John Mellencamp - Live in Indianapolis July 4, 1992

John and his great band delivered a spirited set of rock 'n roll when the Whenever We Wanted Tour rolled into the Deer Creek Amphitheater just outside of Indianapolis on July 4, 1992.
I realize I have another version of this video on my channel already, but I thought people would like to see this without the weather alert on the screen the whole time. :)

I went to this concert back in the late seventies here at the Mets sports center he was a warm-up band for Head East well what happens we the fans boot Head East back off the stage and kept hollering Johnny Johnny and he came back on stage and played again you can't make it up

great concert!! Saw him several times in the 80's. In my mind one of the great rockers of all-time. I put him in the american mt rushmore. Seger, Sprinsteen, Petty and yes.... Mellencamp

I saw this tour twice it’s amazing how minutes to memories happen like a flash in the frying pan, my first cassette purchased as a young lad at 13 was Uh-huh been a fan since I love Johnny Cougar Mellencamp he’s amazing and cool my only wish was for his live shows be longer I’ve waited in line longer than a show had lasted but he never disappointed on stage
