The Story of Adidas
This is the story of Adidas, one of the true sporting giant which was born in fascist Germany. In this video we take a journey through the time from being two brother making shoes from mothers garage to dominating the whole sports world. We also take a look into how Adidas gave rise to Puma, the third largest sporting brand in the world.

Adidas is and always will be my favorite sneaker company. I grew up wearing them and I’ll never stop no matter what anyone says.
I agree. Nike don't last as long before falling apart. However, some of us have foot problems from birth. European designers have always used such firm soles in their sports footwear. Only Nike Air are comfortable & soft enough for us to avoid pain.

It's basically a short version of the Adidas vs Puma drama. Two hours story is squeezed into 11 minutes. Video editing is good, but you should have mentioned it as a source since almost the entire clip contains pictures from it.

Fun fact: Pelé used adidas' boots with puma's logo because they were better in his opinion but he was sponsored by puma, so in the world cup 1970 he removed the 3 stripes of the adidas' boots and put puma's logo.

I recently saw an interview with Michael Jordan where he said Adidas were his favourite shoe brand and he wanted them to be his sponsor (before he was really famous) but Adidas weren't interested! He chose Nike instead and the rest is history. :)

I had Adidas sprint shoes, my Dad gave me a pair after I won the 100m and 200m at my school in bare feet and then with my brand new Adidas Tokyo sprint shoes I won the Provincial Championships in a time of 12.2 seconds for a 12 year old. Those shoes cost my mum and dad a massive $129 in 1969!
I always ran in Adidas until at University when I invested in some Puma Sacramento's.
I Purchased some Nike Trainers, and they were the worst sports shoe that I ever own, they came apart and cause my foot to roll on a jogs straining my ankle and making me miss the National Champs. Never again Nike, I've told my two sons, but they have bought them anyway and a good experience so we move on.
Anyway the fastest I got my Adidas Tokyos to go was 10.6 sec for the 100m.
I loved running and sprinting and got to race against Don Quarry, Hazelly Crawford and Alan Wells in 1981 or 1982? Needless to say I got no where but I was pleased to be there at the South Pacific Games?
My Dad also got me a pair of Adidas Rugby boots, basically soccer boots and these were also fantastic!
It is funny but Adidas and Puma have always been my favorite brand!
The name of the town is "Herzogenaurach", not just Herso. But yes, it's not easy for non germans.
Been there in a catholic school, every chrismass we got new shoes from Adidas/Puma.
Adidas is more iconic for fashion scene because of the three-stripes design. But Puma is better for running shoes. Kinda ironic that despite the two brothers rivalry which founded those two brands, their family today don't manage the brands.
Run DMC turned me onto Sheltoes when I was 13 and I've had at least one pair on the go ever since. Best sneaker ever.

In the early 70's I wore them...The brand was mostly leather & made in France...These days the quality of the shoe is not the same,they're made in Asia.
It’s simple: the Dassler made shoes for the Nazis and one of the brothers was named Adolf, enough said….

I mainly use premiere to edit videos and some after effect help as well. you can make the editing much easier with adding and presets, still it takes a lot of work. I recommend learn the basics of premiere first and then try to use presets to ease your work..
