You’ve surpassed “talented guy working in his home shop.” This is Smithsonian class restoration. An extremely impressive job. In particular, sculpting the missing leg.
Brilliant! Though I might call this more of a Resurrection than a Restoration! You took the corpse of an object, and through artistry, innovation and craftsmanship brought it back to life. I am more than impressed - I am Gobsmacked! Brilliant!
I think this is one of your most masterful restorations. You demonstrated great skill. With it's missing and broken parts, and especially the broken leg, almost anyone else would have scrapped this scale. With skill, creativity and ingenuity, you made it useful and beautiful again. Thank you from USA.
Radek's hidden talent as a sculptor has now been revealed. Amazing restoration, how you were able to match it so well. They are all pointing in different directions. 15:41
Other restorers just fix things and clean them up. What you do is way beyond that! And as always, a great restoration needs great editing to create a visual masterpiece. Thank you.
From a lump of bondo, to that beautiful leg was very impressive. The gold highlights are always nice add a level of old time realism to the piece. This was from a time when functional and design were both used to enhance the kitchen. Thanks for sharing. 😁👍🇺🇸🇨🇱
Radek! Your fabrication skills are incredible! I've watched almost all of your videos by now, but this really shows how good you are at making missing/broken parts.
Fantastic job Raden and thanks to your wife for the helping hands ☺️. One of your best restorations sofar. I'm amazed how talented you are. Form scrap to a beautiful useful item. WOW!!!
This is, without a doubt, your best restoration ever! I can’t believe you had so little to work with and now it’s a complete, fully functional scale… and absolutely beautiful to top it off! Radek… you are truly amazing!
It's also amazing how much care went into things of that era. Today, a kitchen scale is a flat piece of metal, no frills, no decorations, just a digital read-out.
@@davesmith5656 … truly! Nothing has any artistry or glamour - and hasn’t for a very long time. In fact, the only thing I can honestly say that has maintained a sense of style blended with functionality are automobiles! All era’s except the 80s and 90s - most of those cars were crap! A few exceptions. And the more modern ones are starting to embrace curvy bodies again! Sexy and elegant! But, we’ll never see another period like Victorian Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau or Art Deco. This Nouveau kitchen scale is fabulous!

You did a wonderful job of sculpting that missing leg. I'm glad you decided to restore it rather than just use it for spare parts
Excellent Job of Replacing the Broken Parts.
I can only echo the comments by the others. This was awe-inspiring! Just WOW! 😮
