For those of us who do not enjoy the festivities very much and struggle with that time of the year every year, this is too much too soon. It literally gives me anxiety to think about it. The rampant commercialism of Western society, coupled with the secularisation of various festivals (albeit, arguably, one could argue that they were hijacked by certain religions in the first place), means that there is excessive jumping of the gun - and as soon as the festival itself arrives, the shops are already putting away the decorations and jumping the gun on the next one. All that being said, it does fill some people with joy - anticipation of a thing can be fun, after all - and though I despair of the gun jumping, I wouldn't deny others the happiness it can bring to them.
@@MS-19 I don't deny them of anything, they can do what they want. If they enjoy it good for them. But there is a lot of people who also struggle four months in advance too. And the worst part is that at this rate, one day stores will start in the middle of summer. I think each thing has its own time, but that's just my opinion. Anyways, it was just a thought.
