Is Netanyahu heading to The Hague for war crimes? | The News Agents

  • The International Criminal Court is seeking arrest warrants for Israel's Prime Minister and Defence minister and three Hamas leaders - accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The Israeli cabinet has already hit back - calling it 'moral blindness'. But this means the country's leaders could face arrest in over 120 countries (the signatories to the ICC) if they travel abroad.
Why has the prosecutor sought the warrants now - and what impact could this have on the war in Gaza and on Israel's relationships with the international community? Could Netanyahu really end up in the Hague?
Later, as the infected blood scandal finally acnkowledges decades of failure and cover up we ask why these slow burn scandals that wreck so many lives are such a familiar story in the UK.
And we talk to Omid Djalili about the death of Iran's PM in a helicopter crash.

I'm so sick of Netanyahu, the US and UK govts, with their performative indignation if Israel is pulled up over anything. The UN has spent years, telling them to behave and rulings are ignored every time.
A criminal is a criminal! Even Israeli politicians, if they can't behave properly.

do you have evidence???? the ICC has as much evidence as you have. according to them Netanyahu and Galan starved gazans and the evidence is of an overflow of food: 5million tons of it, sufficient to make all the palestinians obese. why do you want hamas to stay? Israel discovered 6 bodies, 6 young hostages brutally murdered. do you hate so much the jewish state and its people to want other 10/7 again and again? is it because you hate jews? show me how many people in Gaza starved to death, a dozen? less?

Alicia Kearns a UK a politician who speaks so much sense. “As she says read the judgement”. The hypocrisy of western government’s like UK & US is that the ICC Is only for the global south or countries that they don’t like or agree with. Are they really saying just because a country has a judicial system they can’t commit war crimes. More like they say they investigate their own, but make sure there is total cover up. And say “nothing to see here” & the western governments just agree.
