Had one of these 40 years ago. Could never get it to work because was like this one in the beginning. Really loved to see how it works. One of my favorite videos you have shown. Your expertise never ceases to amaze me. Blessings and stay safe.
My grandpa had one of those. As a kid me and the other grandchildren would beg him to let us use it. I think we may have planted more fields than he did. He was a very smart man. This brings back such wonderful memories. I love your canine helper too!! Thank you for sharing.
I grew up on a Dutch Amish farm in Pennsylvania and have used several different types of these planters! They do their job pretty good for smaller farms. Terrific restoration of a ole underrated tool! these tools were invaluable to the farm!.

Mona you did superb job supervising all that work. Another awesome restoration, even down to treating all the woodworm holes. Truly wonderful. Spare a moment to think on the genius who came up with the idea, worked, designed, no doubt thru many prototypes, before getting it just right.
Sitting here in awe. Hard to believe that the first 15 minutes were spent taking this modern miracle to bare bones. Was a miraculous feat. This is by far the top 10 on restorations, if not the #1! Excellent video and thank you for sharing. 👍👍👍
So many historical implements will go on to help younger generations connect with the past , thanks to your skills and attention to detail! Great job as always!
You two are just the best! Love your videos, love seeing all the techniques that you use - I always learn something. And Mona is just too cute! Thank you so much for posting, take care, stay healthy!
Fantastic ! As a young'un, I actually used something very similar to this. But as to taking it apart AND putting it back together in the correct way. I simply would not have a clue. So thank you for bringing back old (very old) memories, with another first class restoration !
I love that piece of master craftsmanship. So many parts to that seeder just to put those little seeds in the ground. Wish they made things like that today. Great job as usual.
It blows my mind that someone came up with this design to begin with... let alone that you have the skill to dismantle and restore it. Just plain AWESOME!
When a Veradona Restoration video is coming we know it will be a quality restoration of a very special item. We can feel the passion of Radek´s work through the screen. Perfect Job !
Again you make it look so simple and easy to do. Awesome work and thanks for sharing this video with us. This Texan watches you work with a little smile on my face and envies your skills. Paul 👍😁🇨🇱🇺🇸
Small seeder, but so many details. Such a large amount of restoration work. Bravo! For such a thing, any owner of a country house with a plot will lay out a lot of coins!

Cómo siempre excelente trabajo bella restauración y funcional . Volvió al trabajo 👍 También recuperaste los mangos . Trabajo duro pero dió sus resultados. Saludos a tu bella familia. Desde Venezuela ciudad de Maracaibo.
Absolutely wonderful restoration . I think this is your best restoration, and that is saying alot. Very thorough and careful. The repair of the broken metal part is very good, and I'm glad you could save the wooden handles. I think I would lose track of the various parts. There is more to this old seeder than I would have guessed. Excellent job. Thank you! Big smiles and best wishes from USA.
Long ago I had a Planet Jr planter. It had a chain drive and interchangeable, non-adjustable cylindrical seed plates. I wish it had a clutch because the chain was given to jumping off the sprocket if you rolled it backwards more than a couple inches. The adjacent row marker/follower is a nice touch on yours! When we planted corn with a tractor and 4-row planter we had a length of steel pipe strapped to the weight blocks at the front of the tractor. From the end a chain dangled and you'd put that right over the closest furrow of the previous pass to keep the row spacing correct.
You need to design and fabricate a two tine fork to slip under washers and remove them. Thanks for sharing this video restoration. Incredible work and craftsmanship on your part. Cheers.

Beautiful work Radak. Better than new because you took the time to do primer work. It'll think twice before it rusts again. Ha keep up the awesome work
I come from a farming background and am age 59, my father was a farmer and would have been 80 this year. Machines like this were laid rusting around farms in the UK when I was a child. I think it is a machine for planting root crops like turnip, carrots, sugar beet. Certainly, a type of crop grown in rows. Unlikely to have been used for cereal crops like wheat or barley. They might have been used maybe 100 years ago on small farms and in horticulture in the UK.
So many pieces it made me dizzy, I’m surprised you’re not disheartened before you even start. But I suspect that you love doing this, which is perfect, because we love watching. Win-win. Loved the submarine 😂
