This was so interesting. It's crazy how much actually goes into making a show happen. Thank you for sharing this Matt! Can't wait to see you guys again. It's been too long. 🤘
Wow the downstairs of the Wiltern was beautiful! I hope you got to take a minute to chill out there. Too cool! The snowfall Epiphone is one of the sexist guitars I have seen in awhile too. This tour seems pretty memorable Matt! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Props for doing this kind of content Matt. I hope eventually it provides you with decent income; a lot of people don't realize how much fans would kill to see/know more about the musicians they're such huge fans of.
Thanks for the show in Portland last month! I'm stationed overseas and everything perfectly fell into place so I could be there on my bday. Pretty awesome to see a few behind-the-scenes, gaming, and colabs like with Jared Dines.
Matt! I was here! I was an idiot and bought a vip ticket in August but didn't know I had to actually get a show ticket too lol I thought for some reason it was included in the meet and greet. I was struggling to quickly buy a ticket as the line for the meet and greet was dwindling because my signal was so bad. I finally got a ticket, I think I may have even bought the last available one too and you guys were done with the fan meet. I just wanted to say thank you so much for being nice enough to still let me come say hi backstage. You guys are all awesome and you put on a killer show. Can't wait for the next one!
Man I saw you guys when you opened for iced earth back in 2004 or 2005 at Saratoga winners in upstate NY. It was a tiny place and I'm pretty sure you were just some dude in a band I had never heard of and you were wearing basketball or gym shirts of some sort on stage and that seemed odd to me at the time. Pretty sure I passed out during your set cuz I hadn't eaten all day and got carried outside for a bit. But it's crazy to see where the years have gone. I miss going to those types of little shows when I was a kid in highschool, and I distinctly remember that night in particular. I had a great time. It's sort of neat for me to recall that and then see a video like this and consider see how far you guys have come since then. Cool video man.
I saw y'all October 17th, 2016 In Charleston, SC (Greatest state btw, Florida is still good). That show was amazing!! I really want to hear The Sin and the Sentence live as well!!
Love your Music been a fan for a long time Love the videos keep it up hope to see you guys again I only seen you open up once for slipknot in Michigan at the Palace of Auburn Hills
I'm digging the mixed martial arts. I just got into the gym a few months ago and have gained 20 lbs in 2 months with good calories and proteins, been getting into it pretty heavy. Been looking into getting into an mma gym ran by gorge gurgel here in Ohio, can never hurt to know proper technique, even if it's never used, it's good discipline!
hey Matt i'm a beginner guitarist and i want to learn some trivium songs, if you have the time can you upload a song tutorial? And great show btw wish i could go to your concert someday
Hey man I doubt Matt would post a tutorial but if you want to learn Trivium songs, specifically the solos I highly recommend you check out Chris Zoupa. He has Like Light to the Flies, Down From The Sky, Pull Harder, etc just to name a few. I wish I would've had his tutorials for learning leads when I first started. Good luck and always remember to use a metronome!
Alex Sulonen Miso Soup is a salty soup with tofu and vegetables. What Matt is eating there looks like Ramen. Ramen are basically some sort of noodles with meat, fish, eggs or vegetables or all together. Never ate Ramen, so I don't know if it tastes better than Miso Soup.
Hey matt not sure if you read these comments, i love your work and trivium. I want to give you a gift in either Antwerp or Haarlem, how can we arrange this?
The guy at the breakfast spot didn't get the memo. No one eats until Matt Heafy eats. Lol
Good to see you vlogging Matt, Can't wait to see you guys win tour!
These vlogs are cool dude, keep it up
"Assistant to the regional tour manager" 😂😂😂😂 Love the reference, as well as the rest of the video! Thanks for sharing Matt! 🤘

Props for doing this kind of content Matt. I hope eventually it provides you with decent income; a lot of people don't realize how much fans would kill to see/know more about the musicians they're such huge fans of.

I was there too!!!
This was great.
Legend has it that Matt's hands are not fast forwarded in the warm up montage at 17:36

It'll be super uncomfortable for him but it has to happen.
How does one become the guitar tech for trivium?
