- A Dane County woman found herself in hot water with law enforcement after taking what she thought to be a job re-shipping boxes. News 3's Dave Delozier reports.
I was contacted by a company called Worldwide shipping logistics. I suppose to get paid 3500 a month and all I do is receive a package, post pics of it for the supervisor and drop it off a a mailing company and that’s it. Also $100 bonus if you go and pick up a package,$45 bonus if it’s shipped on time etc. I’ve done all the research I could and nothing pops up about the company. It’s now my 2nd day working and something just didn’t feel right. That’s was tooo easy

Same thing happened to me but when I felt like it was too good to be true I told them that I want the company credentials so I can verify them to IRS they stopped calling me .
I just got contacted for a job like tht doing the same thing for secure smart logistic
@guerob404 me too it's a scam the address doesn't check out and you can't find them on Google typing their name on YT brought up a bunch of ppl who were scammed by similar videos
Happened to me, a solar company took my info for employment and I can’t wait to have them prosecuted.

This happened to my daughter about 2 years ago. She started working for this company doing the same thing (shipping packages and receiving). She started to get 😮a lot of mail with different people names on it with her address. I told her something was not right and this maybe a scam. I made her go to the police station with this and they opened all the boxes. It had high end merchandise in it. The police said that the company mailing address to
ship was overseas. My daughter did not get into trouble with this but stop working for these crooks. So be careful with your job search.
Just got an email from some of these ppl called My Box. This scam has been going on at least since 2011 and it's now 2020. If it sounds too good to be true it is. Follow your instincts.
Yep VAT logistics is trying to get me to do it but it just seemed “scammy” I’m glad I came here to youtube. They almost got me.
I was contacted by XPress International out of Weston, FL supposedly. I'm skeptical as well and filing a report.

I just recently was contacted by a company in New Orleans, LA called Central Shipping, US with pretty much the same senario. I was advised to order a bunch of packing boxes from UPS, FedEx and USPS. Rather nervous about the whole thing about reading all the comments. I was contacted by phone and I've spoken to several individuals in the last couple of days. Check for the on the BBB and didn't find anything. Anyone heard of this company or have any suggestions on how I should proceed?

I work for a place called Bafler. Parents are upset deputies came to them and I still got merch in my house

Don't be naive, people. If you think about this for a few minutes, you can ask yourself, "why the hell would a company want me to re-ship expensive items for them?" The whole job doesn't make sense. Please report these scams to the FBI. If you participate in this you could end up in hot water.

I got a letter in the mail from the usps mail inspector telling me it was a scam and to lose contact with the scammers and then never heard from the inspector…the cops never showed up at my door but I went to the police station to make a report and they said they didn’t deal with that, and that was last year so I just gave up trying to make a report

I got news for you. I was approched by an investigator with a fire arm at a CVS today for checking up on a package and told me that the item was bought with a stolen credit card. GET AWAY from Peel-n-patch. They are very big scam. I showed him all I had on my phone and email about the company and he wrote it all down as I was giving it to him. He told me, " Well, obviously I'm not going to arrest you right now, but If you get a phone call from the other investigators, I suggest you cooperate". Get out before you get ran up by an investigator.

The presenter says "What will they think of next?" Well, jesus, this scam has been around for at least 12 years and this is the first they've heard of it?
The scam is becoming more and more elaborate, not only that it isn't talked about as much as you think. Most people's scam radar goes off if they have to give up money or something. Not being used for credit card scams
