  • These days, when we talk about wireless communication for our microcontroller projects we have so many awesome options. Bluetooth, Wifi, Radio, you can't go wrong! While there are tons of great options out there, if you want two Arduinos talking, over long distances, then the NRF24L01 is an awesome option! While they're pretty easy to add to any Arduino project, in this video I'm focusing on the Keywish RF Nano, a great little Arduino Nano, with the NRF24L01 built right in! We're going to use it to bring hook up our Universal Robot Controller to our Robotic Laser Cannon Kit! As always we have all of the code, a full tutorial, and the board files if you feel like customizing things on our website. Check it out!

legit I've been through like 5 videos and didnt fully understood how this worked. this is the best video so far, and he explains the code really nicely as well. thank you :)

Fantastic, finally an explanation in plain english! Thank you so much for the great video.

Just watched my first video on your channel, i subscribed immediately, just awesome! Love it, the simplicity and straight forwarded setup with some peripheral infos but kept on the low👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
    Personal hero!

You are a life saver. I have spent all day trying to squirt 5 items of identifiable data between two RFnanos using all sorts of sprintf commands structuring and de-structuring the data at each end with dubious success.Your little bit of magic with arrays has solved all my problems in about four lines! (I am not a seasoned programmer you can tell) Many thanks

Good suff, did you end up creating a 2way communication tutorial?

How many meters do you get with the long range RF on the nano?

Hey I had issues following this, but found that when I switched the CE and CSN pins (CE to 9 & CSN to 10) it started functioning correctly

I know this is an older video, but I am having a huge struggle getting two nRF24L01s sending data. It worked and then just stopped working suddenly. I don't know what the issue is. Do you think I should switch out to these or keep trying? I've been working on this project for like 7 months now and have spent probably double my original budget.
Should I invest in these or push through? Because these seem very enticing, especially because I know how to do PCB design.

Merci j'ai enfin compris comment fonctionne une RF-nano (et beaucoup plus Tank's)

Really nice video! I’ve been working on a drone project for a while and having some trouble with the nrf24 modules. I think I’ll tryout the RF-nano. Do you have any advice on how to control the speed of a bldc motor using gyro? Thanks!

Anyone Can Build Robots! Thank you for replying! I had a quick question. I’m trying to make a drone using purely arduinos, and have stumbled across a big issue. How can I interrupt certain controls, like throttle, and send something like the pitch and the same time? Is something like this possible with nrf24s? Thanks!

@@musaahmed9265 Hey! I know this is over a year late, but what you can do to send multiple things at the same time, is store them all in a struct, and then send the whole struct at once!
Keep in mind that the NRF24 has a max payload size of 32 bytes so the entire struct has to be less than that.

Got myself RF nano and even test code doesn't show any data being transferred. Is there any specific library or anything else that's needed for this specific board? Got 2 Manos with rf24 attached working fine but RF nano does nothing. Any pointers?

    Hello sir please help me
When i am connecting rfnano to mpu6050 rx led is blinking but tx led doesn’t and no reading
Please help me to save my project
Why this is happening i also used another rfnano with another mpu6050 same result but if I connect it to arduino nano works well
You answer will save my school project
    Thank you god bless you
