Type of fight makes you feel bad for sitting down and watching it. Need to get up and do some cardio after watching this.
Sittichai won by turning the tide and being more accurate with damaging strikes. The other fighter did very well, but slightly faded and this helped the judges make their decision.
Bhutusa started off strong but Sitthichai ended it so much better; in a swift and epic way that no one expected
too much experience.
I like Bhutusa, though.
Young guy and bright future, but the pressure got to him. He seemed overly excited and it changed in the second and third round when sittichai got his kicks going. Dude is an ex Glory champ, not a chump.

Boutasa has a bright future. Sitthichai is a beast and a veteran of the game, they went toe to toe with each other. Boutasa should get his cardio on point and keep on improving, he might become champ some day. This is not a defeat, it's a learning experience.
feel like he was gassed cuz of all the jumping attacks he was throwing at the beginning im like 50 secs into the video and hes thrown at least 6 jumping strikes
at first it didn’t hurt him to be friends with his head, otherwise this boudoin obviously has problems with his head. who fights like that? he rushes at his opponent like a hysteric

Ситтичай победил. Однозначно. Бутаса хорош и имеет отличную технику и кондиции, но он выиграл лишь один раунд. Поэтому и проиграл. Не смог давить слишком долго. И опытный таец сразу почуял слабину и стал расстреливать связками по этажам и связывать атаки издалека от молодого бойца. Опыт помог.

This fight felt more of a lesson to learn rather than a defeat for Mohammed.

Mohammed Boutasaa won the first round and Sitthichai won round 2nd and 3rd round. It was a close fight, but Sitthichai still clearly won a unanimous decision just like was announced. It’s not necessarily a loss, but it’s a learning experience. There’s no shame in losing to sitthichai. He’s an 8 time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion and probably the best Thai kickboxer of all time.

MB demonstrates youthfulness. He is well prepared for this fight. SS is clearly the slower of the two. This observation is however misleading as the round progresses.
R1: The low and mid kicks are pretty much even. The difference can be seen in the hit rate. They were not fighting at close range. MB countered as SS pressed the attack. SS was successful with straight punches to the body and left/ right hooks to the head. When MB counters, he also likes to throw flying knees. On three occasions, he ate punches in mid-air. He was repeatedly pushed and forced to retreat to the fence. SS seems slower but he connects with precision. MB is like a young snake that can quite control his bites/ venin yet. SS slightly won the round. In the most generous manner, one can only grant him a tie or "almost win".
R2: MB was successful with the push kicks. He got the timing right. SS pressed and MB counter a solid kick to the neck that destabilized SS. Both fighters let their hands go freely. At the beginning of the exchange, SS countered with two clean straight left. SS leaned back and evaded 7 of the 10 punches. SS received the end of the last punch. He lost equilibrium and found himself on the ground. MB sensed that he hurt SS and decided to launch the second barrage of 15 punches/ kicks/ knees. SS ate 7 of them. Under MB thread, SS was able to connect with 5 counters: 2 came earlier but the last three were the golden ones. 1 straight left to the jaw that shook MB's body and was immediately followed by a left hook that disabled his feet and finally SS closed the action by throwing a solid knee that fold MB in half. These 3 counters were decisive for the remainder of the fight. SS then went to the offense, and he solidly connected with 5/5 attacks. MB was able to connect with 1/4 counters. MB had a moment, but the round belongs to SS.
R3: SS controlled the round with a decent volume of 20 attacks. He connects at least 45pc. MB was not productive and exhausted.
Personal opinion: MB misjudges SS in R2 . He thought that he hurt SS and exhausted himself recklessly. He should have known that champions usually find ways to come back.
The commentators were also off. They want MB to win. They didn't see the decisive punches and knees. Thanks, the obnoxious one is not there to spoil the event. Hopefully, we never about him again.
