Super debut at One for Mohammed Boutasaa. Was really surprised to see him fighting Kiria in One cause I didn't know they signed him there.
Hey by any chance do you have any recommendation for some new prospects to watch?
@@kirkbrindley6799 new prospects. Me myself always follow featherweight kickboxing at one championship. That's imo the best division in kickboxing. They do have a new champion named Superbon and he's on a crazy streak. Other than that not really. This guy Boutasaa is actually a good prospect to follow. There are some others but I can't come up the names at this moment. One championship has imo the best fighters and keeps good eyes on prospects to sign them. That's what I follow mostly.
@@kirkbrindley6799 I think for (younger) prospect fighters you should have a look at Glory or Enfusion since ONE has a lot of veteran fighters in the kickboxing category, most of them have been K1 or Glory champions before.

Boutasa is a real monster
DK and Marat Grigorian pretty much have a one-dimensional style. They shine when they can impose their physical strength on their opponents. They have to be on the offense and solidly plant themselves on the ground to deliver power punches. They can also take punishment to deliver their own packages. In this fight, DK was surprised by the relentless MB. MB has something extra that other fighters don't. Most fighter uses the push kick (or Teep) as a defensive weapon and executes it one at a time, but MB uses it defensively, offensively, and successively in combination with punches, kicks, and knees. These unpredictable combinations destabilize DK. In addition, at close range, DK's smaller stature was perfect for MB's knees to hit his face. Thus he never had a chance to reset and initiate his own counters. DK was completely outclassed by MB at R3. DK made a tactical mistake by waiting and staying outside that is the perfect range for MB. If DK meets MB again, he can win by changing his strategy. He has to stay in the "no man's land" zone and pressure MB to back up and thus limiting his striking ability. At no man's land that is not clinching, kick, or teep zone, so he would neutralize all MB's dangerous strikes. He has to only worry about the knees which are less effective and can be destabilized easily in this zone. All he needs is one good barrage of power punches to the body and KO MB. I have doubt that MB can use this same tactic against Marat Grigorian who is physically imposing. MB is impressive but untested. We haven't seen him taking heavy blows yet. Future fights will be interesting.
Very well put. Although I believe his distance management is second to none and his style is based around keeping his opponent at his range, I think anyone is going to have a really hard time getting in his face. He throws all kicks with so much volume, you never know which is coming and how to react in time enough to catch and/or counter. And he mixes his hands in there very well, at the right times. Very exciting prospect imo, I seen people comparing him to petrosyan, and I’m not saying they’re wrong at all.
His feints and fakes are also amazing.
Just put him against a Thai fighter and his abilities will become weaknesses.
We dont support him in the Netherlands. He has the most boring and ballerina like style there is. You can keep him.
