Absolutely my most favorite blog in a long time. Probably since the early days of moving in your house & the renovations. If you think it isn't perfect, please think of it as perfectly imperfect. It's fabulous. Love seeing your day...not what you plan and want or think people want to see. I don't believe I'm alone in this. Maybe Homemaker chic podcast is successful because it's unscripted. I love this for it realness. I’m a sauna person too- began when I did a mercury detox many years ago and kept it up because it keeps my lifelong eczema at bay.

When I was 6 I picked up a ball that was near a yellow jackets nest, stung by 32, and fell into a mud puddle running home, which the Dr. said saved me from getting a lot more.

While I love garden and home renovation videos too, this is one of my favorites. It’s just nice to see a glimpse of life off camera.
Your videos always have a way of calming me and always bringing me back to what’s important. We are bombarded with keeping up with the Joneses and the chaos & anxiety of being something you are not especially as women. Watching this video for the second time bc I loved it! As always, you’re so inspirational! Soo many thoughts so here they are: 1. You go girl! You look amazing! 2. Aww I love seeing proud mama Ang! 3. I need to find a sauna so I can add this into my routine. Do you use your red light in the sauna or separately? 4. Can you please talk about your sheep? Are they for meat? Wool? Both? 5. So jealous of your lovely summer weather! It’s still 95 & humid here. Can’t fathom wanting to exercise outside unless I was swimming 🥵
If I could get my red light into the sauna I could kill two birds with one stone, sadly, the cord is too thick. I HAVE to figure out a solution now that I'm not headed to the beach every day. Sun exposure is VERY important to me.

I love all the videos you do, but this one had a special "realness" about it. And oh my gosh, Angela, I had the same sting several years ago on the inside of my left ankle!! I still remember it vividly. I felt like someone pounded a nail into me! My skin also blistered and actually died off in fact. It took several weeks to heal, and I still have a pock mark on the site. I totally feel your pain! ❤ (maybe a burdock or plantain poultice for a few days would help draw out the poison...)

Oh, my goodness! Watching those lunges made my knees SCREAM! I had my left meniscus removed a few years back and before that, tore my inner right knee ligament, so no lunges for me! You look good, though! 😂

You are allergic to the yellow jacket sting Angela. Be careful. I know this because my son is also allergic to them. We've had problems with them around our house and are currently battling them. Trying to get rid of a huge colony before he comes for a visit with his family. Your energy is amazing. The bread looks wonderful.
I have an epi pen in the kitchen. I was very thankful it wasn't my face, neck, or chest. I will be terribly mindful from now on. I had no idea one was even near me.

Angela, please, please, please make sure you go to the shop Crimson run by an expat and former Texas model, Linda V. Wright. She has such a lovely presence AND she sells the BEST cashmere - some of it is 10(!) ply. And she also has gorgeous scarves. A good friend took my advice in pre-pandemic 2020 and loved Linda and her shop. I'm only sorry I didn't drop everything and join her at that time. You will NOT be sorry, even if you buy just a pair of cashmere gloves. You could even do a bit of filming with her, and grab a bite/beverage in a nearby cafe with her. I so hope the two of you lovely souls meet! What a lovely collaboration that would be.
Same thing happened to me last week but it was a red wasp! Thought I was fine but then the next day my hand was swollen, feverish and hurt! Took about three -four days to clear up. I think your hat was a Dale Jr hat?? I’m a NASCAR fan also! Grew up with it🏁 It’s the only sport I follow. Love the video❤

Self care is so important ! Never did that when I was your age,wish I had! I have to carry an epi pin , with me now as I am allergic to wasp. My vest tightens up, and I feel like I am straining to breathe, plus I feel like am on fire and all up for days !
