    For some reason i wasn't exactly expecting something so painterly when i started the video. However i assume that it is far too easy to forget the scale of the piece while watching this video, and although a different way that the perhaps typical idea of just general washes... this seemed to have a very good idea from the start the exact imposed lighting and environment that it was going for. I am not sure if there is a very expected coloring or handling for some of these characters ever, but for some reason early on i was surprised by how saturated/alive the skin choices you made were. As for some reason i was expecting a more drown out color scheme, but i cant say why i would have been expecting something more zombie like.
    regardless, very well done and refreshing if nothing else making a more painterly style work so well.

    How do you do this!?
    Your videos are mesmerizing but painful.
    Let me calm down…
    I’ll start with a basic question; how do you choose your colors? Is it art school? Is it just instincts? Or experience?
    What’s painful about your videos, is that in some of these, you’re not using advanced, complex techniques. It ALMOST looks like I could do this. But that’s the illusion I guess… we can’t do what you do. Thank you for sharing another GREAT piece of art.

    The miniature is based on Adrian Smith's artwork, right?

    • @Sergiocalvominiatures
      @Sergiocalvominiatures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I don't know how to answer you, the sculpture is from black sun company, I don't know if it is inspired by him, and my painting is looking for a more tetric aesthetic and with a lot of contrast in the light. Without a doubt Adrian is an incredible artist and a source of inspiration for many, including me.
