Crazy story for anyone having this similar problem and this video didn't solve the problem. I had a 96 GMC Yukon with 5.7 vortec that all of a sudden would not start, it cranked, but no start. I did the exact same thing as this video, and more, and nothing worked. After 3 days of hitting my head against the wall I had my wife crank it over while I did some more tinkering. I then noticed, by looking at the fan blades, it was turning the wrong direction!!! I was like WTF??? I then replaced the starter and VIOLA! It started right up because it was now turning the proper direction! Unreal! That was the first and last time I have ever seen a starter all of a sudden decide to start turning the wrong direction. Maybe this will help someone else someday. Cheers!
Ive been throwing money at a newly built motor. One thing i have not done is clean the cap. Gonna try it tomorrow and ill come back if it works to say your freaking awesome. Wish i didnt replace the fuel pump today cuz it didnt make ot start
Awesome video. Did you have to perform the crank shaft position sensor relearn after you replaced the sensor? I’ve got mixed answers about doing a relearn for this model of truck.
Hello sir, great vid. I got a 2005 ford expedition same issue. I have fuel to the rail and I have spark aswell as compression. Any idea what my solution could be? Thanks!
