- The Toyota Crown Signia is all-new for 2025, following on the footsteps of the Crown sedan and Venza wagon. Crown Signia is a midsize car that seats 5 passengers and is only offered as a 4-door model. Competitors include the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, Mazda CX-90 PHEV, Alfa Romeo Tonale. All models feature hybrid powertrain.
Two trims are offered: XLE and Limited. One drivetrain is offered: A 2.5-liter hybrid 4-cylinder paired to three electric motors that produces a total of 243 horsepower. It pairs to a continuously variable (CVT) automatic transmission. Only all-wheel-drive models are offered.
The Crown Signia replaces the outgoing Venza, and brings an all-new name and platform into the mix. Featuring looks similar to the new Prius with a size closer to the Crown, it is a sleek package with hybrid power and all-wheel-drive convenience. Pricing ranges from $45,000 to $52,000.

This is going to be my next vehicle. I like that it's a 2 row, hybrid SUV with lots of cargo space and towing capacity. There's so many 3 row SUVs out there and this one looks to be slightly smaller than a 3 row, but bigger than a RAV4. It also looks to be pretty upscale for a Toyota, more Lexus-like. The engine/powertrain are straight out of the Highlander (same displacement and horsepower rating). The fact that this is a new vehicle but they chose a proven, reliable and efficient powertrain is a huge plus for me.
50k+
In general its style makes it look beautiful.
That white looks sooooo good 👌 perfect roadtrip car?
It's looking beautiful the that frameless grill isn't looking that good. Do please note that framed front grill is what makes a car looks more attractive & appealing.
Would SO much rather have the Crown Sport PHEV in the US instead.
Farking shame that the C-HR in Europe is PHEV available. Looks better, too.
I would consider it.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video this toyota is what I call a station wagon thanks
2:15 Heisenberg filming
very nice 👌
Really loving the Crown series of Toyota if I go Toyota for my next vehicle, I think I’ll just be looking at the different crown series
Does it have a power adjustable steering column? The former Avalon had that feature.
Is Freddie Kruger filming? The shadow on the car gets me😂
It’s definitely Freddie 😂😂😂
Thank you for this review! We bought a '21 Venza Limited and are very happy with it. Averaging 41.1 mpg after 2 years of driving. I kind of think it was brought out to be a stop gap vehicle (they just rebadged the Japanese/Asia Toyota Harrier) until they were ready to reveal the Crown Signia. While the Venza uses the same engine/hybrid system as the RAV4, the Signia will be more upscale (aka a lot more expensive) than the Venza. I will be interested to see pricing when it comes to Canada because I think it is going to head into Lexus NX territory.
In their infinite wisdom, Toyota Canada has decided we can't have the Signia in the more affordable XLE trim. We must pay the extra money for the fully loaded Limited.
My very very first suv I am getting it in few years from now around 2026
It looks great but will a guy 6'4 225 be able to fit comfortably in the drivers seat of the Signia?
No turning signal lights?
exactly what happened to me i got my wife a venza but its a little tight inside for me being a bigger guy. I want to sit in one i may get one if the prices aren't crazy . the grille is a little strange.
When can I buy it at the dealer?
How tall are you? I’m trying to see how tall this wagon is
It replaces the last Venza which was a hit but Toyota could not fulfill orders and left alot of disappointed customers. Oh yes it had a spare tire.😂
Would love a hybrid max engine option
Would like for Toyota to let us know what exterior colors this will be available in, when they release this summer.
What is that red car in the background?
@vehiclevisionary they do not have Mercedes-Benz or Audi at the Chicago auto show anymore
I know and that is a shame. We are going to film a Lucid Air today. Stay tuned for that one.
@@VehicleVisionary nice
The rear wiper centered.. what?
No 2.4 Turbo?
I want a true wagon, not a puffed up crossover, ie based on the Japan only sedan.
Thank you for this review! It looks like it will be priced close to Lexus NX. Why not just buy NX?
Probably because this looks to be closer to the size of the RX
Would like to know the price of that vehicle? And does it compare with Alexis RX350?
48 to 50
Does this compete with CX-70?
Mazda CX-70? My understanding is it wasn't produced for the USA.
I like it a lot. But unless they put the Hybrix Max engine/powertrain, I would not be interested. Create a Platimum trim, Add the 340 hp powertrain Plus head up display and tell me where to order one.
For 56k though
You may not know but this has no spare tire. It only comes with a flat tire repair kit. If it fails to repair your tire you are stranded.
Just like cheap KIA. Here, have a can of Fix-A-Flat.
Headlights too low n no fog lights is a thumbs down.😢
A lot of GB words in this video😂
It’s not SUV
It's just a station wagon.
That’s a good thing.
@@dienduong5445not really, more a crossover.
Game Changer? More like GameOVER - it is FUGLY.
