesn't need any lorries he's built like a lorry.
We started running into a new problem when our lorries were breaking down, so what did we do? Here we have my enormous physique which comes in handy to pull around lorries when needed. Seeing as this work didn't make sense for the investment we also bring in more work by pulling around communter trains and busses.
@@TheBoWill 🤣🤣🤣
He’s about 6ft6

Wish I had this man's mental attitude because holy shit is he a go getter, impressive as hell.
💯
Ok then get his mental attitude
Daniel's doing better than me, but I can tell you this:
Start with small changes in your life, then the big changes will be a little easier
Just be the best version of yourself man !
This is what i need in my recommended list, tired of getting distracted from the hustle with silly videos
I own my own driveway resurfacing company, your videos have inspired me to take a step up and this summer I will be installing brand new and specialty driveways for my entire state. Going from jobs of 1-2k to jobs of 8k+.
how did it work out for you?
He failed
Bak to resurfacing w4nk driveways
@@dawudali5771 yes, let all that frustration out of your bitter bum soul praying for his failure😆

Just as we suspected. Ghost didn't die. He's moved in to the costruction lorry business.

When your company has it's own railway siding, things are getting serious
@DW DW how do you know
@DW DW he is in the UK why would his revenue be in dollars?
@DW DW If the company were called Ashland this would be more interesting
It’s Ashville not Ashland ya bellend 😂😂😂
@DW DW Ashville. British company...
This guy is so inspiring. Started with a tiny business, now look at him.
I think this is now officially my favourite TH-cam channel 👍. Please make a video explaining how you bought an actual train line - I didn't even know that was a thing 😂. Anyway, admirable levels of OCD. Hard work pays off - inspirational. ATB from Andy Mac in Newcastle. 🤘
I believe he just owns the siding which is connected to the main train line, He will then have an agreement with his railfreight operator (Which in his case is GB Railfreight) to get them to deliver aggregate from the quarry to the yard.
Impressive none the least been building most my life and still ain’t got 5% of what this guys got
hi gosforth, your channel is also one of my favourites!
areet Andy, fancy bumping into you here lol!!
Jesus. I work in logistics and I know that running lorries isn't easy. To have that many units is very impressive. To have so many on order. Congrats to Ashville
big investors
Realest entrepreneur out there!
Definitely. When you see his trucks lined up on the m25 you know he serious
There is probably someone better out there but ok
@@garryspeed9657 what? Like you? What do you do?
@@garryspeed9657 O stfu lmao
@@garryspeed9657 there is always someone better off out there but he has done well for himself
This guy is the picture perfect definition of entrepreneurship. Have a problem? Fix it. Another problem comes around? Fix it. Next thing you know you've fixed 35 problems aka having a 35 truck fleet. Well done!
7 years, is a legit time for a legit business to grow, shows honest hardwork!
Would love to see a Netflix documentary of what goes on at Ashville Aggregates
Would be ace
Nah i think he can do it in his own way right here on youtube. We are all here for his content anyways so why find another platform when he is onnthe biggest one already and can do things at his own terms right !

The Lifestyle very true.
beckys2222 what about the 185 folk that have liked it 🤣
I like seeing construction company’s where the equipment looks well taken care of
I love how you say "We" and not "I"
He seems like a pretty down to earth boss
Yeh the “We” the guy who’s money he’s cleaning 😂
This guy's a do-er not just a grower or show-er.
Love just how passionate he is about his company and how intimately he knows all the equipment. It really is inspiring for anyone looking to start their own business.
I work for a construction company that works with and delivers the cement to Ashville - the difference between Daniel's attitude and our company is night and day. Our company is shrinking, poor management, poor decisions all the time. Ashville is growing. I wish you all the best, hats off for doing the job and knowing what you're talking about too. Seen your R500 artics going around and getting loaded at one of our sites - very smart and well specced for the job - was at your place the other week, met Maria in the office 👍👍
Good testimonial for Ashville, I have my own construction company but am in New Zealand but enjoy his videos
@@seanrota3359 did u also start on one truck?
@@domo_willson I started with little and have grown steadily, don't have an impressive fleet like Ashville
I love when companies keep the same colors throughout all of the equipment they own. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and looks so professional!! Great video.
Ultimately he capitalised on the incompetence of the construction game. Smart man!
This bloke is brilliant. What an entrepreneur and what an inspiration.
I love how simplistic you make the pros and cons, you’re VERY good and natural at presenting. Keep at it
Honestly deserves everything he has & more! People who work hard reap the rewards 👏🏽🎉
I don't even know how I ended up on this channel but congrats to this guy! It takes real determination, planning and intelligence (both IQ and EQ) to get there. And from what I've seen in another video, he seems to be respectful of others as well. So good for you man!
Inspiring story. I will love to hear how You built Your business from the beginning in more detail because it's not only machines You need to deal with, it's also people, yard, customers, etc. I wish You more success in the future.
Its fake he had a rich father
@@jackrambo1999 how do you know please explain
@@zer0k4ge he's a troll
Grey up in Kilburn. To my father who was a tipper driver. Grew up with this in my blood so I absolutely love this sort of content. LOVE IT
Respect a person that knows their company and can use their equipment
Damn that yard is pristine, and big, new drivers must be confused when the rock up at 4am on a freezing, dark, rainy Monday morning and don’t have to move half the fleet to get to the one they are driving and then negotiate a minefield of potholes.
Bit late of a comment but can't agree more lol, Think that's why he does it, if he makes it a good place to work he'll have more loyal employees. Also increases efficiency all-round. This guy from watching his vids is definitely a "spend more to make more" kind of guy, but he knows where to do it, very impressive.
You can’t be what you can’t see, we need more role models like you for the hoods love bro ❤️ Inspiration fr
Exactly... I see too many people idolize mumble rappers instead of entrepreneurs like my man here 💯
The sad reality is you need to have losers for there to be winners...
This man deserves 👏 everything he gets grafter
He's a grafter US Pres is a grifter. one vowel changes everything.
We need to see a video of how you started and the early days like really in depth how you financed stuff and the progression. I remember you saying you started by doing up houses id like to hear more about the early days as I'm looking to buy a house currently and im in two minds between shared ownership- nice and sorted or buy a fixer upper and flip it
Probably started off as a jockey on construction sites and said naw I’m running this boys. Then put every dollar he earned back into the company once he started, that’s the major sacrifice is struggling to the max until it pays off
Don't do shared ownership if you can afford not to, fixer upper depends entirely on your ability and willingness to put up with an unfinished house for X amount of months
this exactly what i was coming to the comments to comment
Yeah, good question safsum.
When & how do you take the plunge!?
For example That original lorry was 65k that’s almost 3 years salary for most people.
Bank loan, investor hell even a little money laundering. Would love to know how people make it ,as it appears tough. Good luck to ash his channel is great.
@@nosky2142 im hearing different things i did a bit of digging and apartmently he had some money from modelling and then bought a house in Silvertown, flipped it and then just kept doing it. I guess he then specialised in basement extensions and then that kickstarted the cash flow to fund concrete business
Found myself here from car wow. For having no connections with Hgv driving you’ve got me hooked
I’ve been driving HGV’s 20 years and have just spent 3 hours watching ashville videos.. don’t ask me why because I don’t know myself.. lol
I found both Asheville and Yiannimize through Carwow. I love them all
Amazing! Each tool bought allowed growth. Its not just about flexing with equipment. Amazing progression and just shows how if you focus you can achieve. All the best to Dan and Ashville. Stories like this give me so much inspiration.
I've absolutely no idea how I ended up here and watching half a dozen videos but all good stuff, respect to the man for running a not so regular collection of business, and above all possessing the ability to talk straight, salute.
Having just stumbled upon your channel whilst watching train videos, you are the epitome of an entrepreneur. You show what drive and ambition can do and serve as an inspiration to what is possible with hard work
This guy has passion in Spades, love his videos! Cheers from Australia!
You make HGV and construction interesting! 😂😂 Keep up the good work 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Man, you're running Ashville like a champ. Keep going on hard work.. You're an example to a lot of people ! :]
This is one of the best videos of a construction company that I've ever seen. Great job!
When you carry a love for Tonka toys into your adult working life. I do love to see a company take a little pride in the appearance of their fleet. I'm also a big fan of a business owner who thinks "Or clients need this service, I can build that into what we can offer.
Coordinating a project becomes so much easier when you can find a good, reliable company they can cater for all of your site needs. Beats burning through time and money trying to get multiple companies working nicely together, and communicating with each other to synchronise jobs.
What an hugely impressive set up. It's one thing to start of small and operate properly but another thing to have a big fleet and keep it running, keep everyone paid, keep the work coming in etc. Well done. Brian. DM Finance.
this was recommended for me, no idea why, not complaining. Awesome fleet.
Thanos: "Fine, I'll do it myself."
Ashville: "...that's it, we'll do it ourselves!"
Hahaha 😂😂
U need a low loader trailer for recovery purposes + can use it for normal haulage
When your doing a job, give it your 100% and do your best = this guy is a perfect example and has gone out of his way for ashville. Respect
Clearly a very savvy and visionary man/company; he saw a gap (gaping holes) in the market and filled them.
Also, I was very impressed at the condition of the yard; clean, no weeds, well maintained, well fenced - that speaks volumes to me about the culture of the business, almost as much as the well maintained and clean fleet.
Subscribed and belled!
This must be why I can’t find an “Ash” number plate 😂😂

😂
Why not try for a ""POW" then?
What a great guy, your parents must be so proud of you. Well done Daniel. A great insperation to others. 👍👍👍👍👍
Considering all the TH-cam videos I skip through, I never thought I’d sit through a full video on lorries and machines!! Finding Daniel and his story very inspirational!!
What a bloke.
What ever industry you're from he is truly inspirational
"I spent a long time trying to Ashville my lorries" 😂😂
Greetings from the PNW in the US. Great video! I’m tickled to see how you’ve grown your fleet and work hard! Hard work always pays off! Im just a humble wheat farmer here and I buy old 359 Pete’s and go through them and give them a new life on the farm. Takes a little more to maintain but unlike the newer trucks, I can work on the old girls. Godspeed brother!
The guys energy is unbelievable fair play to him 💪💪

Daniel seems to have looks, charisma, intelligence, determination, will, strength...
Add that lot together, it seems he's creating his own luck 🚛

I watched this yesterday and today I just saw one of your fleet on the M25. Thought that was pretty cool!
I commented before I finish the video
This is one of the best video I have seen that was full of honest information
Full of enthusiasm
Man you nail it
I dont know how these videos were my recommended video list in my dashboard. Now my family and I are binge watching, The content is top notch. I am from Chicago, ILL USA and I never knew what a lorry was.
Ur a major inspiration to me, I just added a new dropside pick up truck to my fleet today after watching your video last night, And today i spent all my time in the vehicle phoning suppliers and following up on orders instead of listening to music while driving between my renovation sites!
Next on my list is a new 4 ton truck.
Cool guy who makes sense when he talks . I like his brain is logical and straight. Keep it up bro 😎
A great fleet you have built in 7 years and your finance every month must be HUGE. Your fuel bill must be HUGE as well
You've done nothing but INSPIRE me!!! Thank you for sharing with all of us.
Mad Props! You've done excellent work and grown well over the last seven years!

Cant do that, cant do this, have to wait for that. Thats when i got pissed off and bought myself a tractor, a escavator and a tractortrailer.
Well done mate, very impressive. Great presentation. I love it that you use the word lorry and not truck, lorry is a good old British word/expression. I admire you and may your success continue. God bless 👍🇬🇧🚚👋
