    Love the chain lube attachment genius, I invested in a bike dryer last year as it was taking all day to clean all my bikes best bit of kit I’ve brought in ages.

    A drier is a great idea , I've been looking to get one for a while , this one looks very good . A little tip for you , Electrics , they can over time become corroded and blowing could blow water into them potentially , what I have done to all of my bikes is put a little squirt of acf 50 into all the connecters , it is what acf 50 is designed to do in the aircraft industry and works well with bikes as well , it's a small thing but it keeps connecters in great shape . All those products look great at what they do and will be checking them out .

      Cheers Gary. Yes I’m a big ACF50 fan too.

    Ordered some more stuff from Autobrite on your recommendation, already had the wheel wax and it is excellent. Also fitted a pair of Hitchcock’s stainless headers today, really enhances the sound through my S&S slip-ons to a deep roar, if the the four horsemen of the apocalypse had a motorbike it would sound like this 😎

    Alright i have been using a pet dryer for about ten years and it does the job very well at a quarter of the price and i still use it on the dog two for the price of one ride free.

    Legendary Video, your quality of content makes a very informative video look like a film. Nevertheless, a film with the information turned up a notch.

    Another enjoyable WM vid. Thank You.
    You ask how I do mine? In short, I don't.
    These days, I'd much prefer my bikes not to get wet.....which is why I no longer ride in the rain......or wash them.

    I use a bit of MUC Off cleaner when it's really dirty then auto shampoo.. To dry the bike a MetroVac air force blaster, has a 1.8 HP motor and blows every bit of water off the bike moves 18000 ft of air a minute. It is sooooo easy to dry the bike this way and gets water out of places you would never be able to get with the rag.... Cheers Mate

    Products look good 👍, will give them a try! The driers are great, especially after a winter ride if you only have time to hose the bike off....at least you can park it up dry!! Cheers, Steve

    I got a suggestion, don't forget to remove your seat and blow dry the panel under and around it as it may get rusted as the motorbike ages.

    Great tips, personally never used those chemicals, I normally use Wurth dry lube on the chain and their bike , aluminium polish. But will give the ones use when I run out, re drying that hose looks very handy getting into those awkward areas , I use a flymo leaf blower and again will look at the one you have when mine dies, noticed you have not had your recall done on your brakes ! It’s worth booking it in as I Believe stocks are low in dealers , take care ride safe .ps that Ravishing Red is still the best colour 😀

      Thanks Tony, I got the letter the other day. I will get it done ASAP. Thanks for the heads up on the stock. 100% agree on the ravishing red :)

    Q: What do you use for your Tuonos matte finish surfaces?
    And a tip - next time you buy chain lube, try the Würth dry lube. I am very happy with it and it's recommended to me by some serious people.
    Cheers!

      I use the same products on the Tuono (not the metal workx though). I will check out the Würth dry lube, thanks.

    Give it a shot and try Koch-Chemie products for the painted areas. They produce some pretty neat sealing waxes and polishes when it comes down to paint protection. :)
    Cheers!

    Try having your bike ceramic coated at Pristine detailing, much better than having to wax and then reapply

    I never wash my bike or ride it when it’s wet. Complete water virgin. Regarding the chain premium Scottoiler for me. Keeps the chain so clean as the oil migrates across the chain it takes dirt with it. It’s as clean as when it was new. All of these sticky sprays pick up dirt then it ends up like sticky grinding paste, almost impossible to clean off the chain, just don’t do it. Chain oiler is the only thing that works. Yes get a few specs of oil on rim but any more than that and the flow is adjusted wrong. Being non sticky it just wipes off the rim with a cloth. Never clean your chain again and reduce wear to a minimum. Please review one.I have the new type with digital display.

    Have you planned anything for the tube wheels of the interceptor?
    Something like tubeless spoked wheels?

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not for me, i'm ok with the tubes.

    Always used to believe using blowers/dryers was a load of old tosh till I used one! When you seen the amount of water than gets blown out from everywhere it’s no wonder than bikes suffer from corrosion at at young age. Screwfix/Toolstation sell a vacuum hoover/blower that works well used to be under £50. Don’t know what the current price is.

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes crazy amounts of water ends up getting trapped. Total nightmare without a dryer.

    Hearing of the Interceptors suss electrics I place a chamois over the clocks and plastic bags over the switch gear. Bit paranoid?? Anyone else bother?

    • @WildlifeMoto
      @WildlifeMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can’t hurt to be careful. They do tend to mist up after washing.

    • @martinowl
      @martinowl 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What sus electrics is that? Had mine almost 2 years been ridden in all weather other than snow & ice, no issues whatsoever . I haven’t seen any other comments on this, so interested to know the issues that have crooked up.
