@@sarahleary3162 I think the point John was making is that it´s not just the amount of practice that matters, rather that How you practice is what makes something more achievable and easy to overview.
I HAVE A HUGE URGENT QUESTION. So I have an audition on august 7 for Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, and I was wondering if I could put this under the category of technical. This does sound lyrical, but has a few technical parts to account for. Im begging you, I’m desperate😂😂😂
On auditions for US military bands, an entire etude of this length isn’t necessary. This is just meant to be an example of what would advance at an audition! Sorry about that.
What a beautiful tone.
Many thanks!
@@MilitaryTrumpetJobs you're very good trumpet player
I’ve never heard such a rich and gorgeous tone! Awesome that we have players like this in our Armed Force Bands!
Whoever this guy is he plays very beautifully I have autism they moved me to tears a little bit what a beautiful transitional piece
It's beautiful, isn't it!
you make it sound so easyyyy
Thanks!
Excellent job!
Thank you very much!
Wow, superior chops
Thanks, man!
Very clean notes 👍
Marvellous tone
This piece is tough the key signature is scary and needs plenty practice to perfect
There's nothing difficult about the key signature nor this etude

To each its own
Ron Wright it’s how one practices that really makes the difference between something being difficult to something achievable
@@MaynardFreek You just stated exactly what he said in the OP... to simplify it "while the key is tough, it just takes practice"

The best musicians are in the military and in symphonic orchestras. Excellent..I would love to have your tone.
Thank you so much!
by any chance are you using a Callet style embouchure?

Technical would be chromatic and/or a gross key signature with various accidents like Arbans Characteristics 7 or 14.
This etude kind of has everything, but in general I consider it a lyrical etude.

Wow, gorgeous...
Thank you! 😊
It's a shame it's not completed 😕

What a shame the rest of the etude is omitted! Well done!
