Interesting seeing Zhiyun and DJI launching new gimbals at the exact same time and seeing all of the most amazing creators battle it out! Bestboy Adam, MikeVisuals, James Matthews, Nabil, Taylor Cut Films all releasing videos at the same time! What a day to be alive haha
That's their job. Play the "influencer" game well enough and you're all set.
Meanwhile us with older Gimbals will be left in the dark with no firmware/software updates and lacking combability with newer cameras. Always NEW NEW NEW... buy new one every year! FFS. 😂
@@pr1sm55 I’m in that boat with you. I haven’t quite reached that level of success to where I can always just buy something when it comes out. I have to make my gear last 5+ years or more before upgrading one piece of it, let alone all of it

As somebody who is currently filming with a three-camera set-up, this Lidar focus is going to be what I have been wishing for on my BM Ursa Mini Pro 12k; A REALLY GOOD AUTO-FOCUS SYSTEM! So of course I got swamped this morning when I woke up by a notifications from TH-cam from all of my subscriptions to creators who published videos on the new RS3 like you when the embargo lifted. Yours was the first one that I clicked on. Always great info, and imagine my surprise when I saw that you were rigging it up to shoot karting which is what I am currently getting into filming for a partnership with a racetrack. Would love to see more on how you rig that up and what you learned from filming those.

Hi Adam, great review. I have a Sony A7IV and the Tamron 35-150mm f2/2.8 which is a very heavy (1.2kg) and long zoom lens. I am wondering which gimbal I need out of the RS3 and RS3 pro? I really would prefer the smaller and cheaper on if possible, but I don't know how it will perform when the lens is extended to longer focal lengths like 150mm (it does not zoom internally). I can't find the answer anywhere! Any thoughts?
